Rating: Summary: Jason's Out There... Review: For those who don't know, this is the fourth installment in the series. The title is a bit misleading, this is not the final chapter! This is a great movie. The only problem I have with the DVD is that you only get to see it in the Wide Screen version, in which everything looks 'narrower' than it should. It sucks that we can't see it in Full Screen (at least the first Nightmare On Elm Street DVD gives you a choice between the two). But aside from that, fans of gruesome gore will love this movie! What can I say about Jason? He's as vicious as ever (check out the first murder scene, where he butchers that doctor and then twists his head completely around). And fortunately, you get to see plenty of nude shots (mostly women, thank God). Those two British twins are BEYOND sexy! The plot is pretty typical, but that doesn't matter. I don't think anyone really cares about the plot anyway. Here, Jason is found dead, from the previous movie, and taken to the morgue, where he of course comes back to life and starts his rampage all over again. A young Corey Feldman gives a good performance here as Tommy Jarvis. He, his sister and his mother have rented a house by Crystal Lake. Soon, they get some neighbors in the form of young, horny, partying teens. As you might've guessed, they all get slaughtered one by one. That is, until young Tommy puts a stop to Jason in a fabulous ending. I won't spoil it for you, though.
Rating: Summary: the final chapter-it better be Review: Steve miner steps down and reflects on his jobs on part 2 & 3 and says im done with these friday films theyre rubbish!.this isnot as well done at all as the origanal i see not really any difference between any of the sequences so far not a real change in the story line or any decent death scenes just basic repeats. When we see the new chapter start we all best be in for something decent and maybe we should get halloween director john carpenter to have a go hed liven up the poorley made friday 13ths
Rating: Summary: Best of the Friday films Review: Part 4 was (in my opinion) the best of the bunch. Lots of blood, nudity and even Crispin Glover! Corey Feldman is annoying but we do get the old Teddy Bear who is funny and flashes us his bum. Jason escapes the morgue and is back with a vengeance! Nothing new here, just good ole reliable Jason killing teens. Here let me put this in the old computer...
Rating: Summary: It was the Final Chapter, but not the Final Friday Review: I rented like 5 Jason movies from the video store cause I didnt see them, when I watched this one Im like a kid is gonna kill Jason, Im like I cant wait till the end.In the movie when jason killed peaple they didnt show him, they only showed his feet, but toward the end they started to show him, they were couple cheesy parts to this movie but the plot and setting was good.
Rating: Summary: Its O.K Jason you will be back!!!!!!!! Review: Let me just sum it up, Jason comes back and goes on a killing spree and is totalled into mush in the end. Don't worry he will be back. Go out and buy it.
Rating: Summary: Ahhhhhhh! My Goodness, Is That Where My Brain Went Review: Footnote: Official Actual Review: 0 stars (0 Star Rating)(Drug-flagrant accent provided complimentarily free of charge) Let's see let's see, let's see, let's see. Pass me the nachos man. Hmmm, the film does have a plot you know. Good very good, it involves some sort of undead drowned child thats metamorphosed into an homicidal adult. Yeah, he enjoys sticking table legs into making-out couples you know for just a few laughing fits and starts and that's really very knarly man. Talk about real chicobobing woozer. The undead dude appears to have in his zone this nerdy kid who looks too freakily like that Corey Feldmen guy you know that guy who was on that vampire movie with the 24 Kiefer meaga bad guy, the Lost Dudes wasn't it. Anyway, man that Feldman cat has some sort of passion for make-up and stuff and he's only a child after all so he's very difficult to kill you know. So the body count after all is rather large in this one dude, not as large as the other 13th movies budro but it was good enough. The karo syrup just kept on coming wooooo!!! They also didn't change the music, the deepness, the big drama of chicks, rad dudes that get toatally all the babes, or the lighting or that far out sweetness of the other Friday the 13th's far out man. It was way to sissy tender when there was this huge connection between Jason and the kid. Yet hey man it a Jason movie we don't need the homiciadial detox, man bring on that motherload. There's shower murders that you know about, all sorts killings tons and tons of killing everything a growing dude you know dude needs. Pass me the Lays man. Yo man, I'm so completely not stoked about this being the last chapter of this thing series after all. I was hoping there would have at least dude eight or nine or these man that would have totally rocked man. Peace out. As for the DVD options man of Joesph Zito's Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, it contains a theatrical buzzer short movie jobbie, and absolutely nothing else nada additonally. Now that's smoking. P.S. Wouldn't it be sweet if the Dead Jason dude wore those psychadelic Jerry Garcia ties as he's slices people into smithereens bud. Now that would be really awesome.
Rating: Summary: Boring and not enough killing Review: This movie is slow-paced and boring. The focus is on teenagers trying to get laid in the woods. There was not enough of Jason Vorhees and his killing spree. Wait 'till Jason vs. Freddy Part II if you want to see some real Jason violence. This was worse than Bride of Chuckie. If that's even possible.
Rating: Summary: Not bad at all Review: This movie is pretty good i give it four stars because of it's sequels. Jason can't live from that. They should've have stopped it after this. The sequels were good but i just don't think it was a good idea for them.
Rating: Summary: The Not-So Final Chapter Review: While this isn't the final chapter by a long shot it's still one of the best films in the Friday the 13th series. I thought it was sad to see Jason get killed by Tommy Jarvis...I hated that kid. The party also dragged on for too long and there was little Jason action in between but those are my only complaints. If you're a fan of the series then you would have definatley seen this one but if you're not a fan check it out anyway...you might like it.
Rating: Summary: Undoubedtly the best in the series. Review: Picking up right where part 3 left off, Jason is taken to a local hospital, thought to be dead. There he is revived and starts his killing spree all over again. This time he sets his sights on a group of teens who rented a house for the weekend, who are unaware that Jason is near. This one is a little different. The teens that Jason kills are in a house this time instead of camp like in the previous installments (the filmmakers would return to the camp one last time in part 6: Jason Lives). I love this film alot. Tom Savini's makeup is definitley the best in the series and Corey Feldman is awesome as young Tommy Jarvis, the character who would retun in the next two installments. All in all, one of the best Horror films ever made.
