Summary: A non-stop action packed battle!!
Review: Freddy vs Jason ruled. I have waited for this movie for like 2 years and I wasn't disappointed. It is definitely one of the greatest movies of this summer. The best film overall of this summer is S.W.A.T. but this was still good. This movie however isn't scary but filled lots of action. All the rock music in the backround was great. It has great plot, lots of gore, sex, and bad acting-IT"S PERFECT. We all know that all the Freddy and Jason films have had bad acting in it, so basically bad acting is one of the elements needed in a scary movie. As far as I am concerned, this is the greatest Jason film since part F13 pt 7 and the best Freddy film since NOES pt 3. Anyway here is the plot.
It has been years since the people of Springwood have sent Freddy to hell. The citizens of springwood have finally managed to outsmart the dream killer. They know now that Freddy can only enter the children's dreams only if they fear him. They now have invented some sort of sleeping drug to keep the psycho out of their dreams. They also have decided to erase history by pretending that all the murders of Elm st. never happened so none of the kids find out about Freddy. The people also never want Freddy's name mentioned. Now Freddy realizes there is no way HE cannot strike fear in kids, but he knows someone who can. That person is Jason Voorhees; the mass murderer who terrorized the town of Crystal Lake for several years. (Lets not forget that Jason too was sent to hell in F13 pt 9) Freddy resurrects Jason by pretending to be Mrs. Voorhees (Played by Paula Shaw although it should've been Betsy Palmer) "Mrs. Voorhees" tells Jason to go to El St. and kill the kids there cuz they have been "naughty" (which is actually true!) Jason, being the momma's boy he is, rises from hell and does what he is told. He goes to elm street and of all the houses he chooses to start killing in, he decides to start at 1428 Elm st. (the house where Nancy lived in from the first NOES) He kills a partying kid their and all hell brakes loose. The cops start suspecting that it may be Krueger but they keep that piece of info a secret and not jump to conclusions. The only cop that suspects that it may be someone else is a cop named Scott Stubbs (Lochlyn Munro). Stubbs is a guy who recently moved to Springwood and doesn't know about Krueger. As for Freddy, he starts to realize that he getting stronger and on the verge of returning to do what does best-kill kids in their dreams! The first person who starts to get haunted by him is a girl named Lori (Monica Keena) who also happens to live at 1428 Elm St. Soon Scott Stubbs w/ Lori and her friends: Will (Jason Ritter), Kia (Kelly Rowland), and Charlie (Chris Marquette) try to solve the whole mystery. Thanks to Jason for striking fear in the kids, Freddy becomes powerful enough to haunt the children's dreams once again. BUT THEN HIS PLAN BACKFIRES! It seems that Freddy doesn't get a chance to kill anybody because Jason is killing them first. Jason is hogging up all the fun. Now Freddy realizes that if he wants to start hacking up some bodies at Elm Street, he must kill Jason first! And at the same time, Lori and friends realize what is going on and do whatever they can to stop both of the maniacs!
Overall, Freddy vs Jason is a good movie. Its full of lots action and very exciting. There is some stupid comedy in it but that is just another thing that makes the movie good. See it while its still in theatres and believe when I say that this is a battle you don't want to miss.

It has to be the goriest out of them all! Freddy comes back and has more funny lines to say! Jason did good and is silent as usual. He did [destroy] alot of people though! It had an awesome ending! I won't give it away.
Gore: Lots of blood flowing! Impalings, Beheadings, and they were all very realistic! Cut in half body, ... arms, legs, etc! This was a great MOVIE!!

