Rating: Summary: yawn!! Review: read the review from rob powell . . . he summarized it perfectly
Rating: Summary: Not even scary Review: This movie was very over-rated...show me one scary part and I will give it 3 stars. It was more funny than scary....the way they cussed every 3 words.
Rating: Summary: Suprising Review: I waited all summer to see this movie that was to "break the mold",to be the "scariest movie of the dedicated", and to make you "sleep with the lights on". Now don't get me wrong it was a good film, but had it not been an indie it wouldn't have gone anywhere. I didn't have to sleep with the lights, and I surely didn't find it the scariest movie of the decated. It made me jump a couple of times but not any further than the concession stand to get more supplies. If you have never been scared, don't expect to be, if you have enjoy the gitters. But by no means, say you couldn't sleep at night in your peaceful home because 3 people making a documentary got lost in the woods.
Rating: Summary: I believe that this movie is mysterious and dazzling!! Review: This movie is very well done. I loved every minute of it from start to finish and I recommend it to everyone that hasn't seen it.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful change of pace Review: I have seen Jason, Freddy, and Michael, as well as Scream and the like, and this movie was wonderful in the new approach it took to scaring my pants off. It lurrs you in with being deceptively light in the beginning, but you share the "filmmakers"-Heather, Mike and Josh in their fear. I also hit the website and discovered the history behind the blair witch (well, if you call fiction history), and that enhanced the movie's experience ten-fold. I caught all the subtle nuances that the director threw in that most the people watching didn't. I particularly liked the certs (gotta hit the a&e blair witch site for that explanation!). It was a low level scare up until the end, and I can still see the ending in perfect detail, as if I was watching it at this moment. The ending left you wanting to watch more, not wanting to leave the theatre. The director(s) did very well with this one.Not for your average movie goer at all!
Rating: Summary: An Ingenious Idea!! Review: I loved this movie. The night after I could not sleep at all!! I loved the suspense and the fact that when the movie first came out everyone thought it was real!
Rating: Summary: Very amateurish, camera work made me dizzy, boring not scary Review: I was bored, never scared and couldn't believe the wonderful advance billing the movie received. The film makers must have paid off a lot of people. I felt like an idiot during the film thinking how stupid I was to have wasted time and money on that dreadful film.
Rating: Summary: Superb! (says it all!) Review: Absolutely the BEST horror flick I've ever seen! I've never been scared by horror films but this one scared the begebies outta me! A++++++++++ rating. There's nothing like it out there and that's what's so great about it.
Rating: Summary: Zzzzzzzzzz Review: What a waste of time. Poor acting, no music, and no ending. About as scary as a Barney movie.
Rating: Summary: Excellent First Person Viewpoints Review: Watching the movie, and the type of photography that was used makes the movie more realistic, and even more frightning, because you feel that you are with them in a way. Being lost in the woods while camping can be a scary experience, especially if you don't normally camp and nothing seems to be going right. THe only problem I saw with the movie itself is the fear/bravery conflict with the characters. They would be extremely scared, but then go out of the tent and look around for whatever was outside making noise. A normal person would not contradict themself THAT much. Overall, it was one of the best scary movies I had seen. It left me very cold.
