Summary: Play all night, sleep all day, its fun to be a vampire
Review: This is one of the best vampire films ever made. It was a departure from the typical horror junk that was being made at the time (Fright Night), and successfully portrayed the romantic image of vampires on film. I have to qualify that, since romantic can be interpreted all sorts of different ways. These are not just beautiful vampires, they are also charming, exciting, interesting, and virile. Rather than the movies of the past, where the vampire was seen as a threatening, malevolent force, we want to be like these vampires. This is a cross between Dracula and James Dean.
The story moves along, the acting is on par with the subject matter, and the humor keeps the movie from bogging itself down.

Summary: My All Time Favorite!!
Review: The Lost Boys is the best movie! It has a great cast and AWESOME soundtrack! It was released in the summer of '87 and still holds a slot for my number one. This movie has great one-liners and is a wonderful and refreshing mix of horror and humor. Too bad there never was a sequel but you know how that goes. A sequel would've cheapened it somehow. There was a screenplay finished for a sequel but it was never completed. The stars had other projects or something. Anyways the DVD version is great! It is like watching it in the theatres again. I would love to have added bonus extras. Joel Schumacher if you are reading this help us fans out here! :o)

Summary: "Drink and be one of us..."
Review: This is a great vamp flick. It is about a newly divorced mother and her sons who move into Santa Carla, a city overriden with vampires. Michal, her oldest son, becomes one of these creatures by falling in love with Star, a demi-vampire. He then tries to stop the others and fight what he had become. While being a good movie plot-wise, I think that the protagonists were a bit on the corny side and am truly amazed that they won. All in all, it's something to see if you're a vampire movie enthusiast.

Review: this is a great movie. I love it. its bout 2 brothers who move to santa clarla. the oldest boy Mike chases after this girl named star and finds himself in with a gang of blood suckers. while his liltle brother sam is trying to helphim he meets these two boys edger& allen the frog brothers.they are vapire killers. in this movies i found my self laughing form the brotherly bond. i loved to see them fight. well if u like scarry movies, or movies with *hot* boys u will like this

Review: I LOVED this movie as a kid. Definitely dated, but still a lot of fun. Just image.........moving to a strange new town in sunny California........only to find out the new gang that you're hanging with are a bunch of teenage vampires!!!! This is such a cool movie. The soundtrack is awesome; it fits the movie perfectly. Not a bad transfer to DVD either!

Summary: Better Than a Teen Movie
Review: Ever, as a kid, have to move to a new town you knew nothing about? And, when you got to that town there was something going on, something strange.. but you couldn't put a finger on it?When I was a kid, I moved to a small town in North Dakota.. the people were elusive, even unfriendly.. and something was happening, but you just didn't know what. Years later, two US Marshal's were killed in the area, and the town ended up in the national spotlight when the FBI converged into it searching for Gorden Kahl, who puportedly was hiding in the town after the killings. This story appeals to me because of that, and because of the slow, yet building work up of the characters throughout the movie. Two kids named Sam and Michael move into their grandfathers home in a town they know nothing about. During their stay they find out that many children are missing, presumed runaways by the authorities, and no one seems to be too interested in finding out the truth. But, in the turn of events they discover the truth. The star that shines in this film is Kiefer Sutherland, an initially dark character, seemingly in love with his motorcycle, and viciously protecting his claim on his girlfriend. He is a bully, as are his motorcycle friends. As we find out that, while they remain bullies, they have the "advantage" of being vampires to add to their criminal behavior. Director Joel Schumacher took this movie, which could have been just a standard "B" fare, run in the mill teen horror picture, and rose it up to be funny, dark, and exciting. Recommended for all of you conspiracy theory nuts and vampire fans.

Summary: Best Vampire Movie Still
Review: This has got to be one of the Top 3 best movies from the 80's.
What a cast Joel Schumacher got for this flick. They all clicked together and I have to say that Lost Boys is Kiefer Sutherland's best role to date, with Stand By Me a close 2nd.
I was not bored one bit from beginning to end, and watching it now will make you recognize everyone in the film. Too bad for the Coreys (Haim and Feldman), they can just sit there and watch what thier careers could have become after hits like Lost Boys, License To Drive. Diane Wiest is great in this as she always is in whatever she acts in, like Law & Order. The music, together with the superb acting and some good laughs in this vampire movie will not make you want to fast forward but rewind, or chapter search for DVD, to some scenes to watch again. Thank god for DVD. Jason Patric's best performance to date as well. And watch for Alex Winter from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure as one of Kiefer's bully Vampire buddies. Jami Gertz is sexy as ever like she always has been. What happened Jami after Twister???
By this one on DVD so that it lasts because on VHS you will just wear the tape out from watching it again and again.I will bet the DVD will get rereleased with some extra stuff, the DVD now doesn't have any additives.

Review: this is the best film i have eva watched.
Like a lot of girls the reason i watched it is for kiefer sutherland he looks so yummy, even as a vampire. I think the film is soooooo funny esp the grandad with his one liners and the frog-brothers are really funny 2. I have got the video and i have to say it is the most watched video in the house. This film is a must see. Even the soundtrack to the film is gr8 the best i have eva heard.
