Summary: INTENSE
Review: I thought the movie was very realistic. I was reading how alot of people said that it was far fetched. These were scenes like, the jokemaking, delayed reactions to fear, running and screaming like crazy. These three people to me were very genuine. you could tell by the end of the movie they were sick of being scared, they were now on there way to losing there minds. Totally worth seeing.

Summary: It is just a movie, purely for entertainment purposes only
Review: If all of these people who complained about the blair witch because it wasn't real; would have just used their heads in the first place they would have realized that no one would release a movie about three people that are still missing. Having said that, if you look at the movie as strictly a source of entertainment I think you would find that it is one of the most suspenseful movies ever made. Everyone walked into the movie theaters knowing that the Exorcist was just a movie, but it still firghtened the moviegoers. Let this movie take you in and you will be frightened and very much entertained. The great thing about this movie is that there isn't one bit of visible decapitations, disembowelments, or the like. It was a completely original idea and I respect the filmmakers and actors for what they did to make the movie. I reccommend that you at least rent the movie and experience it for yourselves. But I am going to buy it becuase it was original, engrossing and the scariest movie I've seen since the exorcist!

Summary: IT IS A GOOD MOVIE!
Review: I WAS SCARED IN THE BEGINING BECAUSE OF THE WAY PEOPLE DESCRIBED IT BUT I DID SEE IT AND IT HAD ITS PARTS THAT WERE SCARY BUT THE MOVIE WAS REALLY GOOD AND I THINK YOU SHOULD SEE IT.

Summary: Good, but don't see it more than once
Review: Thsi movie certainly deserves credit for its innovation and all the effort put into presenting it as a true documentary. The first time i saw it, i went home and i swear i heard some "Blair Witch " sounds in my dorm late at night as i was sleeping. Then i saw it again (after i found it was no true)and it was not that creepy after all, just full of people screaming while you wonder why they film everything even though they're supposed to be so scared out of their minds. Bottom line, see it once and enjoy it.

Summary: Finally...Someone still knows how to make a horror film!
Review: I was completely blown away after seeing "The Blair Witch Project." In this day of smack-you-in -the-face blood and guts horror films, this film was a completely refreshing experience. You actually are allowed to use your mind and think about the movie instead of the entire movie (and the characters bodies) falling apart in front of your eyes! I'm so tired of these cookie cutter "horror" films that leave nothing to the imagination. It's your imagination that can create the most terrifying experiences...and that is exactly the premise of "The Blair Witch Project." So, for those of you that want to see poor little Suzie Q get beheaded by a dead guy wearing a ski mask and knives for finger nails, go on down to the movie house and rent "Freddie Goes Berzerk On Friday the 13th." But, if you want to use a little grey matter (and get scared half to death), then take a trip to see the Blair Witch.

Summary: PUH-LEAZE
Review: I am 11 years old. I went and saw this movie and I thought it reeked in the scary department. Sure it was interesting but the guys who made it need to get creative. Sticks and rocks are not scary. I know you have to think about it to figure it out but I got everything and it still did not scare me. I live in a sort of country area and I read something about a 14 year old girl who could not go outside or sleep on her own after seeing this movie. Why is that? To all you people who were terrified think about this: Instead of running out of the theater screaming after the movie like some people were an 11 year old girl walked out laughing about how badly done it was. No offense but it was not scary! At least to me, but think whatever you please.

Summary: Brilliant Original Concept to Hollywood Horror!
Review: For those of you who wait for several months to hear all about a movie and then decide to find out for yourselves with unrealistic expectations, I say be a leader and not a follower. Blair Witch is a brilliant film done so with unique film styles and an incredibly gripping credo, to make viewers believe it is real and to scare the daylights out of you. I saw it with my friends and convinced myself to believe that every inch of reel-tape was true. Of course it is only a film, done so intentionally, and you will truly enjoy it if you can cast aside the stupid expectations and hype that tends to follow these big-buzz movies. Watch it, and be entertained, and don't be a pessimist. Blair Witch is epic!

Summary: It takes imagination
Review: I went into the movie with rather mediocre expectations, and was suprised at how scary it really was. I enjoy the scary thrill that comes from what is created in the imagination better than blood and guts anyday. The movie did get long in parts, towards the middle, but the end made it all worth while. The last scene, running through the house, and the final shots of Michael in the corner and the screaming were VERY effective. I went into the movie thinking that it was real, so that gave me a different perspective also. I usually hate horror movies, but Blair Witch was well-acted and well-done, very effective and very scary.

Summary: These were film students?
Review: I agree the idea was brilliant, however, the movie was terrible. I also understand low-budget, but weren't these guys supposed to be film students? I'm sure their instructor would love their great camera work.
