Summary: A Very Well Done Movie
Review: The Mummy has always been a popular story, and with todays standards, this version is truly unique. The Acting and CGI (Computer Graphic Images} are very good, and help show how this story would really be if it were to happen.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Engaging romp through myth and history!
Review: I enjoyed the combative, and often times romantic, commeraderie between Fraser and Weisz. Great graphics, good character development and wonderful "bad guy." Thoroughly entertaining and sure to be a future classic.

Summary: Best matinee movie of the year!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this movie mainly because it pretends to be anything but serious. It has eveything from action to romance to superstitious curses and creepy crawly insects. You'll love it.If Spielberg ever needs a succcessor for Indiana Jones he should look no further than Brendan Fraser.I would hesitate however about showing the kids but the grown ups will not be bored.Looking forward to the sequel...

Summary: Non-Stop Rollercoaster of Fun and Special Effects
Review: Great fun - the re-creation of Ancient Egypt was awesome and the action kept me glued to the screen. I won't compare it to Indiana Jones - as far as I'm concerned The Mummy deserves to be considered on its own. Give me more of this "Comedy/Horror" Genre anytime!

Summary: The Mummy is the best adventure movie ever.
Review: The Mummy has an excellent storyline as well as effects which is why everyone should see it. It is also genuinely funny and action packed. Fraser is brilliant as the adventurer and Weisz is equally brilliant as the clumsy, yet sophisticated Egyptologist. Put that together with a 3000year old mummy and some special effects and you have a certified hit!

Summary: Explorer goes to Egypt to search for long lost treasure.

Summary: A non stop high-tech thrill ride.
Review: Although many critics and movie-goers gave it a bad name TheMummy is the best movie I have ever seen. The effect light up thescreen, the characters pull you in and it keeps oyu on the edge of you seat. This movie has a bit of everything. Action, comedy, horror, romance, and very good looking men. Despite hard blows to it such as the Mummy has no plot or the characters are hard to identify with this movie has grossed over $300 million worldwide. And the plot and characters keep the story in check without going into too much sope opera detail. If you like Indiana Jones you'll LOVE The Mummy!

Summary: funnier Than heck
Review: I thought the movie was one of the funniest I've ever seen! It's trying to be dangerous and scary. But all I could do was laugh! That's not necesarily a bad thing, but not what I think they were going for! And the special effects were good ..... for the 80's!

Summary: Tired of Blockbuster Movies
Review: This movie is a tipical teenager blockbuster: lots of special effects, preatty actors, advanture and comedy all mixed together and cliches, cliches and CLICHES. I get out of my mind when people compare this movie with Indiana Jones. Please! Indiana Jones was original, charming, inteligent, very good acted and, well, let's see... it has a PLOT! Well, I have to say one thing: The Mummy indeed has not a single quality Indiana has .

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Tongue-in-cheek horror, great for all ages;sheer fun
Review: Not just for the young crowd. There is a lot of good fun, terrific computerized scenes, slapstick laughs...for everyone. Definitely NOT a serious movie, and Brendan Frasier is almost believable. See this movie and then rent the original with Boris Karloff.
