Summary: Spectacular movie with a blood- thirstey cast.
Review: This movie has a great combination of music and interesting actors to make you watch it over and over again.

Summary: Not too bad
Review: This is the film that benchmarked the popular '80s horror films. It is good fun and has a great soundtrack. On the other hand, the quality of the DVD transfer is not that good, and the improvements from the VHS version are not that noticeable. I would recommend watching it, but I would not buy it.

Summary: One of the best GOTHIC films todate
Review: The Lost Boys was a film to make teenagers fear the dark and moving to a new town. This film made a big hit for teens especially the ones who liked heavymetal music. The actors in this film brought a lot of the films dark side out, Sulivan put alot of what the true vampire is like.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Awesome twist on the new kid in town facing the town bullies
Review: When Michael's family moves to Santa Carla, he gets swept up in the reason for the town's "murder capitol of the world" status. Excellent performances by Jason Patric & Barnard Hughes. A vampire classic for years to come. Jason Patric's likeness to Jim Morrison is EERIE!

Summary: This movie is a fantastic movie, I love it.
Review: This movie is so cool that I watch it whenever I get a chance. I like the strange parts the most but I think the boys in the movie are really cute.

Summary: Best movie and soundtrack from the 80's!!!
Review: What an awesome movie and soundtrack. The music is awesome, the story keeps you interested the whole time. This has been my favorite movie for years and will continue to be! Long live the undead!

Summary: Truely Cheesetastic.
Review: A typical 80's "cheese" film. It follows all the guidelines of the 80's comedy-horror genre to the last dot and stands out perfectly. It is one of my all time favorite films, (not only due to the fact it has Keifer Sutherland in, mainly because it is so cheesey.) I only have one question that someone may be able to answer, on one of the poster boards showing pictures of missing people there is supossed to be a picture of Star, but i'll be damned if i can find it, can anyone help? END

Summary: Perfect!
Review: My favourite film ever. Horror, comedy, romance and suspense all roled into one. Plus Kiefer Sutherland is very sexy as a vampire!! END

Summary: cute
Review: Just as Sissy Spacek carried "Carrie," Corey Haim saves "The Lost Boys." I enjoyed his performance as younger brother Sam, and will be watching for more of his acting talent in future productions.

The boring beginning (crappy concert) would appeal to pre-teens, but once the fire-ball gets rolling, the humor is universal. The Vampire House Rules change from one movie to the next, but since I am no aficianado, the half-vampire status in this flick does not faze me; it only adds to the fun.

My favorite scenes were the designer death extravaganzas of the staked bat-boys. The two Vampire-Busters (the Frog brothers) delivered satisfying portrayals of kids pushing the limits of what they can handle. They kept it real, enabling us to laugh at ourselves at that age.

Although The Lost Boys is aimed at the pre-teen crowd, skillful scripting invites us moldy oldies to party along. And we do.

Summary: It has Bill from Bill and Ted duuuuuuude!
Review: You can totally tell this is an oldish film because of the 'fuzziness' of the picture (^-^) but it doesn't stop this film from being an absolute classic.
This may have been scary at the time, I have no idea, but it certainly isn't anymore. Most of the violence is laughable, especially the staking of Alex Winter's character. That doesn't make it a rubbish film though.
It's definitely a bit of an MTV film, even having MTV mentioned in it.
Just try this film out and if you don't like it, fair enough. But at least give it a try.