Summary: A Horror Fan's Guilty Pleasure
Review: Freddy vs. Jason is a guilty pleasure for fans of slasher flicks. Having grown up watching the teen slasher flicks, I was eager to see this film and I was not disappointed. The concept of pitting two movie monsters against each other is not a new one. Universal did it long ago with "Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman". Here we get two of the most popular of the modern movie maniacs: Jason Voorhees & Freddy Krueger. Freddy is a former child killer, burned alive by the parents of his victims. He now haunts/kills teens in their dreams. Jason is the infamous killer of Camp Crystal Lake who drowned as a kid and now seeks revenge on all teens with raging hormones. The basic plot of the film has Freddy reviving Jason to come to Elm street and help the town "remember" him. Freddy needs the fear of the children to give him strength, but the town has found a way to suppress dreams and wipe out Freddy's memory. The problem arises when Freddy can't shut down the Jason killing machine. So Freddy decides to do away with Jason so he can have the victims to himself. It sounds like a pretty silly plot, but the makers pull it off well. This movie could have easily been horrible (just try to watch Jason X), but the writers put together a descent script. Don't get me wrong, none of the teen actors will win an academy award, but they are present only to serve as slasher fodder anyways. The real treat here is the on screen pairing of the two maniacal killers. The movie wisely spends the last third of the movie with Freddy & Jason locked in battle. The movie benefits from modern special effects and sound techniques. Freddy's knives and Jason's machete sound great coming at you in every direction courtesy of 5.1 surround sound. For this reason, it's worth seeing on the big screen. Freddy vs. Jason is fun for fans of this type of movie. It deserves it's "R" rating and is not for the kiddies. The killings are graphic and bloody. Hopefully we will get a Halloween release of the DVD. Recommended for fans of the genre.

Summary: Fans get what they deserve!
Review: After ten years of waiting for one of the most anticipated horror movies, we get Freddy Vs Jason. The fight does not enter untill the last thirty minutes of the film, but that thirty minutes alone is worth the price of admission. The story before, is mostly Jason killing a bunch of teens, and Freddy unforutanatly only gets one kill. The story is very simple, but plays out nicely. If you are a fan of both series or either, then this is a no-brainer. If your not a fan, then now's a time to start!

Summary: BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME
Review: An incredible film with lots of energy and more importantly, lots of blood and gore. This is easily the bloodiest Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street. There is never a dull moment in this flick and if you have not seen Freddy vs. Jason then you need to as soon as possible.

Summary: Scary not so much
Review: Scary...not really, entertaining...hell yeah. While Freddy Vs Jason isn't 'screaming your head off scary' it makes up in action and humor. What's nice is it is humorous, without being ridiculous. The jokes are well placed and nicely timed. The fighting scenes with Freddy and Jason will have you on the edge of your seat and taking sides. The basic synopsis... Freddy needs Jason; Freddy no longer needs Jason; Freddy wants to get rid of Jason; Freddy vs Jason. Plus some teenagers in the middle. There's a nice cliff-hanger at the end, so maybe a sequel?

Summary: This movie is awsome!
Review: I have seen this movie 4 times in the last 3 days, and I gotta tell you! I just love this movie. I've never been a fan of freddy but I thought Freddy was awsome, so was Jason. Although Jason should have killed more people:) I'm not gonna ruin this movie for you guys, but the ending might surprise you all. Also as I heard, considering the success of this movie, New Line is gonna comup with Freddy vs. Jason II! Well, I certainly look forward to seeing that movie as well. I hope they make Freddy and Jason's clash longer than this one! This movie gets 5 stars for its fun plot, fabulous Freddy and unstoppable Jason!

Summary: A Surprise Hit!
Review: This movie turned out to be a LOT better than I expected! Going into it, I had read some reviews (which were mainly all bad ones) and I had already figured it would have its share of cheesiness, (I mean come on...why would Freddy and Jason be involved in each other's worlds?) but this movie really shocked me! It was really good...I'm not even saying it enough. I can't wait to go back and see it again and I ESPECIALLY can't wait for the DVD release!! I hope they release it soon!! It has great elements of action, gore, surprise, comedy and more. Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child surprised me as well, she is a good actress. For those who weren't sure whether or not to check this movie out...CHECK IT OUT! If you are a Freddy Krueger and/or Jason Voorhees fan, then you will DEFINITELY love this movie. This is the best movie that Jason has been in by FAR and the same with Freddy. FREDDY VS. JASON IS THE BEST!
