Summary: at least they used the same mask...
Review: Halloween 2 is creepy. Not as scary as the first film, but still very good. And the soundtrack is excellent.

Summary: Good but it's need to add more meat in it...
Review: Geez I would be honest with you that it is not as good as the original one "Halloween" to say at least it is good, it's better than nothing. If you are looking for one good scare then you should see "Halloween" and "H20".

Summary: WHAT!
Review: One question that i would like to ask Mr. Carpenter. What are you thinking! this really proves horror/slasher movies can still suck. Iam now going to say why it is so bad-reason #1 Dr.Loomis shot the killer 7 times he says he shot him 6 times! Reason #2 When he killed that girl in the hot tub her towl was rapped under her arms then when he killed her she had her towl around her waste! And Jamie Lee Curtis even said she only did that movie for thr friendship on Mr.Carpenter so this movie is a ****** waste of time!

Summary: AS GOOD AS NUMBER 1
Review: Halloween 2 was as good as the first one. This sequel has the blood, gore, and great deaths as the other one. Even though the other Halloween movies were bad this one is a must see. There is only one aspect that I don't understand at the end of this one Dr. Loomis blows himself up in the room with Michael Myers yet he is still alive in the next three sequels. That is the only bad aspect of this movie, but otherwise it's great.

Summary: HALLOWEEN IS BACK WITH A BANG
Review: When i started watching this movie and it picked up where the original left of I knew that I was in for a treat. Donald Plesance is great as Dr. Lummis and Jammie lee is even better than her role in the first one. Michael myers is the best slasher killer ever. I must say the rest of the movies went down hill affter this one, but it was nice to see Curtis back in H2O. To bad Plesance had to die in real life after #6 he would have made H2O a lot better.

Summary: Ominously chilling "Dr. Myers" makes housecall to Jaime Lee
Review: For about a year after my first viewing of H2 in 1986, I never would have been able to visit a hospital after-hours without an irrepressible sense of dreading what might be lurking around every corner! 13 years and many desensitizing viewings later, I would like to say that H2 is one of the very best horror/suspense sequels out there today! It has excellent continuity with its predecessor, but with a more spookier John Carpenter score, a more mystery-laden plot, a creepier-looking mask for Michael Myers, and a higher body-count than in most of the "Halloween" movies! Michael is still the nearly-invincible killing machine who has a panoply of weapons at his disposal in this gore-ridden installment (butcher knives, scapels, medical syringes, a hammer, and even a scalding-hot hydrotherapy pool). The hospital sets greatly aid in evoking a sense of trepidation and insecurity for the audience. Michael could be anywhere at any time hidden in the dark shadows of the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital's many rooms and corridors ready to strike! The chase-sequence between him and Jaime Lee Curtis is probably the only time I still feel some terror after so many viewings of H2. That dark, red-lit hospital basement they run down to (coupled with the newly synthesized chase music) would give any unsuspecting first-time viewer nightmares for a week! It turned out that director Rick Rosenthal had a great affinity for the grim, obscure sentiment portrayed in German Expressionist art. He used this ideology, coupled with John Carpenter and Debra Hill's script saavy, to make the dimly-lit hospital sets accentuate Michael's demonic aura. Also, hearing the cheery classic song "Mr. Sandman" in H2's beginning and end credits makes a stark contrast to the blood-curdling macbre inflicted by the wrath of Myers! Great performances by Donald Pleasance and by the "Scream Queen" Jaime Lee Curtis in their original roles of Dr. Sam Loomis and Laurie Strode.

H2 is a trick-or-treater's horror film delight all year around, despite what those pompous critics thought back in 1981! If you love it like I do, get yourself the soundtrack CD and possibly the Widescreen edition for more scares!

Summary: A WELL THOUGHT OUT SEQUEL!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Iill try to keep this as short as possible. It picks up exactly where the previous one ended. This breaks new ground and is scary, but still has a story line, unlike some horror movies. If you are looking for an exciting night, watch any of the HALLOWEENS, just make sure you know the story well enough, or ti could get confusing. I'll end it with HALLOWEEN ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: gives the word horror it's name
Review: If you like michael myers and have seen the first halloween you have got to see this. I stayed up all night watching this nonstop.

Summary: A good follow-up to the original
Review: Along with my review of the first Halloween (Collector's edition), I must give the sequel it's due. When you consider all of the filmmaker's options for a sequel to perhaps the best horror film of all time (Halloween, 1 year later?, Halloween the next day with police involved?, Halloween III? yuck!),they could have done a lot worse. The only sequel that I can think of that picks up exactly where the first one ended, who knew the night was only half through? Very cool. Also, I forgot to mention the other effect that made this film and it's predecessor so scary. The WALK! Talk about body language! The walk that Nick Castle (Michael Myers in pt. 1) came upon almost by accident, made the character what he is. Evil, precise,& predatory. Always stalking his prey. I wouldn't go into detail about this sort of thing but if someone asked you to imitate Michael Myers, what would you do? But I digress. Halloween II is a solid sequel, more bloody yes, but not without creativity.
