Rating: Summary: Swearing, abusive doll...is very funny! Review: This is funny. The "Chuckey" doll just keeps swearing and trying to kill people! He's a evil little thing! This would suit people aged 11-25. Not for (1) People aged 1-10 (2) People aged 26-101 (3) People older than 101. Funny, very funny!
Rating: Summary: I Loved It! Review: chucky rules! i thought this sequal almost equal to the first child's play. even though its the same plot as chucky tries to posess andy's body there are still a lot of surprises. this movie kept me on the edge of my seat and i would diffently recommend it to anyone who is a chuky fan.
Rating: Summary: Better than the first... Review: Chucky's back in what is a very similar plot which continues not so long from the first film. There are far more enjoyable moments in this film and it's even more comical. If you liked the first you simply MUST get this!
Rating: Summary: Almost as good as the first! Review: When this film was due to be released in the early 90's I thought to myself cynically "Hmm better leave this alone" but I was hugely surprised by Child's Play 2. Alex Vincent reprises his role as the traumitized Andy. Now with foster parents Alex is hoping to forget about Chucky for good. Plenty of tongue in cheek humour and jumps like the first one but the plot is starting to weaken somewhat. Chucky was burnt to death and shot to pieces at the end of it's predecessor, so why did the factory remake the doll? A silly thing to do don't you think? Well, apart of this fans of the Child's Play series will not be disapointed and will forget about the loose plotline at the beginning. Overall a good comeback sequel, just as scary as the first.
Rating: Summary: Great DVD film Review: This movie was great on DVD, better than the VHS version. The only thing that was disappointing was that they didn't have the extra footage shown as on TV. It had great sound, picture, and the film had spectacular suspense together with special effects. The score is an "A" because, Revell used the music with the factory including the doll...Great work with the violins...Great film to see, and one of the Mothers Of All Sequels.
Rating: Summary: Great Movie! Review: This was awesome. The first Child's Play was an excellent horror movie, and this was a good follow-up. The added humor was okay. Towards the end of Child's Play 2, however, the acting seemed to get a little worse. The whole movie was still good, though.Alex Vincent (young Andy Barclay) did a great job acting, and he appeared in a few other movies, such as Wait Until Spring, Bandini. Too bad he didn't continue with his career.
Rating: Summary: Just as funny and entertaining as the first Review: Chucky gets resurrected after being torched by Andy and his mother, and he goes on a murderous rampage again in order to get the Andy again. Lots of scares and humour all the way. A worthy sequel.
Rating: Summary: As a sequel, this is perfect. Review: As a sequel, this movie is perfect. Here, Chucky is scary as hell, there is more bloody deaths, and Don Mancini put a little more of comedy in the script. The only thing I miss in this film, is the original cast from the first movie.
Rating: Summary: The best in the series and with a welcome sense of humor. Review: This was o.k. In fact some of the scenes in this film are drop down and catch your breath funny. And the story was cool with us finding out what happened after the original. Andy Barclay has just gotten over the fact that his mom was commited to a psycho ward and him being adopted by a family who want him to live with them. But everyone thinks he's nuts. Why? Well Charles Ray has finally found him. With a new body which he got from being rebuilt by a greedy toymaker who can't wait to unviel the new Good Guys Dolls. Chucky will find Andy and if he doesn't act like a good kid and hand his soul over, then Chucky is going to kill everyone Andy holds dear at the moment. But with the help of a fellow adoptive sister (who is eighteen to Andy's ten) he might just have a chance to escape with his life and end Chucky's second reign of terror. With a great sense of humor, numerous original death and the best finale in the series I highly recommend you get this film for your horror DVD (or cassete) library.
