Summary: not even woth renting
Review: is this movie......what is the word? sure it is bloody and gross but there is no story line and it is boring thru out. what was the point? They tried to make it interesting with all the bloody scenes and the killings but it turned out to be stupid and really unwatchable. What was supposed to be a scary good movie turned out a bad, silly, movie.

Summary: Great FX
Review: This film will have you jumping out of your seat from the word go. The effects are out of this world and the surprises are non-stop. Geoffrey Rush gives a brilliant performance as Mr. Price. The stark and chilling sets leave you waiting for the next fright. The first 10 minutes of this film will have you hooked!

Summary: Not good but not bad either....
Review: The only thing that save this movie is if you have some "Resident Evil experience". Otherwise, too much gore, but the special effect is terrible. It is just a rip off of Vincent Price classic, too many violent but cannot beat the original version.

Summary: And you were expecting....?
Review: To the uninitiated, this may seem like just another in a seemingly endless series of teen-oriented slasher flicks. How many more Freddies and Jasons can we absorb? But nooooo, take it from me, that isn't the point here, although I will be the first to admit that the ending is a bitter disappointment. But along the road there, we get the most clever opening set-up scenario I've seen in a movie of this type, plus Geoffrey Rush's WONDERFUL tongue-in-cheek tribute to the inimitable Vincent Price. There are a few scenes that have the virtue of being inherently CREEPY without the slightest hint of violence or gore (especially the video tracking the spirit of the late, unlamented Dr. Vannacutt as he goes about his "work") as well as the to-be-expected gross-out shots. (If those mounted specimens in the basement don't give you bad dreams, you need to take it easy....)

It isn't "The Seventh Seal" - it wasn't meant to be, and it does a very good job for was it WAS intended to be: an honorable, updated tribute to the 50's Saturday matinee horror movie.

Summary: BEST MOVIE!
Review: House on Haunnted Hill is the best horror movie of the century. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Summary: Simply Great
Review: This movie is awesome. It may not be scary but it's excellent. The story is that of a resident evil game. Great......the guy who said there was no story must have seen something different. Definetly a must see.

Summary: Finally..... A horror movie that is actually scary!
Review: I am 18 years old and in my entire life I have never seen a horror movie at the movies that has actually scared me. I've seen just about every horror movie ever made and the best and scariest ones were made years before I was born. Then "The House From Haunted Hill" came along. It has some truly freaky images and genuine scares. It has great actors, (Geoffrey Rush even looks like Vincent Price) and is very well made.

Summary: What The Hell....
Review: House on Haunted Hill is a terrible movie. It starts out like a moderately decent remake of the original, but about twenty minutes into it, things go out the window. After a creepy opening scene, the plot goes out the window in favor of meaningless shocks and laughable fx. Just when one thinks this joke of a horror movie can't get any worse, it does, with a poorly animated 'ghost cloud' thats presence goes unexplained and its defeat comes effortlessly and questionably. With the exception of Geoffrey Rush's wonderful performance as Mr. Price, House on Haunted Hill is a joke, a great cast (Famke Jannsen, Jeffrey Combs and Peter Gallagher) can't save the remaining untalented hacks, the fx laughable and the plot-nonexistant. Do yourself a favor and buy the 1958 version with Vinent Price and leave this turkey to the brain damaged teenagers who think that Urban Legend is also a good movie.

Summary: VISUAL EYE CANDY
Review: i loved the way this movie was filmed. yes, i does look alittle like a TOOL video, but then again they do the best music videos anyway. the story was decent although the ending was a flop. the acting was solid all the way through. i enjoyed all but the last 5 minutes of this movie. i loved the beginning with the rollercoaster, i'd love to get on a ride like that, it'd scar the s**t out of me.

Summary: Scarier than the Exorcist!
Review: I have been a horror film fan for years and I haven't came across a horror movie that has scaried me as bad as the Exorcist. This movie has out done the Exorcist and it will send chills down your spin.
