Summary: review from Illinois
Review: I found this movie to be one of the best I have ever seen. I couldn't keep my eyes off of the screen. I have always been interested in Wicca, and this movie made me even more interested. I realize that most of what happened in the movie is glamorized, but the whole concept is pretty much real. I would recommend this to everyone.

Summary: great movie
Review: I feel that this movie is an underrated movie. Even though it went a little Hollywood it was still a very good movie. It had great acting by the actresses and Fairuza Balk did a great job(I think) as the main character. With a good supporting cast I think this movie is definately worth seeing again and agian.

Summary: The Craft....ficticious but true!
Review: The Craft is a ficticious but true movie. It portrays Wicca ( a religion which i practice )in a hollywood glamed up manner, where witches can levitate and hurt people. Thats the ficticious part. But the rituals in the movie are close to that of a Wiccan and the owner of the occult shops advice (what ever you put out comes back times three) is what makes this movie get back to reality.

Summary: Purely Entertaining...Wiccans Chill Out!
Review: I really, really, really like this movie, and I own it. Ibeleive in witchcraft and practice it. That does not take a witch todo that.

This movie was made to make $$ and to be entertaining. Please just enjoy the special effect and talented actresses in the movie. Please just enjoy the movie END

Summary: It was Okay, if you like that kind of stuff
Review: This movie was decent and had some good parts but it also was cliche in a lot of parts. I can't say it was really scary, but they made an effort. If you just looking for some short-term entertainment it would be good but if you are looking for really outstanding movies try something else.

Summary: Unrealistic, but entertaining
Review: This movie was okay for entertainment value, but in no way was any of it real withcraft. I study wicca myself, so this movie was just a little annoying to me. The flying around, crazy wind, and changing of face, eyes, hair, whatever was just way too fake. Witchcraft is a very carefully practiced ritual through positive faith in your prayers and meditations. Nevertheless, I have the DVD and it is a pretty good movie. For those wannabe witches out there though; I suggest you buy books on real wicca, tarot card reading, palmistry, getting in touch with your inner spirit or guardian angel just to get started, instead of trying to copy this movie. The things that the girls in this movie are doing (light as a feather, stiff as a board) are things that me and my friends were acting out when I was 12 years old!

Summary: This movie ROCKS!
Review: Four social outcasts form a coven when they learn how to use their special powers but when they start using their powers to kill people, they get what's coming to them. Great flick with great effects, a great cast, style and flair. Popcorn, Pepsi and Pizza.

Summary: great for some,a waste of time for others
Review: this movie was great to me.good for people who like witchcraft.but to others this would be a total waste of money.not too scary, either

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Movie! (but Some DVD technicial problems)
Review: No matter what anyone says, this was a great movie. It IS aimed toward teens, but good none the less! I would suggest this for anyone who likes a suspenseful or good "teen-revenge" movie. Great start for Neve Campbell!
Note For all of you DVD watchers: This movie has some video problems in the Menus. (I have to use an RF to Audio/Video converter and the signal cuts out when you try to use the menus, which doesn't happen in any other movie.) There is no english subtitles, just Spanish and Korean. Also note that this was obviously one of the first DVDs made, because Columbia Shoved a "Preview Reel" in the first chapter of the disc and it has no bonus features at all.
