Rating: Summary: Howling III: The Marsupials Review: The Howling III is so bad it's good; not extremely good though. The dialogue is terrible, but what do you expect from a horror movie. The characters however are funny and memorable. The plot is really ridiculous but it ends up telling a fairly good story. The werewolfs look so fake and stupid it's funny.I only liked the story and characters basically.(SPOILERS)The scene where the woman werewolf gives birth to the baby wolf was so sick; it crawled up her body in a little pouch.I do enjoy the ending to these Howling movies though;this one was really good. The race is on as a colony of marsupial werewolfs attempts to outwit and outlast their human counterparts in the offbeat horror film "Holling III : The Marsupials."Long ago, the now-extinct marsupial wolf (a.k.a. Tasmanian Tiger) roamed the Australian Outback. Today, a werewolf colony that has descended from these marsupials has taken over the land. This race for survival is on as the humans struggle to contain these out of control creatures.(5/10)"a silly, semi-spoof of werewolf movies" -- James Kendrick, Q NETWORK FILM DESK
Rating: Summary: The Funniest Howling Review: This is distinguished as the funniest Howling. It is a horror/comedy, and I like those. Who says the macbre is humorless? It is also the only Howling rated PG13. But don't let that confuse you. The gore gauge is on. Nudity has charcterized the Howling, and in here it is only very brief. (...) Again, a lot of campy comedy moments. The story is about a female werewolf and her life. Here, the werewolf effects are probably intentionally campy. The Howling sequels are a really love it or hate affair. I'm with the few saying, "Hey, these Howling series is some of the only werewolf movies out there. You have to like them because of that." I also question the sincerity of the audience- they seem like mainstream movie fans you got the Howling movies without being a dedicated horror fan. The Howling sequels are awesome. Don't be fooled by the fools.
