Summary: when you try too hard to be funny, you get this.
Review: there's a fine line between actually being funny and trying to be funny. this movie tried entirely too hard and failed. i'm one of those easily amused people. i can find something humorous in just about anything, but this movie honestly put me to sleep. i give it 2 stars for effort.

Summary: BITING COMEDY
Review: If anybody could have made "Dracula" funny it is Mel Brooks and Leslie Nielson, and they scored big with this. If you like to laugh, watch it.

Summary: "Fang"tastic!
Review: Only Mel Brooks could take the horror story of Bram Stoker's Dracula and make it into a Laugh-till-ya-pass-out movie. Leslie Nielson is the most hilarious Dracula to date! I highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good laugh.

Summary: The biggest dissapointment ever

Summary: Failed Attempt at Humor
Review: Dracula: Dead and Loving It was a feebele attempt at spoofing the movie Bram Stoker's Dracula. Many of the jokes have been included in Mel Brooks's previous movies. The slap stick humor was predictable and not up to the usual good level of a Brooks film.

Leslie Nielsen seems perfect for the role of a comedic Dracula. However, not even he can save this bad script. I realize that a Mel Brooks film is not intended to be a cerebral exercise. The humor is intentionally low brow. Dracula doesn't even manage to get up to the low brow level.

There was a lot of potential in this theme. This movie comes up way short in delivering anything more than one or two laughs.

Summary: Brooks' makes a companion for "Young Frankenstein"
Review: I think just about every person I've every spoken to about Mel Brooks has told me the same think:"My favorite is "Blazing Saddles!" or "I love "Young Frankenstein!" But this is one you'll never hear anyone mention.(To some people that's a good thing!) I was surpised to see what other viewers thought of this movie. I assumed everyone HATED it! But this is the kind of film you'd expect from Mel Broks, the man who brought you "Spaceballs",or "High Anxiety". A silly crazy spoof! The only way the enjoy this movie is to sit back and relax! It's not a masterpiece! It's a light hearted comedy! Good for some laughs! The mirror scene at the end will induce the biggest laughs!

Summary: Absolute Genius
Review: I first saw a clip of this film on a movie chart show and I knew there and then that I had to have it. The directing is superb as is the script. This film is one of the best spoofs I have ever seen, in second would be airplane II the sequal. The acting in this is perfect and I would thouroughly recommend it to anyone. Well Done all envolved.
