Summary: Special Effect, etc...
Review: This vampire film is probably one of the worst vampire films i have seen. It's illogical and silly. This film is made for kids under 10. I don't understand why some people (pls don't take it personally) would give it a thumb up for special effect. You can tell these effects is made of low budget worksatation by very limited resources. Nothing can compare to Terminator, Jurassic Park, Godzilla, etc... I couldn't sit for over 120 mins for this movie. Really waste of time. But enjoy the alternative ending. I think the studios should follow suit like this DVD. Great features, creative. Too bad that I don't like this movie, otherwise, I think it's worth of keeping one.

Summary: Top of the line coreography
Review: Although a few of the scenes were cheesy(the car chase scene), the fighting scenes were to die for. The martial arts action kept me clung to the edge of my seat with excitment. All the extras on the DVD make it a must have for any action fan. I can only hope there will be a sequal.

Summary: Help me, I feel faint. (or am I just anemic)?
Review: This was my first DVD experience and I am glad it was with BLADE. I was stuck to the screen the whole time and my husband didn't even take a smoke break like he ALWAYS does. Wesley Snipes was in fine shape. The entire cast was believable. I will be wearing a turtleneck for awhile.

Summary: Just when you thought the comic based movie was dead...
Review: Finally, a movie that compares with the original Batman. Fight scenes are well choreographed and the cinemetography is to die for. A definate recommendation for those looking for something new and different.

Summary: Violence, Violence and more Vilolence!!!!!!!
Review: The makers of this movie thought that there is never enough violence. Now, for teenage boys this is a great movie. But for others it may be a little much.

Summary: Totally mindless... loved it
Review: Every once in awhile, you need a movie that allows you to shut down all higher brain functions and just enjoy the hell out of yourself. Far from Oscar winning material (this is on a different continent), this is just a blood and guts (literally) action/horror flick that fits the bill when you're with friends, drinkin some beer and want to veg.

Summary: One of the best action-horror films of all times.
Review: This film has to be taken for what it is, a horror-action special effects extravaganza. Critics rate movies like this poorly because they dont have some incredible heartfelt storyline. When are they going to open there eyes and realize that audiences like movies that are just plain fun to watch. Not every movie has to be some sappy tear jerker with a deep moving plot. Studios need to make more movies like Blade. It is one of the best action movies I have ever watched.

Summary: GOOD MOVIE
Review: Look some people need to lighten up. This movie has good soild action, and a touch of gore. The plot was straight forward...kinda of predictable, but what plot isn't nowadays? I give this story kudos, and i don't even really like snipes. I must admit though this film is great!

Summary: Slicing through the competition
Review: From the superbly choreographed opening scene to the fight-packed finale, Blade is an action movie par excellence. Production design and cinematography are also excellent. The actors themselves are largely workmanlike in their performance, but this is balanced by the frenetic multiple style martial arts action. The extras on the DVD include three fairly lengthy documentaries/commentaries as well as support material. As to the DVD itself, the titles are a little hard to read, but the film-to-digital transfer shows few MPEG artifacts. The Dolby Digital soundtrack is crisp.

Summary: Typical comic book action, but that's it.
Review: Apart from the action sequences and some good visual effects, I found the movie quite boring and dragging. I didn't know where it was going or what the director was intending. And the ending (the Russia sequence) was completely unncecessary and added to the movie's downfall. It should have been left out. I guess I shouldn't have expected too much, though, from a comic book action movie.
