Summary: Worth watching.
Review: Some years after Part 6 of this series, Jason is still chained to the bottom of Camp Crystal Lake. That is until a girl with unusual psychic powers accidentally unchains him and he is let loose again.

This film has a stunning opening sequence, a great climaxing battle, Jason at his most horrific, and an interesting plot involving psychokinesis, but said storyline is constantly playing second fiddle to the usual load of gormless, sex-mad teenagers who turn up at the lake and are killed off one by one. To make matters worse, the death scenes are very bog-standard and uninteresting compared to those in previous films. The title music is great, very sinister, but most of the incidental music throughout the film is just recycled from previous Friday 13th movies. Not a bad film, the special effects and atmosphere make it far more entertaining than the early Friday 13ths. It just could have done with a little more imagination thrown in.

Summary: The movie that i grew up with
Review: Hey everyone my name is Ryan Schreiber, i'm 14 and when i was about the age of 6-7 i would go to my grandfathers house and we would watch scary movies, one being my favorites was Jason movies, Micheal Myers, and other ones like Gohls or how ever you spell it. but this one is the one that i grew up with, it has a saucy story line about a girl (Tina) who has telekenisis or however you spell it. And when she was very young she got mad at her father and she killed him using her powers then her mother discovered her powers so she decied to commit her to a mental hostpital, about 13 years later she goes back to vist the place where she killed him. one night she tried to raise him using her powers and she waked the dead and she started a whole lot of stuff. But over all i think it is a good movie. Every kid should be able to watch Jason movies..

Summary: JASON VORHEES Meets CARRY WHITE.
Review: Part VIII, I don't know how this series still lives on. Well, they sure tried something different this time around.
Plot: When Jason returns from where he left off in the previous part (which I can't remember), he finds an unexpected guest awaiting him... this young guest happens to have Telekinetic powers (what else!)
It's like "King Kong Vs Godzilla", but here we have more blood and chaos...

Summary: It`s Plays more like, It`s Carrie meets Friday the 13th.
Review: It`s has been some time (Again) that Jason is Dead. When a Bright but Confused and Scared Teenage Girl named Tina (Lar Park Lincoin), who has Powers of Telekinetic. When She uses her Ability to Bring her Father back to Life, after Regreting Killing her Father by Accident but When she did uses her Powers, she Brings Jason Voorhees`s Back to Life-Instend of her Father. Jason is Back to stalk and murder upon the young and old.

Directed by Make-Up Artist:John Carl Buechler made a Decent Entertaining Sequel (Although he tries to give it a fresh look) but The Acting is Weak and the Direction is Actually much more Weaker but this Seventh Film in the Series is Inexplicably Popular with the Fans. Jason is no longer Scary but he always have ways to kill people and teens in unique ways. The Plot is One of the Most Interesting Part of the Series but Suffers from Plot Holes, Ridiculous Special Effects (Sometimes unintentional funny) and Bad Editing. Although This one is still a Modest Hit at the Box Office. Kane Hodder made his first appearence as Jason and Terry Kiser is Best Known for the Silly Comedy-Weekend at Bernie`s, Who has a Supporting Role as a Obnoxious Psychatrist. This is a nice try for trying to make a change in the Series but not very sucessful one (Die-Hard fans of the Series might disagree). Grade:B-.

Summary: One of the series' scariest and most suspenseful.
Review: Lar Park Lincoln is a teenage girl with telekinetic powers who unfortunately awakens and releases Jason from his watery grave. This entry is actually one of the scariest, with lots of effective stalk-and-slash sequences, plenty of nudity, and even decent acting from Lincoln, who's probably the series' best and most likeable heroine. The climactic battle is a highly memorable showdown, and one of the series' top highlights. Could have overall had a bit more gore, however, as it does seem heavily cut in some spots.
*** 1/2 out of *****

Summary: Good Fun out of critical eye.
Review: Part VII is a good entry in the series. To be honest the first time I saw it, I started watching around 9:30, so by 11:00 when it was over I was a LITTLE tired of it, and would have rated it at roughly 1 star. It deserves a higher rating than that. The F13 sequels always have a little something extra in them that most horror sequels lack. I think it's called creativity. Yes this is a creative sequel. I am a rather jaded critic, and under a critical eye, this movie is not that great. But then again it was not made for a critical eye. It is a terrific summer flick for a rainy night.

Summary: Jason vs. Carrie
Review: A telekinetic girl accidentally helps serial killer Jason Voorhees escape from his watery grave.

Freddy Krueger from the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies was originally going to be Jason's nemesis in this flick. There were some problems between Paramount Pictures (who holds the rights to Jason Voorhees) and New Line Cinema (who holds the rights to Freddy Krueger), and as a result, there was no "Freddy vs. Jason" movie.

This installment in the "Friday the 13th" series is slow at certain parts of the movie. The good things about this movie are the special effects--they are truly excellent--and Kane Hodder's portrayal of Jason.

Summary: Friday the 13th VII: The New Blood
Review: In this 1988 installment, we meet Tina Shepherd. She has telekinetic abilities, but one night, when her father came home drunk and slapped her mother, her telekinesis went out of control and killed her dad. Years later, she returns to where it happened...Camp Crystal Lake. The first night there, she accidentally revives Jason Voorhees in an attempt to revive her dad. Now, she must use her powers to go one-on-one with the Hockey-Masked assailant in a battle of brains vs. brawn.

Despite what critics say about it, this entry is a classic. The murder scenes are great and easily the best murder sequences of the entire series. The music is dark and brooding, as is the film. However, the film doesn't go without one problem: Acting. Overall, most of the acting sucked. Lar Park Lincoln and Kevin Blair, our heroes, were not very believable in their performances. Susan Blu didn't do any better either and even Terry Kiser stinks in this movie. Elizabeth Kaitan(Robin)is alright, but not much better than the others, Susan Jennifer Sullivan(Melissa)is ridiculous. This film goes with only 2 good actors. William Butler, who plays Michael(He was also in LEATHERFACE: THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE III)is pretty good, but the best performance comes from Stuntman-Actor Kane Hodder, who plays the Hockey-Masked Jason. He's perfect for the role. His burly 6'3 stature makes him one imposing [guy]. His movements, his breathing and his power makes him the one and only Jason Voorhees, and with the addition of a kick-[in] look(Easily Jason's best look of the series), he is the #1 man on this film.

I definetly recommend this film. My favorite sequel(JASON X might change that)and one of the best, most creative entries in this series.
