Summary: The three S's - Sex, Slashy, and Scary
Review: Curtis did good in this low-key but not bad performance. I must tell you that the movie is very predictable, but there's some fun to be had. If I were the director, I would know how to spice it up and make it more interesting. But there's some stupid people out there who would LOVE this movie.

Summary: AVERAGE SLASHER-FLICK
Review: "PROM NIGHT" IS YOUR TYPICAL RUN OF MILL HORROR SLASHER FLICK,IT CONTAINS SENSELESS VIOLENCE, AND DUMB WOMEN WHO JUST SIT THERE AND SCREAM WHILE AN AXE-WELDING MANIAC IS COMING STRAIGHT AT THEM."PROM NIGHT" FEATURES LESLIE NIELSON AND A YOUNG JAMIE LEE CURTIS WHO LOOK LIKE THEY'RE ACTING IS HALF-ASS AND THEY LOOK BORED,YOU MAY TOO.BUT,IF YOU LIKE SENSELESS VIOLENCE,POOR ACTING,GRAINY FOOTAGE,AND A POOR SCRIPT,THEN "PROM NIGHT" IS FOR YOU.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fun and Suspensful
Review: The presence of "scream queen" Jamie Lee Curtis and Leslie Nielson elevate this goofy slasher pic to a 5 star rating. Somewhat similar to Carrie and Friday the 13th and Halloween. You know what to expect when prom night arrives. Its mindless fun though somewhat repellently gory and gross. Will you guess the identity of the killer?

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Killers are coming, killers are coming.
Review: For those who should know better this isn't on the same level of greatness as Halloween. But for the type of horror film it is Prom Night rocks. It has just enough atmosphere to make it fun and watchable. For action fans look for an early performance from the gorgeous Jeff Wincott.

Summary: Not graphic, but still fun
Review: For some reason, this film became kind of legendary. It's a pretty average slasher movie, but it is fun when you're in the mood for it. The plot doesn't really matter, it's a standard "avenging-the-death-of" story, but it does get pretty creepy, especially when the killer calls up his soon-to-be victims and growls ominous messages into the phone(in the pre-Scream days of phone terror). It generally takes a bit more patience than more graphic films, but it eventually delivers(the severed head rolling across the dance floor was a nice touch). Overall, a good atmospheric slasher for late-night fun(which is when I saw it).

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Prom Night! Everything Is Alright!
Review: Okay, this movie is pretty daft, and the prom DJ only seems to have one CD. However, the killer doesn't notice this. He's to busy hacking up virgins. Then again, these virgins aren't very virginal. But the movie rocks, the finale is really good (But predictable) and the cast are okay. Jamie Lee really shakes accross the disco floor in one of the shodiest dance routines ever! It's cool!

Summary: Just a Halloween clone
Review: A typical story about four young kids that accidentally kill someone and get stalked by a killer angered for revenge. The idea has been done to death, not scary or entertaining. Still not the worst of it's genre, but thats nothing possitive.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: GREAT TWIST!
Review: Great Twist... great chases, kill scenes... THE KILLER IS COMING!!! Great beginning and some funny one-liners...Leslie Nielson? he's not all that bad... Purely entertaining in a disco way... check out how Jamie Lee Curtis' boyfriend dances! So FUNNY!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: You will NOT be disappointed
Review: From the very beginning to the very end, this film is entertaining. It starts off with a game of hide and seek in an abandoned building. When 10-year old Robin Hammond goes to see out of curiosity, the children taunt her and she falls out of a two-story window. Six years pass and no one finds out about the children's terrifying secret. But some one DOES know! I enjoyed this movie a lot for the great performances by Jamie Lee Curtis (Kim), Eddie Benton (Wendy, who is my favorite), Micheal Tough (Alex), and Casey Stevens (Nick). You won't be disppointed!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: well made clone of "Halloween"
Review: Well, let me start by saying that I loved Halloween, so I thought I might rent this one. Extremely well made with great plot and gore galore (after a slow start). I really liked the bit where that fellow's head rolled down the catwalk.
