Summary: Blade excessive punching wasn't called for made him look bad
Review: overall a very good action flick the strength the jump scene from the hospital window, slow motion of the bullets, a lot of good stuff. The concept were good the overplaying is what hurt the movie.

The jumps and bullets can be seen in the matrix.

Summary: HIDEOUS, COMPLETELY, UTTERLY HORRIBLE
Review: This film being popular is proof that the average American moviegoer is a moron. Flimsy, uninspired plot. Grandiose, "seen-it-before", effects. Snipes does a great injustice to Martial Arts with his wooden, constipated, attempt at showing any kung fu prowess. Snipe's moves are so stiff, I imagine rigor mortis not being much more rigid. Instead of this nonsense, go watch a Hong Kong Jet Li or Gordon Lu movie if you want to watch real kung fu.

Summary: How much more vampiric can you get, engrosing and amazing.
Review: wow how amazing is this film, I went into this expecting alot and gained so much more. I think i have just seen snipes in possibly his best role to date (except for in two wong foo) the film was energetic and at last we have a comic book hero that made it to the big screen and the film didnt suck. I didnt really have alot to write about the film as everyone can form there own opinion on the matter but if i was to influence anybody to see a film it would be this one.

Summary: Blade the best movie of '98
Review: This action packed thriller is a must see for vampire killer movie fans. It had the perfect cast starring Westly Snipes (Blade) and much more.

Summary: Tons of action
Review: This movie has tons of action. The music fits the scenes perfectly. Lots of interesting special features.

Summary: Not a slow moment
Review: This movie really has it all: superheroes, vampires, martial arts, an old guru, special effects, an awesome techno soundtrack, and a better-than-average comic story that successfully mixes tongue-in-cheek antics with Batmanesque characters. Snipes and Kristoffersen are a good hero/mentor duo. There is not a boring minute in this film. Go for it.

Summary: I Want that Samurai!
Review: Lets just say that this has to be one of the best vampire movies I have seen up to date! The gore is great, the action is superb and the Rave scene in the begining is just awesome! The music gives the movie a great dark feeling to it, yet it energizes you to cheer when he dices a vampire to pieces. I think Wesley Snipes portrays Blade superbly! Even though he doesent say much, he doesen't have to! His dark coat, and shades with the armour popping out, gives the enemy the message that Blade is not someone you can fool with! The samurai is the coolest! I want one! Truly a great movie!

Summary: State-of-The-Art F/X
Review: Was going into this movie thinking it had to be corny. My opinion of awell made sci-fi/horror flick would be something like "Blade Runner" or"Dark City". And of course the filmit mostly mirrors, "From Dusk TillDawn". The F/X in "Blade" are stateof the art. And the AC-3 surroundsound is in the top 10. I was mostpleasently surprised by this film. For the dynamic soundtrack alone, itis a "Must-Have" DVD. BUY IT!
