Summary: dont you want it, dont you want it, dont you want it
Review: without a doubt one of the greatest films ever made. so what if the movie wasn't 100% accurate to the book, it's still great. tim curry is awesome and should have got an oscar or at least a nomination. best line " you all taste so much better when you're afraid." the first half of the movie far exceeds and overshadows the second half but thats because the children did a better job of expressing their fear. the nicely designed sets, creepy music and special effects all form to deliver a horror experience like none other. anyone who tells you they weren't scared by this movie is full of...

Summary: Possibly the funniest movie ever
Review: Me an my buddy were havin a movie shindig and he rented this because nohing else was in. i spent about 5 minutes yellin at him because i thought it would suck. but then we watched it and wow was it funny. The whole clown thing was hilarious. And how it always made fun of everyone, that was kewl too. But by far the funniest thing was the 3 scenes where the clown is messin with that scrawny mommas boy kid and he says "You cant run, GIRLIE BOY!" it was so incredibly funny we had to rewind it about 12 times to watch it again. Then 2nd scene is when the clown is posessing that old guy whos talkin to the scrawny mommas boy and says "Run while you still ca, GIRLIE-BOY!!" it rules. We rewinded that about 20 times. The 3rd and final kewl scene is where the clown is the spider (I have no idea why spider would be a clown) and the scrawny mommas boy tries to kill the spider with his "Placibo" (or whatever it is) and the spider picks him up and kills him, that was great. To the actors who played that scrawny mommas boy thanx for the laughs. It did have some trippy hallucigenic scenes, but everything other than that was pretty bad.... [changed from sucked] [irrelevent]

Summary: Pennywise the Dancing Clown!
Review: This was a good movie. BUT i havnt read the book yet so i cant really say which is better. The book will probably be better becuz the book always is better than the movie. When i found out that it was a TV MiniSeries I did think they could do alot better. In my option i think they should Re-Do the movie, as a MOVIE and not a TV show. It would probably be 10x better.

Summary: i am so disappointed
Review: i am so disappointed by this movie. this is nothing like the book. the casting was done horribly. i think the only people who were even cast correctly as thier discription in the book was Richie (played by seth green) and bill (the kid from the never ending story). everybody else didn't even look the the way they should. like stanely uris' mom. she shouldn't been fat in the movie she was an skinny old lady. damn't kids can't we just do what the book says...

Summary: Not scary enough!
Review: I read the book "It" before I saw the movie. The book scared the .. out of me, but the movie just...didn't. There are a few scary parts when Pennywise shows his long and pointy teeth, but generally, he was too funny to frighten me all that much. Plus, the spider at the end was so stupid. I suppose maybe this movie would have been better if it hadn't been made for TV.

Summary: Now I Know Why Im Scared Of Clowns
Review: I first saw this movie a year ago and it terrified me. I've been scared of clowns all my life and now I know why. I saw the comercials and posters for this when I was little and clowns have scared me ever since. The end wasnt that great because of the cheesey spider but other than that it was great. Tim Currey did a good job as Pennywise the clown. All the other acters in the movie did pretty well to.

Summary: One Of The Best Addaptions Of A Stephen King Novel
Review: This movie stands out as one of the few movies to be based on a stephen king book that is surprisingly good.Tim curry was very good as pennywise and so are the rest of the characters.I'm not afraid of clowns not even the mean and scary ones, but this clown for some reason spooks me out sometimes edspecially when he has those glowing eyes and those nasty long sharp teeth. ....As usual though in most of Stephen King's addapted movies this movie is very long 3 hours and 12 minutes, but theres soo much going on it doesn't seem that long and it follows the book pretty well ... ....Good make-up too.

Summary: TRASH!
Review: This movie is by far the worst, along with Saturday Night Fever. I watched this by accident when I was very young and it terrified me. The only thing worth saying about this movie is that it is TRASH! I think a garbage can is where it belongs. Now if you want entertainment that you can actually sit down and *enjoy*, I strongly recommend "Anne of Green Gables."

Summary: ANOTHER STEVEN KING CLASSIC...
Review: EVERYONE IN THIS MOVIE WAS EXCELLENT. IMAGE GROWING UP AND STILL BEING AFRAID OF YOUR CHILDHOOD "GHOSTS". THIS MOVIE TAKES EVERY CHILDS FEAR AND MAKES IT REAL, AND SOO SCARY THAT EVEN AS AN ADULT YOU HAVE THESE FEARS AND THEN TO ADD TO IT THROW IN A HOMICIDAL CLOWN. A CLOWN TO A CHILD IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HAPPY, AND CHERISHED ICON. IN THIS MOVIE IT IS PURE EVIL. IT IS A CLASSIC THRILLER. IT HAS EXCEPETIONAL TALENT WITH JOHN RITTER, RICHARD THOMAS, ANNETTE O'TOOLE, TIM REID AND OF COURSE TIM CURRY WHO WAS FABOULOUS AS FRANK N FURTER IN ROCKY HORROR HE IS PRICELESS AS THE CLOWN. LOVED IT. KIDS DID TOO.
