Summary: One of best Realistic movies I have seen.
Review: We just watched the Blair Witch Project and it is one of the most real movies I have seen. It makes you feel you are there with the 3 in the woods filming the footage along with them.

Summary: Few times in ones life is thier imagination fully captured
Review: The Blair Witch Project. Oh yes! The movie with all the hype! The movie that scared Hollywood. Many people hated this film. They either hated the hype, or the fact that it was not steadily filmed, or the fact that Julia Roberts did not star, or the fact that they were too into thier popcorn in the first 10 minutes that they had no idea why that guy was standing there at the end. No matter why it was hated.... I say it is the most wonderful, brilliant, refreshing film I have seen in my short 21 years. Shot on a video camera! My friends could have done that! Hunted in the night... we all feel the shadows behind our bedroom doors... made for no money... that will show those Hollywood types... featuring a 200 year history...someone thought about a movie before they made it??? Not to mention the beautiful and REAL performances of those three doomed filmmakers. (Lets all remember, thousands of people will not mistake it for real if it does not truly seem that way.) If you hated this movie, you talked about it - thought about it the next day. Maybe that is the scariest part of the Blair Witch Project... a movie that makes you feel, a movie that makes you afraid, a movie that makes you think...

Summary: A good scary movie if you've still got an imagination!
Review: I found this movie somewhat entertaining, but by today's standards of scary movies, it was a little weak. I simply feel it didn't live up to all the hype surrounding it (possibly because I have been exposed to too many of the gory knife-wielding- maniac-type scary movies). But if you are lucky enough to have not been desensitized by all that, then I definitely recommend you go see it. Even though I didn't find it scary in a "don't- go-see-it-by-yourself" kind of way, I admit, I probably won't be going camping in a very long time!

Summary: Different, Scary, Excellent
Review: The Blair Witch Project--what an amazing flick. The first movie that actually scared the hell out of me since the Exorcist. Made you laugh, made you cringe, made you think. Leaves you with a creepy lasting impression. Realistic--Brilliant!!! A must see movie!!

Summary: This was the scariest damn movie I have ever seen.
Review: This movie started out O.K. but by the end I was yelling at them to get out. That last scene sacred the s*** out of me . When the girl finally ran down to basement ,while screaming . Well you know ! This was the best horror film I have ever seen.*****

Summary: Burn, Witch, Burn!
Review: Last night I dreamt I went to The Wiz and brought me a video-camera. I also brought some blank tapes. I went to Central Park and began shooting scenes of squirrels racing around as they searched for nuts (not the walking kind of which there were in abundance but the little things eat). I fell down several times but still kept my camera running. I shot several dozens of joggers racing, running, and I took closeups to show their sweaty, greasy faces and matted hair. I showed this to a movie producer friend of mine who immediately launched it on the internet as "The Mad Squirrels Project." It became a sensation. Suddenly, I awoke, sweating, terrified that this might really happen. Then I realized it has. "Blair Witch" was a fun novelty to watch but can anyone in their right mind compare this no-budget, no-movie novelty to "Psycho", "Rosemary's Baby", etc. (as it has been done by critics who should know better.)Now, let's prepare ourselves for--no, not "The Mad Squirrels Project" but sequels galore. I think I'm gonna be watching "Armageddon" and "Godzilla" instead.

Summary: First movie to scare me in a long time!
Review: If you're one of those people that like to immerse yourself in the movie that you're watching, The Blair Witch Project will freak you out for days. I found myself left with chills. While the motion of the camera seemed to have bothered viewers, I believe it was one of the key elements that the film needed to make it so realistic. Between the unseen, but implied horrors that lurked in the woods to the realistic fear expressed by the three actors, this movie sent me home with a fear that I haven't known for years. A camping trip will not be in my near future.

Summary: One of my top 10 horror films.
Review: Having camped in one of the Javanese ancient/haunted forests, I can sense the fear that plagues the trio in this movie. The desperation, insecurity, blames and the darkness are like echoes in my mind. While I don't mind the poor camera works, Heather is too irritating for me (that's why I omitted one star from the rate). The way the story reaches its' climax, although slow, is quite shocking. The ending could've been better though. I swear I saw a person standing in front Mike, before his camera faded out. Who the hell was that person, Heather?

Summary: Scariest movie since Silence of the Lambs
Review: A wonderfully creepy movie that starts out rather funny, then disturbing, with a climax that haunts the viewer for days afterwards. A thinking-person's horror movie & a very clever use of an extremely limited budget. The method used by the filmmakers was highly reminiscent of Orson Welles' War of the Worlds radio broadcast "hoax".

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Pure raw emotion
Review: The acting is so realistic, from an artistic point of view these young actors should win an oscar. The raw emotional realization that there is no hope fills the room with pure terror. As an actor myself, if I ever can get that into a role I am sure to be hot stuff in the box offices too. A movie to see!! Will leave you pondering for hours afterwards. I recommend going to the late showing and then making a night of it at Denny's to talk over it with friends. Makes me never want to camp in small numbers. Go see it!!!
