Summary: Shocking and Fun!
Review: I do not scream at scary movies, I just get all ansty and maybe cover my eyes, or just a little jump. This movie made me scream like a baby. It has some of the most unexpected shock moments that I have ever seen in a film. The premise is very interesting about a teenager who dreams that the plane he is on will explode, he then gets off the plane, and bam it explodes. Little did he know that death would keep on following him and his friends. One of the most riveting, intense, suspensful, and shocking movies I have seen in a long time. The acting is decent and the dilaogue is corny but you forgive all that when you have your first, second, third, and fourth scare. Loved it and I know you will too.

Summary: Inventive story, but just not for me
Review: I thought the story behind 'Final Destination' was great. It has some clever twists and turns. But the whole death issue was a bit too much for me. I don't want to think about that now! I can't watch this movie very often. Too depressing!

Summary: Excellent scary movie
Review: This is one of my favorite movies of all time. After seeing this movie I learned that it is possible to cheat death. They had an amazing cast. Devan Sawa, and Sean Williams Scott are just two of the many amazing people in this movie. Go rent this movie and see it, it's worth it!!!

Summary: Upbeat suspense + good acting = a good movie
Review: In "Final Destination," a high schooler named Alex (Devon Sawa) has a dream that something's about to happen. It turns out that what he just dreamed happens a few minutes later. Alex now knows that he has a gift that most people will probably not be all that fond of, but is there something more to these visions that he keeps seeing?

Before watching "Final Destination," I didn't know what to expect from it, but it sounded like an interesting movie from what I read about it. I thought it had good suspense, good acting, and that it was real interesting. It's not a movie that I liked so much that I want to see it over and over again, but it was a good movie. If you like horror or suspense movies in the least sense, watch or buy "Final Destination." I hope there's a sequel one day.

Summary: I Loved this movie!!!!!!
Review: I actually loved this movie because it was different, well written, and very innovative.I can can only speak for myself when I say that I have never seen anything like "Final Destination" .I didn't want to miss a moment of this movie because I just had to know who was going to die next. I love the whole "Cheating deaths design" theme. Devon Sawa was great in the movie, and I thought the whole movie was great.

Summary: Not bad.
Review: My friend worked at a theater at the time this was released so I got in for free. A friend and I went into it certain it was going to be one of those instances where you demand your money back even though you didn't pay in the first place. We were shocked to find out that it was actually an entertaining little flick.

Don't expect too much, I mean, it is still a teen thriller. At no time is it so suspenseful that you can't see a mile away what's coming next. But even at that it somehow manages to take what you already expect and add an abrupt ,and at times, violently gory spin on it. I applaud any movie with the ability to take something that I expect to happen and present it in a light that elicits a reaction almost as if I hadn't expected it.

All around "Final Destination" is a fun thriller. It stands on it's own in the non-stop flood of swill created by the mainstream success of such overated movies as "Scream" and "I Know What You Did blah, blah, blah". Another standout to look for is "Idle Hands" also starring Devon Sawa.

Summary: A good suspense movie...
Review: For the most part, I liked this movie. There's a good suspense factor that keeps your interest, because you're always wondering who will be next, and speculating how that particular person will die. A couple of the deaths are sudden, where you didn't even see it coming, while other death scenes are long and full of clues, where you're guessing how it will happen. It does make you think about death, because there's an emphasis on the reality that it can happen anytime, leaving you with a creepy feeling, so in that way it's very effective. The only thing I didn't like was the ending, but you'll have to see it for yourself. Final Destination is one of the better modern teen horror/suspense movies out right now.

Summary: Well, it made me laugh.
Review: I saw this movie in the theaters, and saw it again (not by choice) on DVD. Both times I felt that the film was more of a comedy than anything else. Anyone with any sense could predict what was going to happen next.

And that's the good part, because at least it was funny! The acting was terrible, the special effects stunk, and it was just an overall bad film.

Summary: Cool Movie
Review: I thought this was a really great movie. The special effects were really excellent. The storyline was okay. This is a must see for anyone who is into paranormal/thriller type movies.

Summary: My theory
Review: Okay, I'll be the first to admit it: Final Destination isn't going to win any Academy awards. There is no amazing acting, directing, or musical score that'll make this worthy of winning best picture. But why are we always looking for the next classic? Can't we just watch a summer movie every so often and enjoy it for what it is...just fun? I seem to think we can't. From what I see, movies such as 'Final Destination' are being mocked for their lack of "Oscar-winning material". So if you're looking for the next Titanic or Saving Private Ryan, don't watch this movie, because you're not going to find it...this is what you will find:

1.) This is a very intense, frightening movie. At only one hour and thirty minutes long, its quick, fun, and overall a joy to watch. 2.) The plot is scary, and the death scenes will make you shiver...basically it's lots of fun. 3.) The acting might not be top-notch, but it's good enough that you don't laugh at it like other dumb horror movies made today, and that says a lot.

We all expected 'Pearl Harbor' to be a gem, and what did we get? A half-decent movie that didn't do nearly as well as what we thought it would...so watch 'Final Destination', but watch it with an attitude that you're watching a fun summer movie, nothing more, nothing less, and you'll enjoy it.
