Summary: Jason Lives
Review: This was another one of my favorite Friday The 13th. films. The original plot of Jason killng people at the camp. The mental little boy from the 4th. one is grow up and he is trying to kill Jason once and for all. He Digs up Jason at the cemmatary and tries burning Jason's body in the begining, but before he does he stabs him repeatlly with a metal pole then leaves it in Jason's dead body. A bolt of lighting from the storm hits the pole and brings Jason back to life. Tommy doesn't get to burn Jason's body after this. At the end Tommy chains Jason to a big rock and throws him into the lake. Jason doesn't die at the end. Jason is now sitting and waiting. I like the way Jason's mask looks in this film. The part with the whole paint ball game is the best. The way Jason takes care of that girls father "The Sheriff" is also the best. I give this movie a 5 out of 5 overall rating because it is a plot and actually makes sence. This movie was pretty violent, but the some parts you don't see everything that happens to people. For example the part were he kills the girl in the cabin. You hear her die then you see her thrown through a window, then Jason pulls her back in. I want to see blood. So I give this film a 4 out of 5 violence rating.

Summary: very average film.
Review: I'm a big fan of the f13th series i like all of them except jason goes to hell i cant believe they realesed that into the world, this film however is one of those it has it's good and bad. Thanks to those bastards in the mpaa they forced the director to chop down some graphic death scenes that could of made this better. The deaths in this movie are not that gross and not very good unlike other films in the series, and it makes kind of bored of this film. However Thom Mathews does a good job as Tommy Jarvis, and jason looks stronger and better than ever, also their are a couple of scenes that get you scared. So i would say rent it before you think of buying it.

Summary: JASON LIVES DVD
Review: I liked this DVD other then the fact that it had NO extras on it at all, just like the studio has done to the other ones with the exception of JGTH which belongs to New Line Cinema. Even though these movies are dumb to begin with, they are very creative, as far as following in the footsteps of former horror filmmakers before them, all though in some ways these films could be ALOT better! But I would still like to see a Special Edition of one of these films, preferably the original film. And I'd like to see what the filmmakers of these got to say about they're creations, that stuff could be included in featurettes or audio commentaries. Plus the Jason saga features ALOT of cut scenes, which would be interesting to see. I also liked some of the comedy that was thrown into this episode. This overall was better then the previous film! Except for some mistakes in the film, It's pretty decent! I still, now that I am grown up, can watch only a few horror films without losing interest. I can still watch this episode. I also visited the set from this film in Atlanta a while back, actually honestly by accident, it still looks alot like it did in the film, but has changed in some ways.

Summary: Jason does it again.
Review: Jason Lives - the title says it all. Jason is back again and he is ready to wreak havok. This film has probably some of the coolest death scenes to date. While not as gory as the other films (yet still gruesome), it is still very enjoyable. The characters are done fairly well, and the actor that portrays Tommy Jarvis (Thom Mathews) puts on a real believable preformance, and is determined to stop Jason once again. As bodys begin to stack up, Jason becomes a force to be dealt with once more. Can he ever REALLY be stopped?

If you are a horror fan, this movie is a must have. This film displays Jason in his prime as one of the top horror icons of all time. I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the Friday the 13th and Halloween movies, as it is one of the best and will not dissapoint.

Summary: Jason Lives! By far the best in the series!
Review: Finally, a movie with a pretty good plot and some decent acting. From start to finish, this movie never lets up. Jason is back with a vengence man and the soundtrack with Alice Cooper totally rocks!

Summary: Was that REAL black humour, or am I mistaken?
Review: "Jason Lives: Friday the 13th part VI"

When I first saw this movie, back in 1986, I was only 13. I didn't get it. Watching it again in my 20s, I was very, very amused by it. Right from the opening credit sequence, I realised that writer/director Tom McLoughlin has a much sharper wit about him than most of the other writers in this series; a jet-black sense of humour streaks through the film.

The opening titles begin with a 'homage' of sorts to the Bond films, with Bond firing his gun supplanted with Jason walking on and slicing with his machete (creating the blood flow down the screen). Then the first murders in the movie-proper end with a hapless camp counselor offering Jason her American Express card. Unfortunately for her, he doesn't accept plastic. Further in, some of the murders are so ridiculously overblown (the camper van sequence for example) that you have to chuckle. And for once, the humour isn't accidental. And the scenes with the kids, who seem to be fore-runners of the 90s post-modern slasher teens, are just hilarious with their in-jokery and sarcasm. Besides which, I seem to remember that this is the only Friday the 13th movie where the summer camp actually has KIDS(!), so it gets an extra point just for that.

McLoughlin wisely avoids anything but the barest link to the previous episode, save Tommy running away from whatever mental hospital he happens to be in. Tommy has been recast again with B-movie babe Thom Matthews, who is an appealing lead and much stronger (if physically less impressive) than John Shepherd from the previous film.

A pity Paramount couldn't make any effort to offer any real extras, but then again, I imagine that they're so embarrassed with the series as a whole that we should be thankful they released these DVDs at all.
