Summary: Child's Play 2 rocks!
Review: This film is great! Very funny, gory and entertaining. Brad Dourif does a great job as Chucky, but I'm afraid to say that the only thing that keeps this film going is the terrific acting from Dourif and Alex Vincent, who plays Andy. Vincent does a great job as a child who is going through a very difficult time. Buy this now!

Summary: Decent
Review: Unlike the first (great) and the fourth (bad) this movie falls squarely in between somewhere.

After apparently being retrived from Andy's mom's fireplace, a greedy playpal's company orders the pint-sized serial killer rebuilt to salvage the corporation's understandably faltering Pr image. Once reborn, Chucky decides to track down andy and pickup where he left off.

Andy is sent to a foster home that looks like the parents rake in billions taking care of foster kids. Given their young age, and the realities of foster parent payment, one can only guess how they got the perfect house that Barbie must have built. It's difficult to pinpoint how many rooms this thing has, but it must dwarf the white house for space, and is too sterile and quiet for a child's haven.

Kyle, a perpetual foster kid, is Andy's new sidekick in the film. She is a streetwise young woman who does not take any garbage from anybody and ultimately helps Andy destroy Chucky.

Another problem I had with the film stems from the dommineering teacher. I never thought I would say this (and please note, I am not endorsing school violence in anyway) but congrats to Chucky for taking out Ms. Kettlewell after she completely humiliated Andy in the classroom in front of his peers. Granted, there is an inconsistency because the whole mess started with Chucky writing bad words on Andy's paper about the teacher, but she was just so unlikeable to begin with.

Summary: Better then the first one!
Review: I know that I gave Child's Play five stars (and that it verily desrves it); however part two, i.e., Child's Play 2~Alex Vincent is even better. Chucky can here become even more diabolical and his evil sees no bounds as he terrorizes the Alex and all the people around him. The special effects are a bit better then in the first one (probably a bigger budget) and the acting is not quite as cheesy. However I did not expect a Heston like performance and being the genre that it is, i.e., slaher flicks , they do a comendable job and stay awya from the most tedious and boring slaher lines or plot twists.

Review: Even though this movie was gross, it is still my favorite movie in the whole world.

Summary: Best in the series?
Review: This may just be the best out of all four Child's Play movies. Chucky seems a lot more "alive" than in the first one, and he has some pretty amusing moments, and not all tongue-in-cheek like "Bride of Chucky" was. Like the "official" reviewer dude says, the ending is the big payoff. The factory scene is definetly one of the most lavish horror locations I have seen. But, the acting is very poor, Andy's entire foster-family is a bunch of wet-washcloths but Andy Barclay's actor does a pretty good job at upholding a traumatized personality. I seriously recommend this to anyone who has seen and liked the other movies.

Summary: The Chuck's 2nd opus is killer!
Review: The little one's back in " Child's Play 2 ", a very promising sequel to a horror classic! The beginning sequence in this film is incredibly eventfull. Very commercial opening, very exciting. And the rest of the film, while not as compelling as horror master--Tom Holland's original hug-buddy-gone-mad & bad flick, is still a hell of a ride!

I can't see how some one would be bored or non-amused by this horror flick. The acting by little Alex Vincent is perfect. The plot concerns the GOOD GUY doll company re-building the Chucky doll, THAT WAS A BIG MISTAKE! Chucky's powers end up sending one company fella flyin' threw a glass window, and others in the dark hearing mysterious footsteps...wonder who that could be. It just so happens, the lights come on and the mad snuggle-friend has LEFT THE BUILDING. He ends up finding Andy, using mystique-horror villain sencors to find him, like previous horror icons like The Mummy, Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, Michael Myers, etc. etc. I'm not really poking fun, its really a great thing that these characters have these mystique qualities, HORROR MOVIES are SUPPOSE to be scarier and more mysterious than real life is ever suppose to be. Anyway, back to " Child's Play 2 ", Chucky finds Andy, causing all kinds of trouble, his foster father believes the kid's been eating to many fruit-loops with his Monstervision marathons. The Chuck ends up chasing Andy and Kyle, a teen girl (who would later appear in Body Snatchers) around in a toy factory, with all kinds of maze-fun and gore-galores, fun it sure is. If you've not yet seen this snuffle-and-buffle killer doll opus with our favorite snuffle-and-buffle killer doll himself, Chucky, I suggest you pick it up and have ONE HELL OF A MONSTER MASH!

P.S. Also pick up the original classic and Parts 3 and " Bride Of Chucky. " You could find yourself saying " Its only a movie, but that's what these characters in these movies say."

Summary: freinds till the end rember
Review: no child's play will ever beat the number one ,part 2 is a beauitful second sequel explaining the problems with the child when he has forgotten about chucky from part 1. But from the factory chucky had been reborn again to come after poor little andy , when chucky find's out where andy is living , chucky decided to restart from start 1 . This film is a must have as it has all the laughs in the world and will never be forgotten.

Summary: Can't hold a candle to the 1st
Review: It is true that sequels are inferior films. And this is a perfect example. I mean how can you watch the second and then watch this one. What a let down. Chucky 1 scared the white off me, this one was too cheesy, except the end. I think way they killed him in this one was very horror movieish. very good ending. Though, Chucky did not need any squels!
