Summary: A good sequel to a great film
Review: Taking place the same night of its predecessor, Halloween 2 gives the viewers more of the night Michael Myers came home to Haddonfield, Ilinois. The town shooken up by the sudden discovery of three corpses in the upstairs bedroom of the Brackett house, across from the Doyle house, and after being shot six times and falling out of the upstairs bedroom of the Strode house and to the frontyard, Michael is on the prowl yet again. Yet this time the Haddonfield police force are searching Haddonfield for him, as is Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence), and Sheriff Brackett, come back from the first movie. Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) is taken to Haddonfield Memorial Hospital from her wound in the shoulder, and multiple contusions, as well as the fact that she's traumatized from being hunted by a serial killer for half the night, and having her friends being killed off by him doesn't help either. However, the horror isn't over yet, as we all know evil never dies...... The Universal release of Halloween 2 benches the Goodtimes version. This is a lot better, with Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround Sound, as well as the original widescreen aspect ratio of 2.35.1. With a chilling new score remixed by John Carpenter himself, and produced by John Carpenter as well as the returning Halloween 1 producer, Debra Hill, and new thrilling kills and a different actor as Michael, Halloween 2 gives you a frightening good time. It loses 2 points for not having the same actor as Michael, and Michael seemingly has a haircut, and he also has blonde hair. I also would've liked to hear the original theme instead of a remix at the end, and the "stalking" theme is replaced by a frightening remix, which I don't really like.

Summary: I Still Hate Hospitals Because of This Movie
Review: No sequel could have lived up to the original Halloween, but this sequel is not too bad at all. The problem is that it has a different feel than the original since this was made after movies like Friday The 13th came out. This movie feels like a mixture of Friday The 13th and the original Halloween..... higher body count, more gore, Michael covering huge amounts of territory by walking slowly and yet still intercepting his next victim. You get the feeling that had this sequel been made right after the first Halloween, it could have been better. But as it is, it's definitely a good follow-up and should be viewed in succession with the original. This Goodtimes DVD isn't too bad, the picture is a little off on the hues and it's not too sharp (no 16x9), but it's decent. The sound is pretty clear too. Recommended.

Review: Halloween 2 is really the extension of Halloween. I remember the first time I saw it in the theater. It was Halloween night in 81, and the theater was packed. There were people standing around the walls and every chair was full. Every time something scary happened, the place would go wild. That really added something scary to the movie. Jamie Lee was wonderful in this one and Donald Plesance was great as usual. Michael was scary stalking the hospital corridors. I loved the soundtrack, and how they made the original even more scary in the opening scene by slowing down the music. The parts they could have done without was the hot tub scene. No nurse is gonna do something so stupid as that. I am however so glad that Myers killed Bud. He was such a dweeb. My favorite part was the chase scene between Laurie and Michael. She runs as if in a nightmare, and he walks his methodical walk. The ending was great and I was thrilled to see him come back for more in Halloween 4, but I liked Halloween 7 H2o much more and consider it a sequel to this trilogy.

Summary: Great Scares!
Review: This second installment was smartly put together and it was full of scares. I remember well the first time I saw it in the movies, it scared me to death. The best part was when he was chasing Laurie Strode at the end. I love the alternate ending where Jimmy is in the ambulance, it adds something to the movie. There was too much gore and unnecessary bad language in this movie, it would have been just a good without it. Michael Myers was great as usual in this film, and this is the one that reveals that Laurie is Michael's sister. This was a great setup for the fourth installment. Loomis was great in this film as well.

Summary: MY FAVORITE HORROR MOVIE EVER! AWESOME!
Review: This was the first movie I saw in the Halloween series, and I still think it is the best. It is reconized as the best sequel to Halloween (I think it is a little better than the original) and as one of the greatest slasher movies of the 80's. It is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing.
In the end of Halloween, the evil maniac, Michael Myers was shot off a balcony, but escaped. His doctor, Dr. Loomis is trying to hunt him down and destroy him for good. Taking place on the same night Halloween left off, this one has victim, Laurie Strode being taken to Haddonfield Memorial Clinic for her wounds. Michael Myers has tracked her down and the hospital staff become Michael's newest victims, but Dr. Loomis is hot on his trail. But on the way he figures out the motive behind Michael's savage actions! Laurie Strode is Michael Myers' sister!
You will have to watch the movie to catch all the thrills. I would recommend this to horror fams worldwide!

Summary: Bloodier Than Before
Review: This is one of the 1980s most needlessly gratuitous blood-'n-gore flicks. The admirable restraint of John Carpenter's original film is entirely lacking in Rick Rosenthal's sequel. Continuity begins to become a problem in the series starting with this film, by virtue of Michael Meyers' becoming a connoisseur killer for no particular reason. For all these flaws, though, the film is still nail-bitingly suspenseful. The story is clever, providing murderer Michael with a motivation and introducing some interesting backstory. Jamie Lee Curtis continues to play the beleaguered heroine with sympathy, and Donald Pleasance, as always, is fabulous. The effects are good, even if the blood and gore are way, way overdone. The explosive finale is terrific. The color is especially rich. John Carpenter and Alan Howarth's frenetic music score is essentially the same one used in the first movie, but better orchestrated and more full-bodied. Maybe not better the second time around, but still worth a look - especially for fans of the series.
