Rating: Summary: This movie is wretched. Review: How on Earth the movie-makers decided to forego a continuation of a great storyline and make this crud out to be Halloween 3, I'll never know. Perhaps if it had been made as an original, and not "part 3". On second thought... not even then. The story itself is horrid, not scary in the least, and you walk away feeling cheated.
Rating: Summary: Halloween? Review: Let's get real people. This movie had no right to be under the "Halloween" name. It should have just been called something else. When I watch a "Halloween" movie, I want to see Michael Myers, not a bunch of killer halloween masks. If you are a "Halloween" fan, you could very well skip this and move on to part 4.I only got this movie to complete my "Halloween" collection.
Rating: Summary: GREAT! Review: I gave it 4 stars because it was VERY good. I would of gave it 5 but for the fact that it kinda "BROKE" the tradition of michael myers messed it up. But to me, it was Very good, good actors, good plot. I would suggest ANYONE buy this, you wont regret it.
Rating: Summary: Halloween 3 ? Review: Unfortunately, John Carpenter made a big mistake when he named this movie Halloween 3. Audiences did not take too kindly to this film due to the lack of Michael Myers and the fact that Halloween 3: Season of the Witch did not relate at all to the previous Halloween movies. I think this film would have been more successful if the title had just been "Season of the Witch". But let's look at what was good about this movie. It is a good murder mystery in a way which includes some super natural events, the movie is tense at certain points, and the ending is surprising. However, I only give this movie 3 stars because I have seen better horror movies than "Season of the Witch" and I think John Carpenter should not have ended here with the Halloween series.
Rating: Summary: Horrible! Review: This movie is horrble. Basically the fact that it has nothing to do with Michael it has a bad plotline and bad acting. The only thing is good is it ended short.
Rating: Summary: It's a different and (somewhat) original Halloween flick. Review: Now the original "Halloween" is my favorite film of all time. "Halloween II" was crafty as it picked up the instant the original left off. In John Carpenter and Debra Hill's eyes, Michael Myers was left burning in Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, so they tried something different. "Halloween III: Season of the Witch" would be considered an in-name-only sequel. It really has nothing to do with the other films in the series. A somewhat original film, it deals with manic mask manufacturer Conal Cochran (Dan O'Herlihy) who plans to kill millions of innocent children on Halloween with the help of his Stonehedge-rigged masks. You see, when the kids watch a special subliminal commercial, a signal is sent to the mask, which turns the kiddies heads into a whole shabang of snakes, bugs and other nasties. It's up to a Doctor (Tom Atkins) and a woman (Stacey Nelkin) to stop his plan. Throw in some robots, a ripped off head and a woman whose face explodes and you get SEASON OF THE WITCH! This is not the worst film of the series, but it is not the best either. Most of the characters I could care less about and the music is extremely annoying. Some nifty effects though! For die-hard Halloween fans only.
Rating: Summary: it's different Review: ok so it doesn't have michael and it is misleading us by saying halloween 3 but oh well the movie itself is pretty good i mean it's better than a lot of the other cheap slashers that came out in it's time.
Rating: Summary: Beware Halloween III Review: Halloween II was bad. Halloween III is even worse. Not because it doesn't relate to the previous two, but because it features one of the worst villians in the history of the screen. The owner of a Halloween mask company wants to murder millions of children on Halloween night by planting microchips in the masks that will fry the tykes. Why? What is his motivation? What would he have to gain? Is he seeking revenge because some kids toilet-papered his house and egged his car? Also, what's the deal with a Stonehenge rock being used in this diabolical scheme? Does any part of the movie make sense? No.
Rating: Summary: False sequel...misleading title Review: If you think Halloween 3 is a sequel to Halloween 2, then I am afraid that you are in for a disappointment!! This movie has absolutely nothing in this world to do with Halloween or Michael Myers. It is a morbid disgusting movie about brainwashing children with a computer chip hidden inside Halloween masks. Why they titled this movie Halloween 3 is beyond my comprehension. What it does is interfere with the sequence numbers of the Halloween series. Don't waste your money on this movie..it is not worth it!
Rating: Summary: HALLOWEEN 3! IT'S BORING Review: John Carpenter made the Stupidest movie ever made! No Myers, No DR. Loomis & No Laurie Strode! This SUX!!!! Big Time!
