Summary: Beware The Blood Sucking Critics!!!!!!
Review: The Lost Boys was one of those truly great movies. Well, at leastwhen you're seven and you sneak into a theater to see it. When thismovie came out everybody was talking about it, and with good reason. The acting was superb on every level, the action sequences were bothexciting and scary, and it was just plain good Vampire entertainment. The use of kids as Van Helsing's was brilliant and made for some veryhilarious antics. Corey Feldman's character in particular was fun towatch since he played much of the comic relief. The finaltwist/surprise ending was just that to the film's target audience(people like me) and I liked it, thank you very much....If you were akid during the 1980's you probably already know what I'm talkingabout, The Lost Boys is one hell of a movie. A true Horror classic.

Summary: Not Just Ordinary Vampires
Review: As one of two teenage vampire movies released in 1987, (the other was the miserable "Near Dark")"The Lost Boys," is a hip, modern retelling of the vampire myth set in a Southern California setting. Brothers Michael (Patric) and Sam (Haim) are the newcomers to the small seaside town of Santa Clara, which is known as the murder capital of the world due to the mysterious disappearances of many town residents.

At the town's amusement park, Michael gets himself involved with a gang of vampires, who appear as normal street punks. Meanwhile Sam, meets the Frog Brothers, who run a comic book store at night, but are vampire hunters by day. After Michael himself becomes a vampire due to drinking the blood of a vampire, he is determined to find a way to save himself, the girl he loves, and his family from the impending danger that lurks them.

Directed by Joel Schumacher ("Batman Forever," "Batman & Robin," "Flatliners," etc.), the film's appeal to teenagers is due to its young cast, great soundtrack, and great, yet campy storyline. Dianne Wiest is excellent as Michael and Sam's mother, and Kiefer Sutherland in one of his first major roles is wicked as David, the leader of the gang.

Keep an eye out for a pre-"Bill & Ted's Excellent Adveture" Alex Winter as Marco, one of the vampires. This film also marked the first collaboration of the two Cories, Cory Haim & Cory Feldman, in a string of movies they made together in the 1980's ("License to Drive," "Dream A Little Dream," etc.) that capitalized on their teen-idol status. Reportedley, Jason Patric (who is Jackie Gleason's grandson) hates it when fans mention this movie as one of his best works, but the truth is it still remains one of the late 1980's cult classics.

If you like a funny, yet scary movie in the same tradition as "Scram," then check out this movie. It gave me many memories watching it on DVD as it did when I first saw it at the theater.

Summary: The hippiest movie ever!
Review: Forget about all the vampire movies you have seen! The Lost Boys is an unbeliavable movie made in the 80s. It's seen from the 90s, but is not. Is the best vampire movie, with the most beatiful actors i have ever seen, specially the teenagers vampires. 10 out of 10. Buy it right now! Forget about Fright Night, Interview with the Vampire, Blade, Vampires, The Hunger and others usual vampires movies.

Summary: Best Vampire Movie Around!
Review: I'm not really into "vampire" but this movie rocks. There is plenty of action in the explosive finale that leaves the boys of Santa Carlo battling the vampires in a bloody conclusion. The setting is errie and there is also campy humor. They picked good actors to play the Vampire Boys. Don't listen to anymore, buy it right NOW!

Summary: Kieferlicious
Review: This movie has been my favorite since I was 8 years old! I would have to say it's the best vampire movie of all time because of the coolness of all of the characters-even grandpa! The movie team couldn't have picked better songs for it. Kiefer Sutherland was the best. I've seen (and own) just about every Kiefer movie there is. I once had an autographed pic from him when I was 9 and I lost it....I'm now 20 years old and would love to meet him or find out an address where I can write to him! SEE THIS MOVIE! if you haven't you are deprived from the best movie ever!

Summary: Best Steriotypical Vampire Movie
Review: If you are into those steriotypical vampire movies with flying violence, this movie is right for you. Even if you are totally against the steriotypicalness of it all, as I am, this is still and excellent movie!

Summary: Most awesome teen horror flick of all time!
Review: I cannot even say how much I love this movie! It's got scary parts, funny parts, everything! Also, the freakiest-looking vampires of any movie ever made. Watching it makes you wonder, "What happened to these people?" They all put on great performances, but most have been forgotten. After all these lame little horror movies like "Scream" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer", it's nice to go back in time, so to speak, to when they knew how to make a good scary movie. Okay, so it's not the scariest movie ever, but it's one of the best.

Summary: Murder Capitol of the World
Review: Unlike any of the 100+ horror movies i've seen before, this one was unusually real.it delivered good graphics, great acting, and humorous situations. While it's obvious the movie came from the eighties,it delivers special effects and acting on the nineties level. The work of a legend like Joel Schumacher should be brought back with sequals and dvd. This movie is also one of the better classics that I've seen.

Summary: People are strange when your a stranger...
Review: This is a very cool film and it's considered a teen horror flick. I enjoyed this movie very much and the acting was good. Corey Feldman was in so many good films like FRIDAY THE 13TH 4-5, THE GOONIES etc... I particually liked the soundtrack to THE LOST BOYS, as I soon went out and bought it. Amazingly however when I bought THE LOST BOYS, I got the special edition complete with photo cards from the film and the original trailer. Thats a bargain.
