Summary: Great sci-fi movie
Review: When I went to see this film I excepted a stupid lame Kevin Williamson stlye film. But it was wonderful. I can't beleive some people called it lame.

Summary: The best film since scream and scream 2
Review: The faculty is one of the greatest films of all time. It out does scream for plot and originality. I was seriously on the edge of my seat the entire time. Despite being fairly herrific this film still manages to send shivers down ones spine the gore enhances the film no end and you start to wonder if this is vying for goriest film ever. Trust me you must see this film.

Summary: The Faculty will rock you!!
Review: I have never been this hyped for a release. I love this movie! I saw it five times in the theater!! It never has a slow moment(thanks to Robert Rodriegezs' great editing). And for all those who claimed it ripped off Body Snatchers--why don't you go SEE the movie. I thought the same thing. This film is truly one of those rare events where the trailer is actually worse than the film!!

Summary: Best Of The Teen Thrillers!
Review: I think The Faculty is definitely the best of the teen thrillers movement since Scream. It's funny, scary with a great story and great acting as well. I've seen the movie 4 times and it's still as much fun as before. This is a Disney DVD so you can't exactly expect much. It has a good transfer and great sound, as it did in the theater. As usual, extras are SPARSE. Hopefully, we'll see a Collector's Edition from Dimension in the future.

Summary: A total rip-off....
Review: Everyone said how original this movie was. I don't think so. I liked this movie the first time....when it was called "Class of 1999". The Faculty totally ripped off a good movie by changing the menacing robot teachers to menacing alien teachers. I wish I could give this movie 0 stars. All I have to say about this movie is lame. Lame, lame, lame.

Summary: SCIENCE FICTION FUN!!
Review: When seeing this in theatres, i wasnt expecting anything special, but The Faculty was a really neat and funny movie. I dont need to explain the plot, its simple and anyone who hasnt seen it, should. If youve already seen it, see it again. Its enjoyable.

Summary: The best horror movie ever, fantastic cast and storyline
Review: I first saw "The Faculty" on a plane ride to London and was immediately hooked. I ended up watching it three times just on the plane ride. I thought each of the cast members gave an outstanding performance, and had a great chemistry. I saw some actors that I was already a fan of (Jon Stewart, Josh Hartnett, Elijah Wood, Usher Raymond), and found plenty of new favorites (Shawn Hatosy, Clea DuVall, especially, as well as Jordana Brewster, Laura Harris, and the entire cast). I loved the unraveling of the plot, and how it wasn't based on science fiction only, it also dealt with the average confused teenager. The friendships and relationships that develop between the characters add so much to the plot, making it more than just a horror movie. The concept of the aliens and how the kids were able to use thier talents and areas of knowledge figure out exactly who and what the aliens were was clever, and the script couldn't have been better. The movie made me laugh, scream, and even cry. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I strongly recommend this movie, and if I could give it six stars I would. The best movie I've ever seen.

Summary: Our teachers really are from outer space....
Review: The Faculty is an amazing film. Period. With enough swearing in it to make your mother get pissed off and a whole load of brilliant young actors (including Elijah Wood, Josh Hartnett and the sensational Clea DuVall), this is a film for keeps.
Six misfit teens that don't really fit in with each other end up having to join forces when they realize that their teachers really are psycho aliens from outer space! There's Casey (Elijah Wood), the Steven King-esque nerd, Delilah (Jordana Brewster) the cheerleader/newspaper editor, Stan (Shawn Hatosy) the jock who wants to focus on his grades, Stokely (Clea DuVall) the goth, possibly a lesbian and the fountain of all knowledge on science fiction, Mary Beth (Laura Harris) the new girl from Atlanta, and Zeke (Josh Hartnett) the bad-boy who's the school's local drug dealer.
This film is pretty scary on the first viewing, and pretty gruesome at bits, but in a good way! The best performance out of the senior members of the cast has to be that of Robert Patrick as the Coach. ("I've always wanted to do that...." To understand it, watch the film!)

Summary: First the Teachers, Students, Town, World
Review: A star studded cast stars in this sci-fi/horror send off. Paying tribute to classic science fiction this film does an excellent job of starting fast and picking up speed.

A small town school that rests on the merits of its football team becomes the target of an alien invasion. Symbiotic aliens (mistakenly called parasites) take control of members of the school faculty. From there they move on to assimilating the student body and the local authorities. Soon it seems as if the whole town has been taken over except a small group of students.

While trying to maintain their own identity, the students realize that if they do not act offensively the invasion will quickly spread across the state and then the world. Their only hope lies in stopping the invasion now.

The story, while not completely original, comes right out and says it is a tribute to Heinlein's The Puppet Masters. But this is not just a remake. An extra dimension is added. It could be possible that the public is the target of a huge conspiracy aimed at making them more accepting of the idea of aliens and extraterrestrial life. This film also maintains a level of action and suspense without turning sappy at some point as so many do.

Definitely a fun movie with a lot going for it and very little against it. Check it out.
