Summary: Suprisingly, better and funnier than the original!
Review: Walken is hilarious, it has more action and more humor than the first, and while much less self-serious, it actually engages you to the end. Worth looking at!

Summary: Very entertaining and a different kind of horror movie
Review: While I haven't seen the original "Prophecy", I really liked this movie. Christopher Walken never disappoints and Russell Wong is a favorite. He and Jennifer Beals looked good together. I'm guessing this will be another cult classic. I wish Russell could be in the next chapter, however, because I never tire of looking at that beautiful man.

Review: While it was a good movie, it didn't seem to have the "punch" of the original. I found it choppy in places. It's worth seeing but make sure you see the "The Prophecy" first or you'll be lost in places.

Review: While the first film was far more serious and engaging, and had much more subtext and meaning to it, The Prophecy II is short but sweet and to the point. It keeps itself from becoming a rehashing of the first film and keeps you interested with outstanding performances and an original storyline, leaves an open ending for another installment.
