Summary: Outstanding!
Review: I think this is one of Kings best! It had all the suspense and thrill that you expect from a Stephen King flick with some interesting extras. The actors delivered a magnificent performance, especially Colme Feore! If you have 4 hours to spare one day, I highly recommend seeing "Storm Of The Century" and if your a fan of Stephen King, this is a must-see.

Summary: best work to date; DVD commentary by King is worth the buy
Review: I think Storm of the Century is King's best TV work to date (that's not saying much; I thought both The Stand and The Shining were too long and boring). Everything came together for this production (I still think King should be restricted to four, rather than six hours for his teleplays). What King needs to do is more original teleplays, something we haven't seen before.

And the DVD, man, picture and sound are great. The mini-series is split on both sides. I've always liked to listen to King talk (the banter between King and late-night hose Conan O'Brien is always funny, lively and interesting) and the DVD commentary doesn't disappoint. All King fans should get this disc, whether or not you liked the movie, because King is really a lot of fun to listen to.

Summary: Excellent movie and story
Review: Although I am not an avid Steven King fan, I found this movie keeping me on the edge of my seat. A definite must for anyone who enjoys a good thriller.

Summary: High Level of Biblical Accuaracy!
Review: Great show! Is the video an "uncut" version with more scenes? (I hope). We loved watching it, and were constantly interpreting scenes in light of the Bible, which King does an excellent job with! If only the evil had been resisted, it would have gone away! Why is this so costly, though?

Summary: SCARY
Review: I THINK STORM OF THE CENTURY IS VERY SCARY

Summary: Steven Kings best work !!!
Review: It keeps you on the edge of your seat from the moment that you first see the stranger in town to each event that unfolds. This movie and Steven King both deserve an Oscar.

Summary: The best King transfer to TV yet.
Review: This was an outstanding thriller. It was well acted and directed along with excellent sound and photography that added to the overall eerie ambience. Colm Feore was unforgetable as Andre Linoge, the mysterious and terrifying stranger whose arrival coincided with the worst snowstorm of the century in a small island town in Maine. This film should be an even better viewing experience in the video version with all the many commercials removed. I highly recomend watching this on a cold wintery night.

Summary: GREAT!
Review: Definitely one of King's best! I loved it. It kept me guessing the entire time.

Summary: The 'King' does it again!!!
Review: Colm Feore plays an excellent "villian", showing the small town that sometimes the worst evil is that which comes from within. For this movie, six hours is too long, waiting on the edge of your seat for the outcome, and, not long enough, not wanting the end to come. Great tension, not relying on action or horror, just suspense and psychological terror.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: scary movie for Stephen King fans
Review: Slow moving movie that will be enjoyed by all King fans and those who like a building up of the tension, as a small town begins to crack under increasing pressure from a demanding visitor who brings a smashing winter storm with him. The villain is very believeble, right down to his seaman's cap and smug smile.
