Summary: a great gruesome flick
Review: I love this movie. I first saw it a few years ago and was mezmerized by the makeup. This film is so scary literally locking you to you seat and clenching your teeth. Honestly you won't want to miss a single second of this one. Jonathan Fuller is terrific as the Freak. A+ Check it out!!

Summary: *blink* Where's the scary part?
Review: I must have blinked and missed it. Sure, it was gory in places, but the lead character was so clueless I wanted to slap him. Didn't even drop his pants for the sex scene! He and the prostitute did it standing up against a wall. Classy. I suppose Full Moon didn't pay Jeffrey Combs enough to give us the full monty.

Summary: What's all the hype about?
Review: I really was expecting far more from this film. Granted, this is a great little DVD with nice extras and very good picture quality. But what's up with all this hype over the actual film? I found it unoriginal and quite boring! I suppose it'll be a good movie to show my friends if we really want good 'ol "B" grade entertainment - it's also got a bit of grossness that should be worth a small gasp! Only true "Full Moon" addicts need to get this DVD!

Summary: one of Gordon's finest
Review: I think this great little film is up there with Stuart Gordon's other two finest films : Re-animator and Dagon. Very, very gruesome in places but it's clever in the way that Gordon manipulates the viewer into feeling some sympathy for the pathetic creature of the title. I like the look and feel of this little gem too.

Review: I thought this movie was so so and you can yell and scream at me all you want Stuart Gordon fans but it aint better then Re-Animator which was the bomb diggidy. this one has of course Jeffrey Combs in it, hes good but the story and the shrieks and chills didnt add up to what it was supposed to be. for Gordon of Combs fans basically, others beware its bad taste.

Summary: This is the sort of movie you have to get into to enjoy.
Review: I truly enjoy Full Moon movies because they are all B-Movies, no matter how much they try to make them good. But I will have to say for this one that you have to have patience. I say that because it is a well done movie, but the speed at which it goes combined with the quality of film and the lighting of the movie make it drag out. But after several viewings, if you look at it with an un-biased view against bad movies you will enjoy it. The story line is pretty good, and I think all you b-movie lovers will enjoy it. If you watch it again after the first time. (Shamefull as it is too admit, I fell asleep the first time.)

Summary: More like Castle "Reek"
Review: If I were a vampire, then Full Moon Entertainment would surely be my garlic. But, it was good to know that they could take a break in the schedule of their twenty-film Puppet Master epic to do this film. Oh, baby. A guy comes with his wife and daughter to a castle he has inherited, but, uh oh, there's a freak in the basement. It hate it when that happens. The freak has been down there eating spiders and catfood for like fifty years. So, of course, with the inheritor and his familiy in the way, the freak throws down the gauntlet, while simultaneously developing a Torgo-esque fetish for the inheritor's wife. Finally, both inheritor and freak do down fighting from a castle parapet, but as you well know, you can't keep a good freak down.....

Summary: Pretty good
Review: Stayed up late once with my mom and we watched this movie, I really liked it! I guess it isn't incredibly scary but it's an okay scary movie. I would reccomend it as a movie to watch at a slumber party with a younger audience of 12-14. :-) Buy the video used for a couple dollars though if you want to see it, if you don't lik it you can toss it, if you do that you can keep it.
