Summary: One of the best movies ever!
Review: I'm a huge fan of Corey Haim's (and his future wife), and when I first rented this movie I never really expected it to be good but it was. Although it's classified as a horror, it's not scary a all. In fact, it's more of a comedy than a horror. Although the entire cast acted extrememely well, Corey Haim was the real star of the movie,(even though I have a strong suspicion that the writers were trying to make him seem gay!). I definitly recommend this movie to anybody that likes Corey Haim, and even to people that don't.

Summary: CLASSIC Vampire Flick!
Review: This is a classic - and I generally don't like horror movies! Beautifully cast (Keifer RULES and Jason Patrick is PERFECT), the plot is fun and the scenery and costumes support the genre. What's even better is the soundtrack - totally awesome! I highly recommend this one.

Summary: Buy a new DODGE car or truck while you run for your life
Review: Two brothers and their mother move to the missing persons capital and while one mixes in with the local vampire population, the other becomes a believer in the supernatural. The older brother then becomes a vampire and the younger brother joins the crazy juvenile vampire hunters. And together, they try to take down the vampire gang who turned him into one. Sleek and stylish (like the video box says) but the actual terror is camouflaged behind the childish antics of Haim (who's not even on the video box!). And the drama is completely obliterated behind all given elements. All and all a half half. Funny how the lead vampire Herrmann is now doing commercials for DODGE, like the caption above reads.

Summary: THE best vampire movie of the MILLENIUM
Review: This movie rates as one of the all-time greatest vampire movies in my DVD collection. The effects were out standing. The plot was very creative. And the acting was second-to-none. "The Lost Boys" gets my vote for favorite movie of all-time.

Summary: "How far are you willing to go?"
Review: This is definitely one of my favorite vampire movies. True, it doesn't stack up to Interview, but hey, Interview was made from a novel, and a very stunning novel at that. The comparison isn't fair. What strikes me the most about The Lost Boys is the mood and atmosphere generated by the film. The ocean wind, the crashing waves, mist gently swirling below the railroad trestle, the eerie music integrated seamlessly into the scenes, the simultaneous decadence and horror of the Boys' existence. Michael struggling with his own golden-eyed beast as the Boys ruthlessly tear apart the beach party. David, on top of the bluff, "How far are you willing to go?" Now, it's true that the humor can get a little old, especially if the Coreys irritate you. And it's true that there are a few(only a few) painfully horrid lines uttered by said Coreys. However, Kiefer Sutherland more than makes up for it, and after you see the shimmering blue-black ocean flying by beneath you and hear the swishing of long coats and the demonic laughter that is uniquely David's, you may just feel tempted to put on a dark coat and skulk around on your local carousel, and you will almost certainly think twice before heading to the amusement park after sundown...

Summary: The Absolute Best
Review: I think that The Lost Boys is THE best vampire movie ever made..ever. Not only worthy of a cult following but many vampires have come out of hiding since this movie came out. A masterpeice of its time. - Raven \/^^^^\/ * *

Summary: This movie is worthy of a cult following
Review: It is certainly one the best vampire movies to ever be filmed. Possibly even better than Interview With A Vampire. This movie has a special quality in showing the vampires and what they are like. You get to know them and almost feel bad when they are pulverized. It just doesn't show them as only evil beings as pop-culture would lead us to believe, but also that they have an innocence about them. This is truly a great edge-of-your-seat movie.

Summary: I'm from Santa Cruz....need more than that?
Review: I love the Boardwalk scenes. And they are very close to the way it is there. On Fri nights during the summer we have "hot summer nights" where we do set up bands, just like in the movie. And the people are just as eclectic! After dark, it's just us locals. I love it!

Summary: My favorite film of all time
Review: I first saw this film when I was 11. I've loved it ever since. This film has it all...comedy, suspense, horror, action, and a touch of drama. I love vampire films, and I have to say that this is the most intelligent one I've ever seen. It's the only one I know of where the vampire hunters are SMART and go for the vampires in the daytime instead of 5 minutes before the sun goes down! Plus it features two of my favorites, Alex Winter (whom many will remember as "Bill" from 'Bill and Ted') and Billy Wirth (whose been in so many things, I've lost count.) All in all, a great movie, and my favorite on the planet.

Summary: THE MOST SLEEK MOVIE I EVER SEEN!
Review: The Lost Boys is plenty of very good looking actors, amazing songs, stylish visual, and very sensual atmosphere. A clever movie in all aspects! Essencial for any person who like live at the top! A cult movie forever!
