Rating: Summary: Nightmarish nostalgia Review: I first saw this movie when it aired on TV during the early 70's. It absolutely terrified me at that time; I was only 4. Seriously, for several years, I had nightmares about the Gargoyles in this movie. I've only seen it once since that first time and I'm thrilled that it's being released soon on DVD. I'm definitely adding this classic to my collection. I recommend it not only for nostalgiac reasons, but for those into true horror as well!
Rating: Summary: I LOVE THIS MOVIE Review: I HAVE WATCHED THIS MOVIE DOZENS OF TIMES AND IT JUST GETS BETTER. BERNIE CASEY AS THE GARGOYLE HAS A VOICE THAT SENDS SHIVERS UP MY SPINE. WHEN DIANNA IS READING THE STORY OF THE INCUBUS IT MAKES YOU WANT TO BE A STUNT DOUBLE AND PLAY HER ROLE. BELIEVABLE? NOT A CHANCE! EXCELLENT? YOU BET!
Rating: Summary: Then and Now Review: I heard the younger generation saying how scary Jeepers Creepers was, so I went and saw it. As the crowd shrieked and moaned I saw a remake or the 1972 T.V. Cult Classic Gargoyles. Seeing it as kid gave me chills and living on the gulf every sea-gull out at night was transformed into a winged beast coming to get me. Jeepers Creepers may have better costumes and special effects, but this classic has it beat hands down. I find you just can't improve on some things and sometimes everything new is just cheap remake.
Rating: Summary: One "devilishly" good movie! Review: I must have seen this movie about a million times and I still NEVER get tired of it (bought the VHS tape years ago)!!! The gargoyles' costumes are FABULOUS--especially the head [winged male] gargoyle's (played by Bernie Casey)-- who is 'frightfully' menacing! This movie will stand the test of time (in my book) because it has a CLASSIC "monster movie" feel to it and it evokes fantastical imagery. =:->=

Rating: Summary: Creepy movie Review: I saw this movie when I was a child, it scared the hell out of me. I saw it again at the age of 30, it still did. Ok some of the costumes were cheesy, the special effects were limited and the acting pretty much stunk, but that creepy music.....oh man. I thought this movie was psychologically scary. This is a timeless B movie classic.

Rating: Summary: Still Scares Me Review: I saw this one back in the 70's when I was little, and several times since..It still scares the pajesus out of me.
Rating: Summary: Terrifying B-Movie Review: I, like so many others, saw this movie as a child in the 70's with my two sisters and friends of the family, at a sleepover. Our screams kept waking up our parents and none of us have ever forgetten this classic! I can't wait to receive it and relive some good times with my sisters, some popcorn and a late night!
Rating: Summary: Loved it when I was a kid. Review: Like most of the other reviewers, I saw this movie on late night tv when I was a kid, and it fascinated me--maybe even scared me a bit, too. But as an adult, this film doesn't hold up. Actually, it's extremely "cheezy", to be kind. However, it offers an interesting premise, and would be a could candidate for a remake with a better story and bigger budget and more sensible production values. Anybody out there with a cool million? Let me know. I'd love to revamp the Gargoyles. Email me...if you dare. Let's get the production rolling.
