Summary: Friday the 13th Part 8 "Jason Takes Manhattan"
Review: This is the worst Friday the 13th ever made, I do agree, it has a few okay parts, but no greats. The Friday the 13th's are great movies, but this one just isn't that great, neithe is Friday the 13th Part 7 "The New Blood", those are the only too bad ones in the whole nine part series. It's still a got to have it type movie though, just so you can say you have it.

Review: What is the matter with reviewers? For years they complained that Friday 13th films were all gore and no plot. Then along comes one with a proper plot and very little gore and they criticise it because of it! You can't win sometimes.This is possibly the best of the Friday 13th series. Jason is awoken from under the lake and stalks a cruise ship before following the survivors to Manhatten. The characters are interesting and the film is filled with refreshingly new ideas and genuine chills. The new locations also help revitalize the Jason formula. Shame Part 9 ignored this film and returned the Friday 13th series to downhill mode.

Review: The violence in this one is not dipicted in graphic detail like in part 9, and deffanantly not like in part 1 and 4.

Review: Friday the 13th part VIII is the ultimate sleeping aid. If your an insomniac and are in desperate need of sleep- watch this movie. Although i have got to admit it has got some good bits in it. I'd rather see another friday movie though.

Review: ...If he killed all the people that he followed to NYC? Here's why I say, he could have gone on a virtual killing spree while he was in the subway car, and in the restaurant. So if he killed the last 2 kids from Crystal lake, I believe he'd get coffee at the diner and pay for the damage he did to that nice mirror. Only 12 seniors in the entire school? Wow. Sorry so critized, but its fun and 4 stars
