Rating: Summary: THIS IS A HORROR CLASSIC!! Review: THIS MOVIE WAS GREAT. YOU TALK ABOUT BEING SCARED. JUST THINK, YOU DON'T EVEN GET TO SEE WHO IS DOING THE KILLING. THE MOVIE LEAVES IT UP TO YOU TO DEVELOP THE KILLER. MAKING IT EVEN SCARIER AND PERHAPS EVEN MORE REAL. I AM SCARED TO GO IN THE WOODS NOW!
Rating: Summary: the scariest ever! Review: I saw it last week and was freaking out when the ending came about! Iam never going in the woods again! it was the biggest suspense movie ever!
Rating: Summary: I WON'T GO INTO THE WOODS FOR A WHILE Review: This movie was outstanding. It was truly original and the acting was great, especially since it was mostly improv. This is a movie that you either love or hate. The people that keep giving this one star don't know the hard work and genius that goes into making a film. This is one for ages. The choppy camera shots and the darkness, when you can hear but can't see, is truly horrifying. I'll be thinking about that movie for a while, especially the ending. Get ready to be scared!!! This movie does to the woods like Jaws did the the ocean!
Rating: Summary: this movie isnt for everyone Review: because of the fan-generated hype, i have noticed an abundance of reviews saying that TBWP sucked and was a waste of their money, the latter could have been true but it certainly is not a bad movie. the blair witch project is not an mtv styled "scream" or "i know what you did blah blah" movie..instead it taps into something primal that only a select few can pick up on. if you watched the movie with a closed mind, it isnt going to scare you at all. but if you give it a chance and identify with the characters and immerse yourself within the movie, you will be a complete insomniac for nights to come. it's only a matter of taste, and just because it doesnt fit along to any predetermined standard doesnt make it a terrible film. it is in fact one of the most original ideas in the history of media..and to deny that is to display a great deal of ignorance.
Rating: Summary: This movie made a viewing audience of 300+ scared "silent" Review: I saw this movie on its opening night. I have never been so scared while watching a movie until "The Blair Witch Project." It made the audience of 300+ totally silent. You didn't even hear popcorn crunching. Unfortunately, the theatre's power went off the last 15 minutes (and most exciting) of the movie. I did see it a second time to see the ending. You really have to pay attention to the begining to understand the end. I definately recommend this movie to those who are sick of the traditional and "not so scary" movies of the past. This movie WILL scare the hell out of you!
Rating: Summary: Best movie I've seen in a long time!!! Review: This movie was different than any other scary type movie I've ever seen. We were all impressed with the actors and the bizarre situations they encountered. Go see it if you haven't!!
Rating: Summary: INCREDIBLY SCARY! Review: It was terrifying, I am 11 and have never seen a horror movie before, so this was SCARY! The 2 most scary things were: 1, it was like, when it got to be night time you knew it wasn't gonna cut back to the day, you knew you were gonna stick with them through the night and something scary was gonna happen, you just didn't know what! and 2, the climax. I was sitting in the theater, a piece of Starbust Hardcandy in the side of my mouth un-toutched, with my hands over my face but I still watched because I wanted to see what was gonna happen, but I knew it was gonna be scary. The only thing is, the movie didn't stick with me, but I get scared when I remember the movie, otherwise it doesn't stick with you that much. Another thing I thought was really artfully done was the comic relief, it was really funny in the beggining but the later on in the movie it got, the more scary the nights were, the less comic relief there was. Alot of people jump on them for releasing the Soundtrack, well, they can't do many other marketing ploys with this one, can they? It was made so there can be no sequel, no action figures, no video game, nothing! If you pee you're pants easily, don't see this movie!
Rating: Summary: HELP! I CAN'T SLEEP! Review: For those who remember watching The Exorcist, The Shinning, etc., get ready because as reviewed, this is the scariest movie since them. I'm seriously having problems getting over the long lasting affects of this movie and find my self not wanting to be alone, or out in the dark too much. Personally, I think this movie should be rated R and it also didn't help that I went into the movie thinking it was a true story. Overall though, I guess the film-makers would be happy to know that I can't sleep, and I have to commend them for such creativity in inventing the Blair Witch. Bravo!
Rating: Summary: IT'LL SCARE YOU,NOT AMAZE YOU' Review: If you're looking for a horror movie with lots of special effects and a polished storyline and lots of gore then you've come to the wrong place. If you're looking for a way to be scared out of your wits by a fake documentary that seems all too real, then this is for you.The whole point of the movie is to make it seem like a documentary. Many people don't like this movie because they want it to be like Friday The 13th or the Texas Chainsaw Masscare. It's not.Watch this movie expecting less then perfect video like you would record if you were in this situation and you won't be dissapointed. The only thing I didn't like about the Blair Witch Project was the language. The profanity was a little too over emphasized and gets irritating after a while.Besides that,I recommend the movie as good way to celebrate Halloween.
Rating: Summary: I thought it was great!!!! Review: The whole consept of the movie was great. Not going to Hollywood to make it is even better. Budget filming seems to make some movies real. Maybe Hollywood needs a lesson.
