Summary: Halloween...the night HE came home
Review: This is a great movie. J.C. is a genius. If you really pay attention to the movie, it can really be scary. I don't own the DVD, cause the 25th anniv. DVD is coming out in August so im waiting for that. Plus, I have the restored collector's video, so I got somethin to watch till then.

Summary: One of my favorites!!
Review: I LOVE Halloween! The plot is fantastic, and I really like all of the characters, and felt sorry for them when some of them died. I enjoyed Jamie's character, Laurie Strode, because I too am a babysitter and can relate to how she feels about certain things.
None of the other Halloween films have, in my opinion, been nearly as good as this one, which uses suspense and scare instead of blood and gore. I encourage everyone to watch Halloween .. it's my all-time favorite, and I hope it will be yours as well!

Summary: Absolutely Scary!
Review: This would have to be one of the alltime scary movies. The role
of Michael Meyers steals the film. Meyers escapes from an insane asylum and returns home. His doctor played by Donald Pleasance
goes hunting for the evil Michael Myers. The villain of this movie starts killing the members of two groups of teenagers who
are celebrating Halloween. He is scary. After several killings by Meyers the movie comes to a conclusion. The doctor finally locates Meyers and shoots him several times blowing him off the balcony. The movie has a creepy ending with the supposedly killed
Michael Myers nowhere to be found. The music at the end of the movie is absolutely creepy. Jamie Lee Curtis in the role of the
babysitter does an exceptional role. This is a must see movie. Buy it.

Summary: HALLOWEEN
Review: this is by far John Carpenters best movie.A psychotic killer escapes from a mental hospital and returns to his old neighborhood, He begins stalking local teenage girls untill he strikes with a vengeance during Halloween night. Very scary with lots of suspense. Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie is terrific as the killers prime target,Donald Pleasence as DR. Loomis is good as the psychiatrist hunting his patient and pj soles as Lynda standsout amongst the rest of the actors.

Summary: Probably the Best Slasher Flick Ever
Review: The best and most purist form of flawless slasher movie so far in horror movie history.A much better movie than Friday the 13th which was nothing but terrable acting and fake effects up until the end.Halloween is alot better than many slasher flicks out there, so rent or buy this movie.I reviewed this movie because I want even more people to like this classic and because this is my favorite movie, but this is not why I rated this movie so high. I did this because this movie is almost flawless as far as I see it to be.So please do not hate this movie if you have allready seen it.

Summary: The First Popular 'Scare Me Flick'
Review: The film genre I call 'scare me flicks' actually began with director George Romero's 1968 film "Night Of The Living Dead", but director John Carpenter's 1978 film "Halloween" popularized the genre. "Halloween" also marks the starring debut of Jamie Lee Curtis. Jamie Lee plays the innocent victim Laurie, a role she plays well.

By current standards "Halloween" is a tame film, but "Halloween" contains all the 'scare me flick' elements: attractive young women victims; arrogant young men victims; a nebulous threatening presence; and unstoppable terror. 'Scare me flicks' have entertained us while redefining societal relationships -- people might laugh at Mom's threats, but nobody laughs at the unstoppable bully Michael Myers.

Summary: Greatest Horror Film of All Time!
Review: Although Friday the 13th Part 1 was an amazing movie, i think the first Halloween tops it...This was without a doubt the best movie in the Halloween series...There is something about it that is hard to put into words, but it is just a perfect horror movie...The characters are well developed (most horror movies lack), Michael Myers is very scary, and the music is outstanding...Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis play their roles perfectly...Most horror films also lack a decent story, which this one excels in...This is all around the greatest horror movie of all time...the only thing that it is missing is gore, which the later films start to use more of...however, everything else about it is so right that it doesnt need the gore...If you haven't seen this film, but it immediately!

Summary: Halloween
Review: This movie was pretty scary with all of the music in the background and when Michael was chasing the girls around. I did think that there was going to be a little more action or gore, though. But I did enjoy the movie!
