Summary: an involving and moving film
Review: i absolutely loved this movie! i had read all of anne rice's vampire chronicles, and i thought that brad pitt played an excellent Louis...tom cruise was great as the self-absorbed brat prince...and i was throughly pleased with antonio banderas as armand, tho in the book armand is russian with red hair...but that's alright..i don't think antonio would've looked good w/red hair...nonetheless, everyone was excellent in their roles and kirsten dunst was a truly horrifying (in a good way) claudia...she was the perfect little tortured princess...this movie deserves more than five stars!!

Summary: An Excellent Dark Movie.
Review: When i first sat down to see this, i expected a boring 2 hour B movie. But after i had seen the first ten minutes, i realized that this may be an excellent movie. Cruise and Pitt handles their roles superb as the evil Lestat and the tormented Louis. I haven't read the book but i think, after this, i maybe will.

Summary: Beautiful---Left me wanting more
Review: Okay, it's not as good as the novel---ashame they had to cut so much out. The acting is excellent except for Antonio Banderas who seems to be playing a caharicature of a vampire while the other actors really breathed life into the undead roles. I thought the end of the movie was a perfect way to end a movie where the ending of the book was the perfect way to end the book. I don't think the book's ending would have packed the same jolt at the end of the film, and the film's ending would have been too overdone for the novel. I had to view the movie as a movie on its own & stop comparing it throughout to the novel. They're both great. Who would have thought Cruise would make such a great Lestat?

I hope they do make a movie version of "The Vampire Lestat"---although, I think that would be better as a television miniseries----that way they wouldn't have to cut so much out.

Summary: Wonderful cast-- every actor had exactly the right part.
Review: It was more than the classic vampire movie with two of the hottest male stars in Hollywood, Brad Pitt as Louis and Tom Cruise as the seductive and evil Lestat. Add a bit of neck biting, head slashing, blood, and the settingof eighteenth~nineteenth century New Orleans and Paris, and voila! You have yourself a classic that will leave you looking behind you to the shadows.

Summary: Deserves Praise And Respect.
Review: I watched this movie again after not seeing it for quite some time. Still a great movie from start to finish. Interview With the Vampire is almost flawless in all aspects. I think Tom Cruise delivered a great performance, and that this is his best movie. Kirstin Dunst also did a remarkable job in her part. This movie never slumps, nor loses its momentum the entire film--that's rare among most movies. A well done film that can be watched more than once and never disappoint. Recommended.

Summary: This movie captures you and will never let you go.
Review: The first time I watched it, I couldn't stop thinking about it all night! So, of course, I had to watch it again. It's wonderful and the cast is captivating. Anne Rice should be proud of the book she wrote and how easily and wonderfully it can be adapted into a movie.

Summary: I loved the movie
Review: It was a wonderful movie and a intense thriller but... once I saw the movie I automatically picked up the books once I started reading them I firgured out the rest of the movie it never really gives the book any credit at all the movie doesn't go by the book much for one cluadia madeline and louis live together for al\most a good year till their taken and another thing what happened to armand being only 17? he looked about a good thirty! it was a great movie though louis and claudia we played to almost perfecting not to mention lestat who was just awesome...

Summary: Fantastic
Review: I think that this movie is one of the greatest vampire movies ever made. The actual story line stays very close to the book and the way that the actors portrayed the characters is exqusite. The plot was captivating yet realistic.

Summary: How many languages can YOU say wow in?
Review: This was by far one of the coolest movies I have ever seen! Anne Rice is an excellent story writer and the girl who played Claudia was the most interesting child actor I've ever seen. Anne herself said that the child vampire Claudia was inspired by her own late child who died of a blood disease . Watch it, love it, own it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This movie supercedes all vampire movies!
Review: Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt were excellent not only in appearance but as the characters they portrayed. If you have not seen this beautiful movie then I suggest you do.
