Summary: A Brilliant Trailer
Review: I've only seen the trailer for this film, it felt like a breathe of fresh air for me. The exterior of the Myers house felt like the first Myers House. The interior looks like how it would look after the events of the first two films and not furnished like in 6 and looking WAY diffrent like in 5. The trailer as a whole is Brilliant, but the best part is in the middle when the voiceover guy says "But the house belongs to him..." and then flash cut to some of the characters screaming and a webcam shot of Michael coming towards you in his methodical gait with only a flashlight pin spot on his upper body with the Halloween 4 Theme underscoring. Another kewl part is at the very end when Michael bursts out of what a appears to be a mirror grabbing the guy from American Pie and of course MISS Jamie Lee Curtis confronting her brother again...for one last time? Guess you'll have to see the film to find out.

Summary: AWESOME Trailer! One of the best Halloweens I predict....
Review: Okay, whatever slander and what not you have heard about this movie, TOTALLY disregard it because I saw the trailer yesterday and I was jumping out of my seat! Michael is back and he is [MAD], the mask is awesome! I am a diehard Halloween fan and this looks like one the best since 1 and 2, even though Halloween: H20 was a very good movie, this one will be better. Especially since it brings back Laurie Strode, now I can't tell you whether she is going to die or not but I know for a fact, that you will not find the Halloween 8 script they actually used, because they had 2 different beginnings and endings so anything is possible!! Jamie Lee Curtis came in at the end of the trailer in full "Linda Hamilton"(Terminator 2), she looks almost like what she looked like in the first movie because she has long hair, I don't want to give away any of her lines that are said in trailer, you can see the trailer for yourself, search Yahoo! Movies, you'll find it there! SEE THIS MOVIE! YOU WON'T BE DISSAPPOINTED!

Summary: Halloween: Resurrection
Review: Halloween is my favorite series all-time.The original Halloween was spooky more so with it's atmosphere and Donald Pleasance's acting and the way they used Michael Myers and the darkness. The Tv version of Halloween is the best version where it add's the scenes with the review board about Michael Myers and the scene with Michael as a kid and Dr Loomis. The soundrack of the original Halloween is part of what made it so scary. Halloween 2 and H20 are the only Halloween movies to approach the original by being scary and cool Halloween 2 - This along with the original and H20 are my favorites. Halloween 2 continued the spooky atmosphere of the original. They used Michael Myers perfectly in Halloween 2 in the hospital scenes and the music was updated and remastered which was a plus. The scenes in the hospital were the spookiest scenes in the Halloween series. The series started to get a little gory with this installment it was ok though because the movie was great. Halloween 3 - I will wait to see this again before writing a review but I used to hate it too because it was a non-Michael Myers movie. Halloween 4 - Spooky movie and had some of the atmosphere of the first two. Donald Pleasance was great in making you think he survived the fire from Halloween 2. The guy who played Michael Myers wasn't as good as the one's in part 1 and 2 but he was better then the one's in parts 5 and 6. They made Michael a little too supernatural as far as strength and the gore was a little too much but a good movie. I would rate it 4th best to part 1,2 and H20. Halloween 5 - The worst of the Michael Myers Halloweens. The guy who played Michael Myers was too big and just didn't make you think it was actually Michael Myers. They didn't even get the house down right. It was more of a gothic mansion. The acting was horrible except for Danielle Harris and Donald Pleasance. Even Dr Loomis was a little annoying in this movie. Halloween 6 - This was more of a supernatural Michael Myers one. Yet again the guy who played Michael was way off and a little too built. The scary thing about this one was the house and the atmosphere. Much better on my list then part 5. I would rank pat 6 above parts 3 and 5 and below part 4. Halloween H20 - Great return of Halloween. Some scenes with Jamie Lee were annoying but this film was a quality one like part's 1 and 2. The guy who played Michael was the best Michael Myers since part 2. The spooky scenes really did spook especially in the beginning when they killed the nurse from part 1. I think they killed the wrong girl though the brunette was a better actress in H20 then Jamie's son's girlfriend in the movie. The atmosphere was spooky and the ending was really shocking. They never really killed Michael before for all the gunshots and fire and stabbings Michael has received. I think it is a decoy and it either wasn't Michael, it was and the killer is Jamie lee now or it was a whole dream scene. The last two Halloweens were pretty good as far as the scares go so I think Ressurection will be just as good. I think they are being bold and trying to tell a new story and that is a good thing. I will wait and see the movie but I am looking forward to it. It sounds like a new take on Halloween, a bunch of teens meet in the Myers house and it involves the internet. Pretty cool idea. I just hope it don't get too silly with Busta Rhymes and Tyra Banks. I think Tyra can act but Busta brings a whole silliness that can mess up the movie.

