Summary: love it or hate it
Review: this is a strange film, but i love it, FOR THE GORE.

I live in the UK this film was released there in 2000 on DVD, very very bad picture quality and sound, but it contained all the gore.

2002 it was out again buy another company, great widescreen format and 5.1 dolby sound, but all the gore was cut out.

I,m very glad to see that universal are realeasing it in the US in widescreen, fingers crossed it contains all the best bits, it should do, the goodtimes one did. back to the movie, if you've been dead for the past 20 years then i should tell you that michael is not in this one, nor is Dr lomis.

In a nutshell some bloke make's halloweem mask's with a special badge on the back that contains a bit of rock from those silly brick's here in the UK.

Anyway when the kidd's or anyone who is watching the crazy tv commercial, and wearing the mask, fall to the ground and have snake's and spiders coming out of them.

Lot's of gore which i love. Woman with hole in face and big spider come's out, man in hospital has face snapped, "They cut that bit out in the UK".

Also did you know that the guy in the grey suit who blow's himself up in his car was michael from halloween 2, "just thought i pass on that bit of info",

So it won't win an oscar, but who cares, it's just good fun, as long as they leave in the GORE. This will be the 3rd copy i have on DVD, "how sad is that"

Summary: One of My Favorites of the Series!!!
Review: Even though Halloween 1 and 2 are probably the best films out of the entire Halloween series, I have to say that I really enjoyed Halloween III: Season of the Witch! Even though Michael Myers does not make an appearance in this film, it is definitely worth trying out.

The story revolves mainly around the Silver Shamrock company which makes novelty items. The owner of the company comes up the diabolical plan to teach children a lesson about the REAL meaning of Halloween. He advertises "special" Halloween masks that the children flock to get. On Halloween night, a commercial runs on television that will ultimately kill all of the children, melting their heads and making various insects spill out. There is also a side story in which robots, who work for Silver Shamrock, go around doing anything necessary (including killing) to make sure that the secrets of the Silver Shamrock company remain hidden. A doctor and a murdered toyshop owner's daughter become wrapped up in this plan and try to put a stop to it. The ending will shock you!

I really enjoyed this film because it was very interesting and kept me glued to the screen the entire time. You will also find yourself singing along to the infectious jingle that plays everytime the Silver Shamrock commercial airs. Halloween III is a good departure and break from the Michael Myers saga. I would highly recommend this film!!!!

Summary: Wow it's to be rereleased!!!
Review: Here I was searching Ebay for this great movie. Yes, I said "great" movie. Those of you somewhat familiar with my reviews know I'm a bit on the harsh side when ranking movies and it comes as some surprise that this one got 4 stars. I'd actually say 3 and 1/2 but this thing of course doesn't have that function, so I rounded up rather then down. They teach you to round the halves up in math...OK!!! the review...yeah. I'm not gonna give a synopsis as you guys likely won't read it anyway and it's already been done for me, despite the fact I would have worded it differently it gives you the basic idea. I will say that the summary makes the movie come off kinda cheesy, but I assure you it plays out well on screen. This movie is a bit closer related to Carpenter's Prince of Darkness than it is the Myers movies and I feel it is a nice escape from it. Unfornuately audiences weren't won over and I'm sure it will reflect on people ranking this review helpful or not. Not because they think this review stinks, but because their opinion differs. I feel compelled to defend this movie though so here I am doing so. I recommend it and suggest people who've not seen it in some time to give it a second try.

Summary: 3 more days to HALLOWEEN HALLOWEEN!
Review: John Carpenter and Debra Hill never wanted to make a sequel to HALLOWEEN. So much so they had problems writing HALLOWEEN 2, and came up with it only under the threat it would be made with or without them. So when HALLOWEEN 3 came around they proposed a radical idea ... "Let's do a HALLOWEEN-themed movie every year, and they have nothing to do with Michael Meyers!" Well ... it was a good idea, but it made less money than expected so Halloween 4 saw THE RETURN oF MICHAEL, and the rest is history.

But give the movie a chance! It's a coy salute to INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS (also set in mythical Santa Mira!) mixed with some old fashioned paganism and the spirit of the holiday! You get the paranoid tale of a doctor and a daughter who investigate the murder of a mask seller and find that a horrible plot has been hatched to decimate the youth of America in a large scale Halloween TRICK that will give an evil warlock a lot of power. There is the plot in one ungodly long run-on sentence!

What's to like? The music is awesome as always, the mood is creepy, and you get to see Dick Warlock (Michael of HALLOWEEN 2) unmasked as a killer robot in a suit (corporate America!). Watch out also for HALLOWEEN alumna Nancy Loomis playing the good doctor's harpy ex-wife! There is no Michael, but he pops up on television quite a few times in a sly homage to the HALLOWEEN frenzy that followed the first of the series. So put out the lights, put on your Silver Shamrock mask, and get ready to enjoy the one Halloween movie that is different from all the rest!

Summary: Good, But no Michael Myers Movie
Review: As I watched this movie I could see why people didnot like this movie. There is no Michael Myers to be seen except when he is on the t.v. in the movie. But this movie is still good. It has a weird plot but is fresh. They should have named this movie MASKS OF HORROR. Not Halloween 3 season of the witch. But oh well. It's there falt it failed. Anyway the movie is about this weird guy who wants to take over the world by putting little magic chips in masks and killing everyone. And it's up two people to stop him. A cop I guess and some woman who goes with him. It is kinda creepy because there are these robots that help the bad guy and weird guts come out of them. And there are some jumpy scenes that try to make you jump but it did'nt work on me. The death scenes are kinda fake but graffic. Like in one scene this lady is trying to figure out what the chip is and she ends up getting fried. There is also a scene where a guy gets crushed by a car.And you could hear his bone crack. So this movie is alright. If you're expecting a Micheal Myers movie with alot of scares then I'm Not so sure if you should see this. But if you're just looking for a good John Carpender movie then get this.
GOOD LUCK!

Summary: A good horror flick
Review: Too bad it confuses the 'small minds' without the mean guy in the mask.

Summary: Halloween 3: Nothing to do with Michael Myers
Review: Now..that really makes no sense, does it? If you want a break from Michael Myers, then don't watch Halloween movies (makes sense, huh?). I couldn't bare to watch the whole thing because, honestly, it sucked. It really didn't seem to have a plot at all, and it's mainly about some guy who cheats on his wife... woo hoo, not exactly Halloweeny, is it?
Watch it if you really have NOTHING else to do... I have to say that it is, indeed, horrible.

Summary: This is the worst!
Review: This is the worst movie John Carpenter has ever made. How do you make HALLOWEEN 1&2 with Myers, but bring him back in 4? I wouldn't buy this movie. I can't call it a Halloween movie. I wouldn't add it to my collection!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Terrible!
