Summary: Degrades the name of Jason Voorhees
Review: This film was terrible! The plot was completely horrible (if there even was one.) With the title "Jason in MANHATTAN", you would think some of the movie would be in NY. Only about 20 minutes is in NY, the rest is on a boat. The only good things about the movie was the fact of seeing future stars like Kelly Hu(The Scorpion King),and Ken Kirzinger who is the stunt coordinater of the film and was thrown through a mirror or window by Jason. Interesting enough he is playing Jason this summer in Freddy vs. Jason. Don't buy this movie! buy any other movie from the Jason Voorhees line.

Summary: It could be worse
Review: This movie is bad. It features bad acting, and doesn't really tie in with anything in the series. It's not scary at all, and the scenes with Jason as a little kid just don't really fit the first 7, and the ending is less than good. It had some really funny parts, like when Jason comes to Manhattan and sees the giant billboard featuring someone wearing a hockey mask and he tilts his head while looking at it. Never before have I ever watched a Friday the 13th movie and said "Wow, that was cute", also when he walks past a gang in the city and they come after him and he scares them off by taking his mask off, that was very comedic. But that doesn't take away from the fact that this movie sucked, but hey, it could be worse.

Summary: The Best in the series!
Review: That's right, the killer that wouldn't die has stowed away on a ship from Crystal river to New York harbor only to seek blood in the big apple. Very entertaining, has some decent performances, killer 80's soundtrack and great violence makes this a very worthwhile entry in the slasher series and it has a place in my heart as my favorite in the series. Oh that's right! i forgot to mention, there are some more hot chicks including a hot asian babe.

Review: Not a bad sequel as people call it,it is not as bloody and violent like recent sequels,this is my best second chapter,I liked parts 6 and 9.This one takes place on a boat,with Jason murdering teens and then chases a handful of survivors on the streets of New York.

Review: THIS SOMEWHAT DISAPPOINTING AND LESS BLOODY ENTRY, HAS JASON ON A BOAT MURDERING TEENS AND THE FILM IS NOT IN MANHATTAN UNTIL THE END AND THAT IS ALL, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN MANHATTAN FOR THE WHOLE TIME IT WOULD HAVE BEEN COOL TO SEE JASON IN HOTELS,TOY STORES.BUT THIS FILM DESERVES SOME CREDIT FOR THE END BECAUSE JASON CHASES RENNIE AND SEAN IN TRAINS,A RESTAURANT,SEWERS,AND THEN HE DIES.NOT MUCH FUN LIKE PART 6.

Review: The original is still the best, but this is by far the funniest. I really don't like anything after the 2nd movie but this. Jason of course lays waste to a bunch of stupid teenagers before comming to the big apple for a little more murder and mayhem. Some of the funniest moments in the entire series. If you like watching stupid people hacked to pieces, check this out

Review: I saw Jason takes Manhatten it was way beyond words cool.
Call me crazy but I love the Friday the 13th series, Avoid five, go for 3, 6, 7, and 8, why do I say this because In those movies Jason is hot and hell of funny and those are the best ones out of the hole series. Friday the 13th three is by far the funniest one I ever saw in my life I love the part where the boxer gets his head knocked off and litterally thrown away in part eight not three, But as for all the movies they rock five was not all that great but I love the others, trust me if you like these movies then the ones I recomend are for you!!!!!!!!! Watch out Jason is coming to get you!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAH.....
