Summary: a killer movie
Review: In the tradition of Scream and Scream 2 (and don't say it's not the same because it is) this movie forces you to use common sense elimination. However, it does it in such a way that we still never REALLY know 'whodunnit' until the end. Plus, this movie is based on a subject everyone can relate to....Urban Legends. We've all heard them and now they are put into a wonderfully scary horrorfest. Buy it if you can, you won't be dissapointed.

Summary: A clever horror film, from an Aussie
Review: Aussie Director Jamie Blacks, pulled off his debut direction with ease. I am a major fan of the horror genre and I loved this film. Frights, Screams and one very scary outfit. Alicia Witt, is the Neve Campbell, or Jennifer Love Hewitt of Urban Legend. The main heroine whose best buds kick the bucket and manage to outrun every tactic the killer pulls. Horror movies are not meant to be believable, they're meant to entertain and scare. This film will have you guessing who the killer is, and the outcome is unexpected. Joshua Jackson has a small yet pivitol role, Jared Leto plays the love interest of Witt who is unsure of his beliefs against the murders, Michael Rosenbaum livens up the film as a party animal, Tara Reid, definitely a Hollywood Starlet to be is great as a sex-talk radio host, and Rebecca Gayheart plays the loyal best friend to each and every character. Its inventive, scary, often humourous and in the tradition of every horror filck, the opening scene will frighten and disgust. A fantastic horror/thriller

Summary: WHY?????????????
Review: Why did they even bother to make this movie? I can't belive that hordes of stupid preppy teen girls and thier stupid sex pets (teenage boys) actually still spend moey on this crap. Just save a few bucks and watch that copy of stupid Scream that i know you own one more time. It's exactly the same.

Summary: Even worse than Halloween: H20
Review: Finally, a horror movie you can take the whole family to see. Recently, horror movies have been lacking frightful parts, but Urban Legend has just destroyed all the competition in this category. I managed to sit through this whole movie without being even remotely scared at any part.

The highlights are Joshua Jackson from Dawson's Creek because he's a cool person and Rebecca Gayheart because she's hot, but aside from that there isn't really any reason to go unless you have a free pass or a hot date or something of that nature.

It starts out okay, but it goes downhill from there and once you use the art of common sense elimination, it's pretty predictable for those of us with an IQ higher than Mike Tyson's.

Get the wife and 2.5 kids, toss 'em in the station wagon and have a nice family outing at the movie theater. Is there a lower rating than 1 star? Abolute garbage. Can we make horror movies actually thrilling? Uhh, maybe not.

Summary: Awful..
Review: Trite. Boring. Teenybopper. Urban Legend is terrible, the sort of movie 12- and 13-year-old girls would line up to see. If you want a true horror flick, see any of the Omen series. Unless you go for teenybopper, you'll be disappointed by this one.

Summary: Hey yall, I think Urban Legend was DA BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Urban Legend was a REALLY kewl movie. I wasn't really into horror movies before, so I was really freaking out when it first started. But after that, i was just really REALLY scared. But don't think that that is a bad thing, because if I was freaking out the whole time I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the movie. It is so much more fun if you watch it with others though. Urban Legend is worth every penny. You gotta see this movie.

Summary: Urban Legends between the lines
Review: You have to see this movie. I mean the part where Josh Jackson the hottie gets the rope so original. I was so surprised to see who the killer was. I would never have thought. I movie is a genuine original thriller. It keeps you awake and you dont fall asleep like most movie that just run-on and on. I plot is really cool and Urban Legend based killer with a ecskimo suit were do they think this stuff up? I have to say I was surprised. You gotta see it.

Summary: This movie is the "Plan 9 From Outer Space" of the Nineties!
Review: As if horror movies didn't already have a bad enough reputation! The ONLY reason to watch this movie is that it is so bad, it's hysterical!! The loopholes are large enough to drive an eighteen-wheeler through! (How come EVERYONE in the town wears the same exact hooded parka the killer does, even though it appears to be warm weather? How did the killer manage to microwave a dog and drag out a student at a crowded party without anyone else noticeing? How does the killer manage to clean up the site of a car accident within five minutes? Why does Natalie only get one-year's probation for forcing a man off the road, causing a fatal car accident? How come, despite a series of murders, NO POLICEMAN EVER SHOWS UP AT THE CAMPUS?!?) During horror classics like Scream, I was on the edge of my seat. But all throughout "Urban Legend", I kept checking my watch to see if it was just about over! If they played this "horror-classic" on an airplane, I would walk out!!!!

Summary: A whats going to happen next movie!
Review: None stop action and scares! Keeps you on your feet! After watching this movie, it makes you think whose next or now what will happen! I hope there is a part 2!

Summary: it would be better if all this really happened
Review: urban legends are fun stories to talk about but are better and more realistic if they are true. this movie did an outstanding job in doing this... by bringing them to life. Alicia Witt did a great job in portraying a scared victim. it wasn't scary at all but more cool. i can't wait for the sequel. even though sequels tend to be a letdouwn, horror sequels are always bloodier and more gruesome...CARNAGE CANDY!!!!!! i can't wait...
