Summary: Well the gore is great. 3.5 Stars
Review: The gore is all this film has going for it. Okay well the crash scene is very unsettling, because it's so real looking, and pile ups happen everyday, but then it goes downhill from there. The hilarious and mean spirited ending is also a plus. The film unfortunately packs one cliche after another. It's another slasher film, and what's funny about it, is that it is trying to scare you, and at that it fails miserably. Plot? Well if you've seen the first, this is exactly like it, except this one has more gore. If you haven't seen the first, then you have no business watching this one then. Remember sequels are just a cash in and not a movie of itself. Sorry Hollywood, visuals and gore only produce chuckles, and not screams. Mess with our mind, and don't put us to sleep. But there are far worse out there so I have to say this one isn't that bad.

Summary: Predictable, Overdone, Entertaining, Four Stars.
Review: I saw the first movie a couple of summers ago, and it creeped me out. It wasn't scary in that "Freddy Krugerish" way, but it was scary in that "this makes you think about your own unavoidable death" kind of way. However, I didn't remember much about the first movie, having only seen it once at a friend's house, so I saw this, the sequel, unbiased. The car crash left my mouth agape. It was quite powerful, and I swore that because of this movie and "Jeepers Creepers" I'd never in life take another road trip. But I digress. This film was excellent in the way it "introduced" all the major players before showing the way they were supposed to die, then following their characters a bit more in depth before they actually did die. The way the players were killed were creative, and the best part of the movie was trying to guess how the people would perish. Initially, the extreme gore was kind of shocking, but after four or five deaths, it took on a cartoonish, exaggerated vibe. Additionally, the deaths were overdone, and very much so: would a pane of glass falling on a person splatter them onto the sidewalk and onto all the bystanders, or would it actually shatter? The actors didn't have the best chemistry, but it seems as if they did their best with the script they had been given. The film had a few weird moments, like Tony Todd looking straight into the camera and smiling (what was that all about?), and it did answer the question: "What ever happened to Kyle from 'Living Single'?", but basically it was a gore-fest. If you can get beyond the gratuitous blood and guts, there is a deep story in this movie, namely that nobody can escape death no matter what. It's quite a thought, and if there had been more thought in this movie and less fake blood, it would have gotten five stars from me.

Summary: THE ALL SO GRIM REAPER RETURNS
Review: This is one INTENSE movie. Whether it's totally credible or too gory, it packs a wallop. Director David Ellis' choreography of the opening pileup is devastating. I found myself cringing as each vehicle rammed into the other; the sound was incredibly realistic. A damned good opening for a film that is far superior to its predecessor. Why that works, at least for me, is that the deaths are staged so carefully, how one coincidence after the other, adds up to ironic fatalities. Take for instance the scene where David Paetkau as the lottery winning Evan sets in stage his doom. He almost falls over toys scattered in the hallway; he throws some old spaghetti out of his window; knocks a magnet into the remaining spaghetti; and it just goes on. He gets his new Rolex stuck in the sink's garbage disposal; sets the place on fire, manages to get out the apartment on the fire escape...and then, well won't spoil what happens then. The incident with the pigeons is likewise eerily staged. At each point you expect something to happen, it doesn't, and when the final denouement occurs, you sit there with jaw agape, wondering how this could happen. The cast while certainly not Oliviers or Streeps, is adequately embodied: Ali Later returns as Clear River, the survivor from the first film; A.J. Cook is a strong lead as Kimberly--she uses her eyes very well; Jonathan Cherry as the cocaine addicted Rory is an affable, if somewhat of a loser; Lynda Boyd as Nora faces a grim scene in the elevator that is equally frightening in its tenacious grip on suspense; Keegan Connor Tracy as the somewhat dimwitted Kat finds out the hard way about airbags; and Michael Landes as the dashing young cop is effectively charming. Although the "Carrie-ish" ending is predictable, it still packs an "explosive" finish.
This is a real treat for fans of movies where the suspense is laid out with signs and foreshadowings. I loved it.

Summary: Can thy have moregruesome deaths?
Review: Final Destination 2 is one of the movies that make the sensitives cringe in ABSOLUTE horror.
In the beginning, Kimberley, a young teen going on a Road Trip with three of her friends sees something she'll never forget.
She sees herself, in the car with her friends, swerving and flipping over as logs from a log truck fly over the road, impaling a cop, causing a bike driver to be crushed by his own bike, several cars to explode and subsequently be smashed into by another semi.
But it's all a dream. Until she notices everything from the dream is coming true, the hobo, Highway To Hell on the radio, and the school bus shouting 'Pile Up'. She parks the car, blocking the On-Ramp, and gets out of the car, when suddenly cars just up the road begin to explode.
A cop pulls her back just in time as a semi crashes through her SUV, killing her friends.
She thanks her lucky stars, until one oft he survivors, a lotto winner, dies, impaled through the head by a Fire Escape ladder.
And so she investigates, and the survivor's band together to defeat the Grim Reaper, and smash his sadistic plan to bits.
Cringe moments include- girl with pole through head, kid getting crushed by glass pane, ladder through head, burnt bodies etc.
What's good about this FD, is that most of the characters are good-looking, but aren't teens. Only two or so are teenagers, so it seems kinda like Scream 3, since all the characters in that are grown up too.
MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST SEE!

