Rating: Summary: NOTE : i havent seen the movie Review: if youre thinking of buying this movie and have no idea what its about ill give you bit. i saw the trailer on the Terror Firmer dvd. this movie is about a guy who gets into a car accident that ends up maiming his wife and killing his daughter. he then gets visions of his dead daughter telling him to go out and kill people. i cant really reccomend this or not, i havent seen it... but i would think any troma fan would take interest.
Rating: Summary: REAL BAD Review: Lots of confusion here! Most of the reviewers here are refering to 'The Unspeakable', which came out this year. The 2000 movie, 'Unspeakable' is what I'm reviewing. This is probably one of the worst directed and acted movies I have seen. It is riddled with poor focus(!), horrible framing, and jump cuts (which are ok if used properly). The script should get a little credit, it is a good idea... a pediphile flung into insanity after the death of his daughter & victim, but the writer probably shoulda got someone with skill to direct this one. The DVD itself is full of wonderful oddities taken from other troma movies and godknows where else, if you like weird stuff, check it out. Overall, it is what you expect from Troma, personally, i refuse to sit thru another.
Rating: Summary: One of Troma's Best film releases Review: Now, I've seen several Troma films...most of them, well, suck. I saw this movie for the first time at my friends house, and never forgot how sick, twisted, gross, and gory this film was. I loved it. And for being Troma, had decent acting and had a great script. This is a must for Troma fans. One of Troma's best!
Rating: Summary: Hell man i already paid!!!!!!! Review: This is by far one of Troma's best films by far the funniest and i have seen most of them one of the funniest things in this film is the pimp named hell complete with gold pentagram!!! he is right up there with Harvey from taxi driver and Gary Oldman in true romance.Another thing i liked is that troma didnt cut this film and put all the gore in the extras as they are so fond of doing. The film is about a smuck of sorts having to deal with the rants of his drunk wife who admits to cheating on him while they are driving in the rain while there kid is with them they crash his kid dies and he losses it killing and maming call girls, drug pushers,a gay s&m preist and severial others one of the best deaths in this movie is the guy hired to help the crippled wife stabs himself right through the mouth and he even has a I spit on your grave poster on his bathroom wall bravo to this director i hope troma lets this guy do more cause its good stuff and a breath of fresh air
Rating: Summary: "Chad Ferrin's Unspeakable" Review: Uh... I don't know who Howard McCain is, but the director of this film, "Unspeakable", is named Chad Ferrin. Amazon has Howard McCain listed as director of this film. And I don't think the other two reviews listed here are referring to the same movie. This film is a sick, twisted horror film about a guy who slowly goes crazy after a severe car crash leaves his daugter dead and his wife disfigured and brain-damaged. This is a disturbing film. If you have a taste for perverse, weird, violent, and all around wacko movies-- get this. Also of note, like most Troma DVD releases, "Unspeakable" features many extras. Chad Ferrin and actor Timothy Muskatell provide an audio commentary track, Chad Ferrin's short film is included, Ferrin is interviewed by Sgt. Kabukiman, and more.
