Summary: Totally Terrifying! Don't watch it alone!
Review: Being a definite Stephen King fan, I had to watch this and although not as cool as the amazing book, definitely an excellent film which will have you squinting through your fingers to see what happens next! Having (again) read the book, I wanted to scare myself again with the film, but unfortunately cannot get hold of it in the UK. Pennywise is probably the most terrifying character you'll ever meet, aside from Eva Galli in Peter Straub's Ghost Story.

Summary: IT is da bomb!!!!!
Review: My friend, mom, and brother and I all watched IT, and we think it's the coolest movie ever. There's no need for gore (which it doesn't have a lot of, thank goodness) it's got humor, (yes, humor) suspense, action, etc. It's the best horror movie ever.

Summary: It --- Not bad for a TV mini-series
Review: "It" -- an adaptation of the Stephen King novel of the same title is pretty darn good for the first 2 hours ... and then fails miserably during the ending. One has to keep in mind however, that it is hard to get into King's mind to see just what he is thinking. Dealing with the limited television mini-series budgets for this type show ... the tape was fulfilling. I really enjoyed it! Big spider aside ... I give the show a 5 for entertainment.

Summary: A good film, but not to be confused with the book!
Review: Compared to the book, this movie isn't very good. However, we are not comparing it to the book. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is because you can watch it over and over again. While some may find this film frightening, compared to The Exorcist it's a trip to the circus :) A good choice if you haven't read the book!

Summary: This movie scared the sh*t out of me!!!!!
Review: This movie is really, really scary. I first saw it when I was little and now I'm scared of clowns! I've tried to read the book but that is scarier. I wouldn't let anyone under ten watch this, it really scared my 13 year old cousin. The best part is when that guy is kissing that chick and it turns out it is Pennywise the Clown. This is a fantastic performance from the great Tim Curry. If you enjoy his performance in "IT" I recomand you see Tim Curry in the Tales from the Crypt episode "Death of some Salesman". He plays an entire family in that and the father reminds me of Pennywise the Clown. Tim was Emmy nominated for that episode.

Summary: AHHHHHHHHH!!! The SCARIEST movie ever!
Review: As far as I know, you have read the basic plot in the movie review in the middle of the page. This is the movie you want if you are in the mood to SCREAM like you've never screamed before. This is, in my opinion, Stephen King's SCARIEST novel yet, and it is scarier in movie form. I reccomend this movie if you are in the mood for a scare, but not for kids under 15.

Summary: Wasted ingedients
Review: Not all of King's books translate well onto the screen. I have not read the book, and cannot judge the quality of the starting material. What I do know is that, despite having most, if not all, of the needed ingredients for a good horror movie, I just did not find it scary, creepy, horrifying, terrifying, or any other synonym I can think of. It also did not come out, to me, as a horror movie that ended up funny in the absurd sense. I found it boring. I do know that I have never found clowns to be scary, and I never bought this clown as a monster. King has written some truly scary monsters - the cop in "Desperation", Randy Flagg in "The Stand", Wild Bill and Percy Wetmore in "The Green Mile" come to mind - but this clown is just Freddy Krueger-Goes-To-The-Circus. No shivers, goosebumps, or nightmares here.
