Rating: Summary: Best Halloween Sequel.... since 2 Review: One heck of alot better than 3-6, not as good as 2, and Resurrection can't even hold a match to it. I liked it. It would have been a good way to end the series... but the producers see the green, not the films. I guess we can try again at killing Michael Myers....
Rating: Summary: Still Great 20 Years Later! Review: This was a very good movie. Although I prefer when they take place in Haddonfield, they made up for it by bringing back my idol, Jamie Lee Curtis. This movie was pretty scary, and I totally recommend it.
Rating: Summary: He's found her! Review: Halloween H20 is what I would like to call the official sequel to Halloween II. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode only to find that Michael is not just after her but also her son. If you happen to be someone who has not seen Halloween 3-6, it wouldn't be a bad idea to skip from Halloween II to Halloween H20 considering that this movie takes place 20 years after the events of Halloween II. This film probably has more of what the original Halloween fans are looking for but the previous sequels are still worth viewing. WARNING: Do not let the ending of H20 fool you!
Rating: Summary: Not Bad Steve Miner Review: This is one of the best halloweens in the series it opens up in a good horror form. It ends in a great horror form. this is a very challenging thriller then we can all say Jamie's back!Michael is more evil than he has been in a while this is worth you money if u love slasher films.
Rating: Summary: Halloween H20 Review: Halloween H20 is one of the best halloween films that has ever been made. It starts of with 2 young boys and an older woman murdered by of course Michael Myers. Then Myers goes after his sister and friends of her son. This is not that gory and it will not give you a scream unlike the Exorcist. If you like Halloween then watch it.
Rating: Summary: They cant be serious Review: The Halloween series is a well respected one in the world of horror films. Its the series we run to when we wish to escape the flat boring teenie bopper horror we are now faced with like Scream and I know what you did last summer... Well not this time. This new Halloween installment ignores all that has happened past Halloween II but this is not the problem. It has a flat script that is lacking in its ability to scare, thanks to Scream scribe, Kevin Williamson. Hasn't he proven to us enough that he cannot write anything scary? The worst abomination is Chris Durand. This stuntman clearly didnt do his homework, his rendition of Michael Myers is laughable He moves wrong he's much to fast and not at all methodical or creepy.. all in all avoid this entry unless you really enjoy seeing teenie bopper films.
Rating: Summary: "Good movie, horrible ending..." Review: This was an excellent movie, except for the end. The scoop is basically Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) has changed her name and moved to CA to escape her homicidal brother, Michael Myers. Now a teacher at a college university, Laurie now has a son, Jimmy, who gets into a little mischief while Laurie is getting ... by her counseler boyfriend. Michael is especially creepy in this one, we can see his menacing eyes finally and his killings are a lot more gory, but the body count is even less that in the first Halloween. Sadly, there is no Dr. Loomis here, but the film starts off with him telling the story of Michael in the first movie. LL Cool J is in this one, too, which adds to the enjoyment, and that is because he delivered quite a performance in Deep Blue Sea, why shouldn't he be in Halloween: H20? Now, you may think I don't know what I'm talking about, but I do! In conclusion, Halloween: H20 is definately worth the time, so pick up your copy today!
Rating: Summary: My Brother's Back...Try to Live Review: Acting as though sequels 3-6 didn't exsist, HALLOWEEN-H20, finds Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) in hiding with a new life. She is now living in California, working as the head of a private school with her son John (Josh Hartnett). She is struggling to forget the horror of what happened to her 20 years earlier. When Michael Myers tracks her down no one is safe...This fun sequel works, thanks to the performance of Curtis, a clever cameo by original "scream Queen" Janet Leigh (who happens to be Curtis's Mother), a tribute to series vet, the late GREAT Donald Pleasence and the inclusion of Marion (from Halloween and Halloween II) played by Nancy Stephens. The film is fun because a good script and a helping hand from Kevin (SCREAM) Williamson. The filmakers were smart and iincluded plenty of parallels to the original without being too overt Directed by Steve Miner, the movie has some great moments but nothing beats the final chase. Curtis and the cast seem to be having lots of fun here and it shows. The DVD includes a music video, trivia game, and a decent if short, 17 minute documentary called "Unmasking The Horror". Sadly the promised commentary with Curtis and others will have to wait for the next DVD edition . The commentary is missed and probably would have been a killer. Nothing will ever top the original film, however, H20 is still highly recommended and worthy of anyone's time
Rating: Summary: wonderful Review: this sequal lives up to the original like a sequal should absolutely a lot better than the other ones and is if not the second best then the third best
Rating: Summary: It's Been Twenty Years. Now Michael Is Back. Review: Directed by Steve Miner, whose credits include Friday the 13th parts II and III, Halloween: H2O is the best of the sequels, a chilling return to a dark realm of terror created in 1978 by director John Carpenter. It is the aftershock of an unrelenting nightmare, a plethora of terrifying jolts and frightening shocks. It is now Halloween 1998 and Laurie Strode has a son. Tormented by memories of that horrifying Halloween night twenty years ago, Laurie faces her fear literally when Michael Myers returns for a little family reunion... Halloween: H2O won distinction for being the first sequel since Halloween II to star Jamie Lee Curtis. Fortunately, she returned and brought legitamacy back to the series. This seventh installment will not disappoint you.
