Summary: some movies don't need a sequal
Review: I wasn't expecting much from this film considering how mediocre the original was, but i still wasn't expecting it to be this bad.... The acting is weak, just like in the first. The action is lame. There are absolutely no exciting moments in this film and you can see every scare(or so called scare) coming a mile away. The ending was unbelievably bad, so bad i laughed. And the little joke at the end, during the credits, was just in poor taste. Its movies like this that give horror films such a poor rap. Don't waste your time with this...

Summary: "Final Cut" Better Than Most
Review: The horror scene is filmed and finished. There is no where left to go, run, hide, nor scream for a slasher film nowadays. It is good to see it go, but it was fun while it lasted. That's why I believe that "Urban Legends: Final Cut" should be the "final" slasher film because it goes out on top. It is a sequel but it stands on its own. The scares are scary and the intense sequences are present. It is called Urban Legends, but the killer doesn't knock-off his or their victims with legends. So what's the point of the title? The movie within a movie is called "Urban Legends". So you see that this sequel isn't a remake of the first and only has a supporting character of the original return. It doesn't rip-off any ideas the first had and it becomes, by the end, better than most of this genre and mainly, its original. Although the whole "movie within a movie" concept was filled to the top of the glass by "Scream 2" and "Scream 3", this doesn't exactly focus on it. It focuses on the whodunit and the results are pretty snappy. To top that, the score is really good compared to others of its kind. The score to "Scream" is haunting and beautiful, and untouchable. Until now. This score challenges it. Over all, "Final Cut" is not as bad as most expect. It is just a good little film with clever highlights and interesting characters...although Amy Mayfield is no Sidney Prescott.

Summary: How stupid can you get?
Review: Let me start off by saying, you know when the teen horror genre is falling apart when a movie like this comes out. This has got to be the worst movie that has come out in along time. Even worse than I still Know... At least that had a deasent plot. Here is why the movie stinks. 1.) You never see the people get killed. ( niether did hitchcock, but at least he was suspenseful) 2.) What is up with the brother? ( you will see if ou see the movie) 3.) Bad Scripting. 4.) Really predictable

With those reasons and more, please do not go see it. I made the mistake and paid... to see it in the theater where I fell asleep! That is how boring it is.

Summary: Cut it out....
Review: I loved UL1 and therefore was very psyched for the sequel. However, the sequel was a complete, incomprehensible, boring, predictable, nonsensical, piece of crap. The acting was bad. The characters were total sterotypes. The identity of the killer made no sense. And that stupid mask thing he wore, was soooo lame. The 'movie within a movie' thing has been done before, and done much better. I totally hated this film, avoid it at all costs.

Summary: Ok, I Really Care What None Of Ya`ll Say (unless you agree)
Review: I Think This Movie Was Awesome, The Only Reason That The It Only Had A Couple Of Very Gorey Parts Was Cause Of Bill Clinton. Ok Stop Laughing Till I Explain. That NUTCASE, Is Also The Reason For SCREAM 3 Not Being At Bloody, He Goes And Passes A Law, About Cutting Down Blood In Movies, Well HELLO, STUPID SH**, You Can Still Rent Movies That Are Already Out And Still See The Gore. His Reasoning: Stupid Teenages (and some adults) That Try To Act On These Movies And Kill People. It Makes Me Feel Like A Disgrace To Be A Teen. Oh Well Anyway. You Won`t Know Who The Killer Is Till The End. While The Credits Are Playing You Will Get A Surprise That You Will Only Understand If You`ve Seen PART ONE. In Fact You Won`t Understand The First Killing Unless You See Part One. So Anyway, I Think It Rules, I Don`t Care What You Think Unless You Agree, Cause People Are Steadily Trying To Cut This Movie Down. Maybe If You Would Stop The Hate And Congradulate It Would Make The Filmakers Feel Better And They Would Actually Listen To Your Opinions When Part 3 Comes Out Next Year. This Was NOT The ""Final"" Cut !

Summary: Don't waste your money!!!!!
Review: This was one of the worst movies I have seen in a loooonnnng time. Save your $20 on something worth buying. Luckiliy I only spent $3 in the movie to see it (which was still a waste!, I could have went to McDonalds instead). The plot in this movie is horrible, the acting is horrible, the story line is horrible. The movie makes absolutely zero sense. No secial effects worth mentioning. Buy this movie only if you run out of toilet paper or need a cup holder. Other than that, let the producer keep it!

Summary: Not bad for a teen slasher sequel
Review: I know I am probably going to be a minority on this but it is one of the better sequel teen slasher features. It's rare that in this genre that you have a film that is better than its predecessor. In the past only two real benchmarks really approached this threshold, Halloween came close to bettering the original with Halloween 2. Also Nightmare on Elm Street 3 became very memorable as it started the "Dream Trilogy" which shot Freddy to the top and is still considered one of the better horror trilogies. There were even some moments in the Friday the 13th series that topped the original. In that series the budget got bigger on each film and that could be the soul reason for the longevity of the series.

Don't get me wrong UL2 is predictable and has some awesome scenes coupled with some real dumb ones But it's the cast and the fresh faces that breathe new life into a stuffy genre. I always hated the slasher films where they use guest appearances to further the series. (ie: The Scream Trilogy) I also liked the fact that this film did do its best to stand on its own and not appear as a sequel. Throughout the whole film there were only 2 scenes that connected it to the first. In the Freddy, Jason and Michael Myers series it was always the same guy slicing and dicing. Scream had the same mask and the killer was always related to somebody in the previous film. UL2 breaks new ground there also because it doesn't follow that trend.

If you are a slasher genre fan and love the tension, UL2 is a must. Just the kidney bathroom scene is worth the admission for horror lovers. If you need a psychological thriller where you use a lot of brain cells to keep you guessing then UL2 may feel flat. Check your brain at the door, embrace the talents of some new actors and watch the movie.

Summary: Scary, Entertaining And Original
Review: Urban Legends: Final Cut is one of the few films that is superior to it's original. The scares are endless and it's more entertaining that "Scream 3". I though that the... sequences were well done and I enjoyed the fact that it reloved around film in college. Urban Legend: Final Cut isn't going to win any awards but it is sure fun to watch.

Summary: Final Cut, Didn't Cut It
Review: I gave this movie two stars because I loved the........... poster. When I saw the poster I was totally pumped. Then I watched the movie and my Balloon was popped. Disappointing, totally horrible, and did I mention disappointing. The Preview for this movie gave to much away, so the scenes that would have been climatic weren't because of what you already knew. Sometimes they say a preview has all the best parts from the movie, well in this case the preview was the best part! If you want to remeber the first one as a great film like me, you won't ever mention this one. Bottom line: FINAL CUT, DIDN'T CUT IT.

Summary: A BAD AWFUL FILM
Review: I WENT AND SAW THE FIRST A FEW YEARS BACK AND IT WAS GOOD, WITH A WELL KNOWN CAST, BUT THIS ONE HAD A AWFUL CAST OF UNKNOWNS LETS PRAY IT STAYS THIS WAY WITH ACTING THEY DID IN THE FILM. THE WHOLE TIME UNLIKE THE FIRST WHERE EACH WAS A URBAN LEGEND THIS ONE HAS TWO. AND THE ENDING WAS SO BAD IT WAS LIKE THEY COULDN'T THINK OF SOMETHING MORE ORIGINAL. GOD HELP US IF THEY MAKE A PART THREE, ANYONE WHO RENTS THIS FILM OR EVEN BUYS IT WILL REGRET IT
