Summary: Great
Review: Freddy's back and you better not fall asleep. This time, Freddy returns and trys to get into the real world through one young man. The film is a standard freddy film but a good one and the deaths are fantastic. WELCOME BACK FRED!

Summary: Pretty Stupid
Review: i think this film was confusing. I had no idea what the hell was going on. The only good part was that it was a freddy movie because frankly freddy rocks!

Review: Part 2 picks up I'm not sure but I think 2 to 5yrs latter on I feel is just as good as the 1st one I know some people don't like it but I do and to me that is all that counts. the story about a teenage boy and his family move in to Nancy's old house and has nightmares about FREDDY KRUGER and his trying take over the boys body and use him to do his killing. I love Kim Myers she is not bad looking but to bad no nude sences. the story was good Freddy was bad and best of all he was kept in the shadows. from part 3 on to part 7 (I think) the movies were not bad but then they had him cracking one-liners and that I was not found of I mean this is supposed to be a horror movie not a comedy. I highly recommend this movie.

Summary: Freddy is still scary but it has some flaws...
Review: "A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge" is a good flick, no doubt about that, Freddy is still scary before turning into a comic, but there is something about this film in which many people hate it. Could it be that none of the first film's cast is in it? Could it be that it totally contradicts the first film's story about being killed in dreams? or could it be that the hero screams like a big bad girl? The plot picks up 5 years after the events in that weird house on Elm Street. Nancy has moved out long ago and now a new family has moved in, and not long after, Freddy (Robert Englund) begins to possess the oldest son, Jesse (Mark Patton), intent on being brought out into the real world to kill again. Only his girlfriend, Lisa (Kim Myers) could help him defeat Freddy before his revenge is complete, although I don't know WHO he is taking his revenge out on considering Nancy isn't in this at all. Oh well, some slight difficulties in an otherwise good film. It does have it's scares! The cast is ok, Kim Myers does a good job, she is my second favorite heroine in the series, although Mark Patton tends to overact a bit and he needs to brush up on his screaming skills! This film is for die-hard NOES fans only, if you want a complete story, skip this and go straight to number 3.

Review: NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2: FREDDY'S REVENGE is just that his revenge, he is back and badder than ever part 2 lived up to part 1 and this time it takes place 5 yrs later and a new family has moved into Nancy's old house, and FREDDY starts haunting and scarying the new boy in town I love this movie because it has all the elements that part 1 had. the only part I was disappointed on was that we(or I should say me) didn't get to see KIM Myers Nude. that sex scene wasn't long enough. OH WELL, we can't have ever thing. Anyway I suggest that if haven't allready buy this movie you won't be sorry.

Summary: FREDDYS REVENGE!
Review: It isnt as good as the original but damn near it. It has all the suspense of the first one and still has that creepy atmosphere but it starts you off with a whole new story and family leaving you wondering what ever happened to nancy. I just think they should have continued the story with Nancy and if they didnt want to they could have at least gave a little more detail concerning where she had gone or what happened to her. That is the only thing that keeps this movie from getting five stars. The plot is pretty good. Freddy is trying to possess the body of the teenage boy who lives in the Krueger house. All of the horror elements are there. Atmosphere,Suspense and a whole lotta gore. It may not be as good as the original but still deserves to be praised for being one of the greater Horror movies of the 80s

Summary: Enjoyable on it's own right
Review: Spoilers ahead.Read with caution.

Surprisingly,Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2-Freddy's Revenge, nearly isn't as bad as people say it is.It's pretty cool, actually. For some crazy reason,I liked this better than NOES 1.Freddy's in it for about 20 minutes instead of the unbearably short 10 minutes of the first movie. His face make-up is very gross and he's even darker than in the first movie. His one-liners are pretty cool ("You've got the body,I've got the Brain") and he looks neat with razors embedded into his fingers. The special F/X are a little better than the F/X from the original. The scene where Freddy crawls out of Jesse's body is really cool and the infamous pool party scene is awesome. The ending is still a bit of a letdown, but it's certainly much better than the ending from the original.Overall,NOES Part 2 is actually pretty cool.Given the choice,I'd rather watch it than NOES 1.It's a fun carnival ride.Rent it to kill some time.Rated R for gruesome horror violence, strong language and brief sexuality.

Summary: The Sequel everyone waited for!
Review: This sequel had high expectations when it first came out,and although it didnt live up to all of them it was still a very entertaining movie. This movie bombed at the box office, but I think a lot of people didnt give it a chance because Wes Craven didnt have anything to do with it. The movie was really very entertaining and had all the things that makes a horror movie a horror movie. Violence, no sex this time around but it did have a little foreplay. The plot was pretty good, A new family moves to elm street because they got the house so cheap (I wonder why! ) The familys teenage son begins having nightmares about krueger trying to get him to kill for him. Rated R for violence but isnt as bad as the first one, and a little bit of language. Overall this movie lives up as a sequel but isnt as good as the first one.

Summary: Quite disapointing
Review: Expectant horror sequel to the box office Nightmare On Elm St starring Robert Englund and Heather LangenKamp. The storyline isn't too bad, it's what one expected really. 5 years have now passed and a new family have moved into the house of Nancy who has now moved. Little knowing of it's past...they soon find out. This film is quite tedious and is barely watchable but if you are a horror fan like I am you have to watch the film. Very boring with a terrible ending but I won't spoil that for you.

Summary: Has its moments.
Review: A teenaged boy and his family move into Nancy's house five years after the events which made the property an estate agent's nightmare to sell. Before long Freddy is lurking about, planning to use the boy Jesse's body in order to enter reality.

This sequel is more akin to 'haunted house' films than the original Elm Street film. Aside from a stunning opening sequence involving a school bus hanging over a ravine, there is very little in the way of dream-like images. The mad bird scene is a genuine piece of gripping horror and there are a few fantasy-like creatures, but these are in almost complete darkness and on the screen for only a matter of seconds.

The homosexual undertones are unusual in this kind of film and add interest, even if they remain underdeveloped. However, parts of the film just fail to make sense, and the tedious 'final showdown' with Freddy is a complete cop-out.
