Summary: One of the stupidest movies ever
Review: Pet Sematary is about a family that moves into town and at first things are normal. Then a kid gets hit by a car a the father tries to save him.The next night the boys ghost appears and shows him the sematary. Then his kids cat dies and he burys it in the pet sematary and it comes back. His son gets hit by a car and dies so he burys him in the sematary. He comes back and kills. I found this movie stupid that a 2 year old can be the killer. And the father is an idot because after he kills his son and seems like he learned his lesson he burys his wife and she comes back to life but with a vengence. The movie has bad makeup and just enough blood. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because of a cool death and some scary moments.By the way Zelda is not scary just boney.

Summary: Where is Oz the Gweat and Tewible???
Review: Compared to some of the other movie versions of Stephen King's books, Pet Sematary does keep some of the scarier elements in the movie, but it is missing one of the greatest things in the book. Oz the Gweat and Tewible, the often referred to enigmatic character in the book is not even mentioned in the movie. This "character" who to Louis is a cruel god and to Rachel, is a reminder of her sister Zelda (Oz the Gweat and Tewible was what she called a picture that hung outside her bedroom) is partly what makes the book so chilling. Even though this "character" along with many others, was taken out of the movie, their are at least two refrences in the movie that i could find, and fans of the book will should be able to find them. The other thing that sticks out in the movie is Victor Pascow, he is almost comical in the movie, and appears more then he does in the book. Although this movie does have its bad points, their is enough in it to be enjoyable and interesting. As a side note, the little boy who played Gage is also in another horror movie, Wes Cravens New Nightmare.

Summary: Don't bury grandma
Review: Pet Sematary was one of my favorite King books. When I heard that a movie was being made based upon it, I was worried like some other reviewers were.

I think this movie has been given a bum rap. It's well cast and moves at a nice pace. The locations and sets fit perfectly and it represents the book well.

One last thing...before condemning the characters as morons for trying to resurrect their loved ones, step back and think what you would do. Be honest with yourself. Even knowing that the dead come back tainted, you can't escape the thought that "the dead come back"! This makes the anguish AND the horror more palpable.

Summary: Great Book,Horrible Movie
Review: Sorry guys, but I really, really detest this movie. As I was reading the book, which is one of my favorites I was always thinking how if they made a movie out of it,it would probably be awful because they would do specific scenes one way instead of the correct way.Well, guess what? That's exactly what happened.Save yourself some money and just buy the book instead.

Summary: I don't want to be buried....
Review: In a Pet Semetary! Man! The thought of being able to bring back a dead pet would be very cool! But after seeing what a pet semetary is based on in Stephen King's mind!! NO Thank You! This movie was so scary. It's about a Man (Cade) Who kills his little kids cat and then buries the body in an Indian Burial Ground! Then brings the Cat back to life. (The cat came back the very next day, the cat came back, they THOUGHT he was a goner!) Makes you wonder about Zombies! Are they the original Souls brought back to life?

Summary: Very Good
Review: Im not exactly the type that can go through goryness. But for a horror (and GORY) movie, "Pet Sematary" was awesome. I felt what made the movie suspensful was the music and searching for the boy. I felt the most disturbing part was slicing Judd's ankle really deep. Theres just something about it that aches me. This movie ends bad. I feel this way because I was so curious to find out what happened to Ellie and her mother. This is really why I want to watch the sequel because Im bugged to find out what happens to the rest of the family. In a few sentences this movie is more gory than scary. Has a good story line, very good imagination (Of course. its by Stephen King!). Its very disturbing considering the icky and sad feeling when innocence died (the little cute boy and kitty). Id recommend seeing it if you don't care much of seeing blood and cuts and all that lovliness. A good horror movie.

Summary: a real tear jerker
Review: When writing or directing a children's film, far too often people find it necessary to dumb down work in order to cater to a young audience. Fortunately this is not the case with Pet Sematary, a film in which the story it presents is well crafted and intelligent, and appealing to both young and old audiences. In many ways the production could have gone dreadfully wrong. One can see where in the hands of a less talented writer or director the story could have become melodramatic, overly sentimental, or comical, yet Pet Sematary is a beautifully executed picture that rings true as a result of its naturalistic storytelling. Much of this is due to the credit of its fine cast. Frequently, child actors are employed to act "cute" onscreen, but there is not a young actor in this movie who does not give a performance of great depth. In fact, it can easily be argued that each one of these children exhibit greater skill than many adults currently working in the realm of cinema. But what is at the heart of Pet Sematary is a beautiful lyrical story about love, childhood, growth, and healing. There are moments in the film that are so genuinely touching the viewer's heart almost stops. This story is an absolute delight, and should be a must for everyone! 10/10

Summary: Amazingly scary!
Review: This movie is very intreging, and scary! All the acting is extraordinary! Especailly from little Miko Hughes (who I personally think is a supurb actor!) he was so young, but he did such a wonderful job. This movie will creep you out, and keep you up late at night..... wondering about your own dog. Oh,man! And Zelda! How horrifying was she? Wow! This movie has a sequal, but could never, ever live up to this movie.

Summary: A Great Movie
Review: I cannot believe how many people dislike this movie. I love this movie. First of all, everybody that ranks this movie as "The Worst Movie Ever" must've had their nose in the air while watching it. I watch this movie everytime it comes on and never get tired of watching it. A lot of yall say that the best actor in the movie was the actor that played Gage. I think the best actor in the movie is Dale Midkiff. He is one of the best actors in the world and I love to watch anything with him in it. He is a great actor and is very goodlooking too. :)

Summary: THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW SO BEWARE!
Review: This is absolutely one of the stupidest movies I have ever seen in my life. I admit that it did have some scary scenes but the plot was just stupid and the end of it was morbid. First Louis buries his son in the graveyard so that he will come back to life, then he kills his son. Then he buries his wife and she comes back to life and kills him. That's just really morbid in my opinion. It wasn't ALL bad though. Like I said, it did have some really scary scenes. And I thought that Dale Midkiff and Denise Crosby were pretty good together. You might enjoy it if you like stories with really morbid endings. But this is definitely not my type of movie.
