Summary: scariest movie of all time
Review: when i was about 20, i went to see the exorcist at the drive-in with my wife. (of course, she didn't want to go) after the movie every one was so shocked that went to the coffie shop next to the drive-in get some coffie to relax themselves. my wife was so scared she couldn't sleep for at least a month. by the way, did you know that some people got institutionalized because they were so scared of the movie. it's true! so don't watch this movie if your easily scared--you'll regret it.

Summary: I think it was very scary and even more since it is true!
Review: I think this move, "The Exorcist," is very scary. I recommend for you to watch with someone. Kids out there are not to watch unless with an adult around. This movie is based on a true story which happened in Washington D.C. which makes it scary for me because I live near there.

Summary: A true classic
Review: This is a motion picture that was made at the right time and for the right reason. Any other decade would not have allowed some of the material one sees in "the Exorcist." Between the mildly radical sixties and the viewer-sensitive eighties came the seventies when many films stepped over the line. This film is the pinnacle of this genre. There has been a lot of talk about major plot developments in this film, but what is just as fascinating are the subtlties. For example, why does a devoted priest spend much time caring for the psychological needs of others while letting his own mother rot away in her substandard home? During a party, what causes a fight to break out between a mild-mannered housekeeper and a normally-whimsical motion picture director? In one scene a detective finds a clay piece of art made by a devil-possessed girl which bears a striking similarity to a piece of pottery found by a priest on an archaelogical dig in Iraq. In a subway station why does the priest show such contempt for a haggard old bum who simply asks, "Hey father, can you help out an old altar boy? I'm a catholic." The best way to view this film is with the lights out and the volume turned up. Be sure to watch the documentary that preceeds the film, it helps put everything in perspective.

As mentioned earlier, this film was made for the right reason. It helps us to look at the evil in the world not as some shadowy dark demonic figure that lurks around us, but something that lives in all of us.

Summary: The Exorcists was banned from England
Review: What it means for a movie to be banned from England is, it cannot be sold, rented or shown on TV, but people there can leagally own copies of it.

My mother, sister and I liked it, but my father didn't. I have been giving a pretty girl some photo's from "The Exorcists," because as far as I know it is probally the only horror movie she likes. As for me the type of horror movies I like are, zombie movies , slasher movies, and haunted house movies. Of course I am a senior in High School, and I don't think I will out grow horror films.

Summary: horrifying
Review: THE EXORCIST was a terrifying film. I am doing a speech on horror films and their past, present, and future. I am showing a clip from this film, so I had to watch it. I recommend this to any genuine horror genre fan!

Summary: EXORCIST A HEAD TURNING DVD
Review: I've waited 25 years to see all the behind the scenes stuff...presented excellently on this edition, however, Warners left out "Regan's first medical exam" and didnt show the complete "Regan's birthday trip thru Georgetown" both cut from the film-SHAME ON YOU BILLY FRIEDKIN...Other than that, this is the buy of the year for DVDs. PS why didnt you include all the radio spots too??????????

Summary: One of the best I've seen!
Review: I love horror movies but this is and will remain one of the scariest and intense horror films I've ever seen. I saw it was a young child and for nights after had to sleep with a night-light. It is a film that makes you question good and evil, right from wrong.
