Summary: Funny and scary
Review: This movie scared the crud out of me when I was little. I didn't realize at the time that it was supposed to be somewhat of a comedy as well. When I got older, I laughed at some of the very hilarious scenes. But, if you have children who are between 5 and 12, show them this movie just to scare them to death. Some people would say that is cruel, but I love having memories of myself lying in bed, unable to go to sleep because I thought there was a Gremlin in my closet. So please, whatever your age, enjoy this horror/comedy minor classic from the mid 80's!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Pretty good but to scary for small children.
Review: Well not really a horror film this film still has some pretty grim pieces in it which may not be very good for small children(mainly the infamous microwave scene). But other then that this film is quite fun and has a few good laughs. It is mainly a fantasy film about a boy that gets a mysterious pet for christmas. He is also told three rules which I am sure you know(if you don't just watch the film they tell you quite a few times).Well the rules are broken and the result is a bunch of mean little creatures that terrorize a town. Then the boy,Billy is his name, teams up with his pet and his girlfriend to stop them.A pretty good story and a good film.

Summary: A 1980s Classic!
Review: I was just a young teenie when »Gremlins« came out and turned into a huge success. I enjoyed it very much back then, and today, I still enjoy watching this Classic once in a while. It has just everything that a film should have. Excitement, thrills, love, friendship, evil versus good, and not least: humour! Furthermore, »Gremlins« is very well made.

Don't miss this film! It's one of those that you simply have to have seen. A true classic!!

Summary: A Christmas Classic Not To Be Missed!
Review: Looking for a great Christmas movie? Well look no further than the movie "Gremlins." It's not exactly a "family" movie, but it will tickle your funny bone as well as give you an occasional "heart-jumping-through-your-stomach" experience. It's not the scariest movie or the funniest, but it sure does beat the heck out of some other Christmas movies that convey the message, "Oh, Santa I believe in you now!" or "Oh now I know the true meaning of Christmas!" It is surely a great Christmas movie.(I would suggest a PG-13 rating for language and strong violence, but I can't complain about that because when it was made the PG-13 rating hadn't completely been established.)

Summary: Gremlins
Review: I think this movie is pritty darn good. It had very good Gremlinpuppets. It's funny when the gremlins were in the movies and blew up.It would be a good ideafor a Grimlins 3 movie. But I think Grimlins 2was better then the first.

Summary: There just might be a Gremlin in your house
Review: An inventor is trying to sell one of his new inventions when he spots a kind of animal that he's never seen before. He buys it for his son as a pet, but the seller warns him about this new pet. Keep it out of the bright lights, don't let it get wet, and most of all, don't feed it after midnight. There's no telling what will happen if the new owners break any of these rules.

"Gremlins" is a classic horror movie. It has great special effects, an engaging plot, and some classic scenes such as when all the Gremlins are watching Snow White in the theater, and when Gizmo goes to the rescue. I recommend anybody to get "Gremlins."

Summary: still fun and hip
Review: ever wanted to throw a pet in the microwave? it's gross fun (with Judge Reinhold AND Hoyt Axton, no less) if you don't think about it. rather obvious satire (suprisingly produced by one of its biggest targets) and a rather crude one at that.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: No water, no light, no food after midnight...
Review: Gremlins was the movie to see back when it came out, at the time I was only four but somehow I convinced my mom to take me to see it. I had nightmares for weeks. But it was worth it. The story about a unique Christmas gift with only a few rules to follow is one of my favorites, and who doesn't love the cute, funny antics of that innocent little Mogwi, Gizmo?

The gremlins were hilarious in their mischievous invasion of town. And their deaths were just plain gross. But that was half the fun. The best part, however, was Gizmo, he made the movie. Parents might want to watch this one first before letting really small children sit down in front of the tube, it might just be a little too intense for the wee ones. Anyone over 7 should be able to handle it though, but be prepared to check under the bed, in the closet, and in every conceivable crevice before your child will let you turn out the lights after watching this. In my opinion this is a kiddie horror movie, that's just as fun to watch now as it was back in 1984. A great addition to any video collection and one that is sure to have repeated viewings. But remember to follow the rules...

Summary: Funny light horror film
Review: This is a light, funny chiller about an exotic pet gone bad - a Mogwai- that becomes evil on Christmas after very specific rules are broken. There are good special effects and physical comedy - it makes the perfect dark Christmas movie. Incidentally, this and Indiana Jones & The Temple of Doom were the films that forced the MPAA to begin the PG-13 rating. It does seem a bit dated, though, since its 1984 release.

Summary: Wow: Magical, Witty, Fun, and Thought-Provoking
Review: I must say, this is a real treat for all ages! I thoroughly enjoy comedy that isn't funny, so this movie really hit the spot. I'm also a incurable nut for cute gimmicky creatures who say charming lines and make adorable little faces. How marketable! Not to mention the fact that disgusting, sensless, slimy violence is funny and advances the plot tremendously. Wow, what a ride this one is!

I once wrote Kellogg's and asked them if they would be interested in my idea for "Gremlin's cereal" where you would eat little mugwai flakes and cocoon-like marshmallow treats. They didn't bite, but something tells me we have a winner waiting here folks! (Just don't eat it after midnight...hehehe, those clever film makers! )

Get this moving, fun-for-the-whole-family tale now and order the ground-breaking "Gremlins 2" while you're at it. If you thrive on wasting chunks of your life, you won't be disappointed!
