Review: I realy liked this movie. I can't imagine why anybody would give this movie just one star. Brendan Fraser is a great actor and The Rock also did a great job. If you are a fan of Brendan you must see this movie. And when you love action and adventure movies this is a must!

Summary: Entertaining and Hysterical(literally)
Review: This seems to be a movie that you either really love or really hate.I love it.Admittedly,the first "Mummy" was better in terms of plot and character development.But,hey, this is a sequel and the characters are old friends-so who cares if they're developed?The Mummy Returns is most enjoyable because of the great special effects,the zany comedy and ,of course,my favorite character-the Mummy!The guy who plays the part is perfect-and even a little touching in the end.But I have to say,my favorite scene is probably the "cat fight" between Evie and Anak-su-namun.

Review: I have mixed feelings about this movie, I suppose, like many people do. The plot is large-scale, there are now two bad guys to defeat, and the main character is funny and engaging.For me personally, I would rather see an action movie with more depth of emotion, less obvious special effects, and a less predictable plot. Essentially, not a comic book movie. I would count myself in the minority of Americans, however. Movies such as Three Kings, Memento, and Gladiator are more up my alley. If you enjoy huge armies going into battle, lots of special effects, and The Rock, check this one out. You'll dig it.

Review: It's even better this time around. Less gore, more fun. Of course it's campy--it's supposed to be. But aside from the not-quite-there later version of the Scorpion King, this movie's a romp from start to finish. Most of the main folk are back and there's "you know...mummies...pygmies...big...bugs." Give me this over any of those stupid dumb-joke popular flicks any day. Amusing, worthwhile characters and plenty of action. And thanks, Mr. Sommers, for bringing Ardeth Bey back. He's got too much talent to waste.

Summary: I loved it!
Review: I thought this was an awesome movie. Not only did they keep the main characters from first movie together, but they had better and cooler special effects and tied the this movie together with what happened in the first one. This movie had alot more action in it and more special effects.
Also on this DVD is many many special features like interviews with just about everyone and an egyptian type dictionary. This DVD is packed with hours and hours of fun and interesting entertainment.
But this DVD and enjoy the ride.

Review: If you watched the first movie" The Mummy", you will also enjoy this movie as well. It has the same great cast plus this one goes into a little more detail about each of the main characters.This movie is more action packed than the first,maybe just a little too much.There are two essential bad guys in this one,and at some points in the film there might be just a little too much going on at one time to keep track of.However, any fan of mummy movies will enjoy the visual effects,scenery,cast and I think especially "the little pygmy mummies".Looking forward to the next one.Enjoy!!!!

Review: Had to add my two cents worth. I loved the Mummy and I love the Mummy Returns. I buy very few DVD's but I'm adding this one to the collection because I keep renting it. Same cast returns and the secretive strong silient Med-jai, Ardeth Bay, has a bigger part. Lots of criticism about plot problems and such - I don't really expect an accurate realistic plot from a movie about a Mummy that returns to life. With this type of movie I accept most anything, sit back and love it for the fun, action, beautiful sets, the handsome Ardeth Bay (Oded Fehr), the brawny Rick O'Connell and the brainy Evie. Great Movie!

Review: What a shame for all Americans that they cannot broaden their minds to some kind of escapism for a change. Not everything needs to be black and white. Truthfully, the sequel is not as good as the original, but when you fancy sitting down and watching something other than the news, why not watch a tongue-in-cheek film, with spiffing good yarns and stiff upper lips. So to all the Americans slating this film, loosen up or your as dead as the mummies in the film.