Summary: Terrible, Just Like The first One
Review: This is a movie that basicly says Hollywood is not as good as it used to be. And also this movie is geared towards and audience of 20 somethings that has been warped by watching nothing but MTV and would be stupid enough to believe what they saw in the movie and would accually believe that the reaper is after them. Plus They SEVERELY over exaggerated the blood-shed.
The only cool parts of it were the accident in the begining.( But when I watched that part again it sucked.)And the other cool part with the same results when i watched that part the second time was the when the window fell on the kid and crushed him. 2 parts cool once and sucked the second time.

Summary: Not Just A Simple Sequel
Review: From the commercials, one could easily believe that Final Destination is simply a retelling of the first story. In other words, a group of people cheat death and then are hunted down by death to set things right. But that would be wrong.

At first it seems that this is true. A young woman has a vision of a terrible highway accident and refuses to get on the highway. The people stuck on the ramp behind her do not get caught in the accident.

Unlike the first movie, Death does not wait. No one-month hiatus here. Saved victims immediately begin to drop. But again, this is not just more of the same. These people share a secret that they don't know about. A secret you will have to see the movie to find out.

Another difference is that there is more hope in this movie. Two characters return from the first movie; the only survivor and the mortuary worker. But there are more scenes of death not happening, of death happening in more unexpected ways and a little less of the Rube Goldberg style accidents (although I liked the pool ball and mousetrap).

Although the gore is a little more obvious (typical in a sequel) the plot is somewhat better due to the additional dimensions. The main character is also a relief. In the first movie, the hero sulked too much and never tried to explain things to the police. This time we have a hero who really works at surviving and saving others.

A very good film for horror fans.

Summary: Surprisingly good sequel!
Review: Of course, you must have some level of attraction to horror movies to like this one, even if it's more of a supense movie (except ther gore scenes).

The acting is good, the plot does not try to be more than it's possible to be according to the first movie. Entertaining and dreadful. After all, the "Killer" can't be seen by anyone! You may bet there'll be a third movie...

Summary: CAR CRASH HAPPENED SAME DAY AS FLIGHT 180 BLEW UP
Review: Final Destination 2 is about how you think you have cheated death but you cant cheat death twice!

Its the same day as Flight 180 blew up like a fireball in the night sky and Kimberley is going on a road trip with her friends and they start to travel but while on the road Kim has a deadly premonition of a terrible car crash-involved with falling logs-
and a drunk driver-and no one survives the horrifing crash!

But Kims friends think she is losing it-and even a cop comes to the car to see what is going on-Kim is trying to convince everyone that there is gonna be a accident-but the cop doesnt believe her-until the truck with the logs drives by and Kim says thats the truck thats gonna kill everyone!

And right after she says this-the accident happens-with cars piling up-fireballs are everywhere-and no one survived it!

So then death stalks the lucky ones who survived the accident-taking a lottery winner out by a fire escape ladder that goes through his eyeball-a young kid dies from a falling sheet of glass-a mother death by elevator that takes out her head-a young woman death by metal pipe through the head-a stoner death by flying fence-a black guy and Clear Rivers death by explosion in the hospital!

And one young kid-death by explosion from barbauce!

Final Destination 2 comes with great extras-including a card game where you can pick your fate-bringing death to life-bits and pieces of gore-and alot of other good stuff!

And it also comes with a feature of true stories of people who have died and come back to life again!

All in all-Final Destiation 2 is as exciting and chilling as the first one!

My favorite in the first movie is Billy Hitchcock-too bad he died from that piece of metal!

This section of this review is dedicated to Billy Hitchcock!

CAUSE IN THE END-NO ONE CAN ESCAPE DEATH-WHO KNOWS-TODAY MIGHT BE YOUR DAY OR NIGHT TO DIE!

Summary: Not a bad flick
Review: This movie, at least the first time you watch it will have you on the edge of your seat. From the beginning pile up to the many creative ways they chose to wipe out the victims, this movie is gut wrenching even to the biggest horror fan. But once you've seen it you might as well destroy it cuz it's just not the same the second time around. All in all, I'd say buy it, watch it once, and then just keep loaning it to friends for beer or whatever your pleasures are. I'm out, buy scarface and Limp Bizkit's "Results may vary".