Review: I think this film should be good, it has young good actors, You have the guy from American Pie he had one of the lead roles in that movie and I like the way he came through in his acting, Busta Rhymes should be good as well I heard he did pretty good in The Shaft,
Jamie Lee Curtis of course the main one in the whole Halloween series besides Loomis and The Shape. I like the plot, I like the fact that he's coming back home hungry, and I like that fact that Rick Rosenthal is back directing. I hope to hear some creepy Old school type horror music during the movie, I hope to see Michael Myers use some creative killings, and I hope it makes me jump alot,a little sense of humor not too much, a little of sex, beer drinking, blunt smoking and many deaths. Even how bad the movie really turns out to be this is what I would expect, It will be one of the best horror flicks we've seen in years. So I give it a 4

Review: I know what all of you are thinking..they are killing this series to death but in all reality how do you know that Michael is really dead? In H2O if you remember there is a big hop from when Jamie stabs Michael in the chest and he falls off the balcony and when the cops load him in the ambulance...what actually happened? hey your guess is as good as mine but from what Im hearing Michael switched clothes with a ambulance worker and the guy u saw Jamie cut his head off was not michael at all.... [The] movie will be awesome simply because Michael is in it and so is Laurie...the only knocks I have on it are Tyra Banks and Busta Rhymes? Gimme a break but other then that it should be awesome and oh by the way remeber Lindsay Wallace? she will come back in this movie also This could be the second best of the series except for Halloween 1

Review: I just want to say that i am a huge michael fan, its just that since H2O was a pretty good movie,i don't want this next one to mess up the series. i don't think it will live up to all the hype, but i am pretty sure that it will be a good flick since i read the beginning of the script and its pretty awesome and sylish.

Review: I've read the script for this movie. And there were a couple of things that I didn't like about it. Laurie Stode is killed off right at the beginning and isn't even given a respectable death. With her final words being really stupid and corny. I didn't mind the characters chosen to be part of the live broadcast, because most of them die anyways. The scares in this are bad, u know... the cheap "boo" ones, where it isn't actually the killer but just one of their friends. I really hope they remove the line that Busta Ryhmes says after he kicks Micheal Myers: "Weren't expecting me to kung fu your ass, were you?" Ahhhhh. There was a cop character with the name Donaldson, which i thought would have some essence of Dr. Loomis in him, but he didn't. And his role in it because of his character, just didn't seem necessary. He didn't help forward the story and didn't even end up being any help in the end. But if they were to change him into a Dr. Loomis type character, then i would have some interest. I'm not sure what to expect with the final version of the movie, I just hope it doesn't end up being a Scream-type knockoff as H2O was. The thing i don't understand, is that if the Micheal Myers who was killed at the end of H2O was actually a paramedic, then it would of had to have been the real Micheal Myers the entire time before that. But if you notice in H2O, Micheal Myers hands do not have burn marks but in every other Halloween film after Halloween 2 (where he was set on fire at the end), he does have them. If they were to bring him back for Halloween 8, then wouldn't they have to say that, that wasn't Micheal Myers at all in H2O??? u know what i mean. Sure, i can look past that, because it does seem confusing, but halloween fans will surely notice that, as I have. I think that the whole reality tv formula with cameras, sounds very creepy. I just hope they pull it off in the right way. But what i think would be ultimately cool to see, is have Laurie Strode supposively die at the beginning of the movie, then at the end of the picture, have Laurie Strode actually end up being the Micheal Myers in this movie. Then, that could leave us with a creepy feeling, knowing that the "real" Micheal Myers is still out there, and that in fact, Laurie Strode had became what she feared most, her brother! I think that is really cool. Just an idea, so i'm not sure if that will actually happen. So right at this point, I am hoping that after reading the script and knowing that this movie has undergone re-shoots, that it will end up being a really good movie, and one that it close to being as good as the original Halloween or even Halloween 4. Because those two are the greater ones in the series. Therefore, I give Halloween: Resurrection three stars. It isn't good but it isn't bad. Also, I liked the title "The Homecoming" better. The title "Resurrection" has been done before. But whatever...
