Summary: The scariest horror movie ever made is better than ever.
Review: After a long wait, the 25th Anniversary Edition of THE EXORCIST is here! It was well worth the wait. Not only does this disc contain two very cool commentary tracks from William Friedkin and William Peter Blatty, but there are so many extras, it will make your head spin (pun intended!). The featurette, The Fear of God: The Making of the Exorcist, is almost worth the price of this DVD alone. It is a very insightful documentary on the making of the film, that has a running time of over 70 minutes. This is a must have for fans of the film.

Summary: Horrible disturbed & involved I ever
Review: When I saw this movie first time I really got mad and I felt that I am one of those characters who has got a terror in the film. Moreover, I never seen any film compatible to this film

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Not very scary, but disturbing
Review: I guess I don't understand why this movie was voted scariest film ever made, because it was not. The film contained odd scenes and things of freakish nature, but it was not terrifying. I will admit that it was disturbing at some places. A young girl possesed, well that in itself is disturbing, but if you are looking for a scare, don't look here. The movie was great though, a little less than I expected, but still it was good.

Summary: This film is by far the scariest film around, even today
Review: WOW, this is my fav film and it will stay like this for ever! The tale of possesion that shocked millions. COOl but be careful a film like this can Fu** you up!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Absolutely the most disturbing film I have ever seen
Review: Twenty five years and countless reviews later, The Exorcist still has the power to de-stabilize most people who feel they have delt with the issues that the film raises, namely demonic possesion. If you are of a nervous disposition or are not sure if you believe in the forces of darkness BEWARE!!!

Summary: I don't want to watch it again!
Review: This is THE scariest movie I have ever, ever seen. This video is very shocking, and gave me nightmares of seeing the little girl in my sleep. The story is decent, and what I liked best about the film is that they pulled out all the stops. They didn't cut out anything because of "bad taste". This is a classic, and the 5 stars I give this one too is directly related to the fact that this is too terrifying to watch. Ironic, huh?

Summary: The Ultimate Horror Film...
Review: I've seen quite a number of Horror films in my past. The majority I found quite cheesy or extremely too bloody and gruesome. However, when I saw the Exorcist I was truly scared. It had the impact that a true Horror film should. First, it left me scared to walk around the house and I remained scared for a couple days everywhere I went. Secondy, is caused me to look more into the subject of exorcism. For these reasons I say this is the greatest Horror movie of all time. I don't think there are many good horror films that are in a way believable or thought provoking as this one was. If anyone knows of anymore that do this, please e-mail me.

Summary: It was the scariest but very realistic
Review: A movie that will mark me all my life. I have seen it not a long time ago and my first reflection was to never see it again. But to have this movie at home would be an honour. I always wondered if the character that represented the little was traumatised by her role.

Other than that I'm glad that I finally saw it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Movie rates 4+ stars, extras turn it into a 5 star
Review: An excellent movie, in its own respect. Should definitely be seen by (open-minded) Christians, especially ones who know someone that acts violent / strange for unexplainable reasons. If you liked Frank Peretti's "This Present Darkness", you will probably like the movie.

The DVD extras really round out the movie. With 75+ minutes of interviews (not including the commentaries), it is worth owning this classic. It is in the top 20 grossing films, for good reason.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: What was so frightening about this?!
Review: I thought this movie ver much draged. I know in many ways people find it a classic, but I just the plot was dragging. Some parts I admitt were entertaining
